Money Pit

The first version of this game was simple and fun. The added farming element is not welcome. The butterfly games would be fun, in theory, except MyLittleDino does not register most tapping and there doesn't seem to be a difference between any of the games.

In my opinion, the farm addition is a forced add-on to encourage micro transactions. I don't have time to check on this thing every twenty minutes, but if I don't, all these crops disappear forever, I run out of coins, and this dinosaur dies or runs away or whatever. It's rigged so that you immediately spend all your coins and have to purchase more or enslave yourself to checking MyLittleDino every half hour. Not even the most fragile tamogatchi was that high maintenance. You'll waste less time buying your kid a real puppy or waiting for the mad scientists to clone that wooly mammoth they found in a glacier a few years ago.

No Money, No Honey!!!

The people who made this game is your regular, everyday, pick pocket. They lure us in to take our money. All the reviews I've read so far are true. MyLittleDino & the dino is free but the pills & other stuff cost more. I have an app on my ipad & 1 on my iphone. I bought 5,000 coins each at first, which cost $2.99 just so I could buy them the bed etc. then I bought 2500 coins ea for $1.99. They should have at least had the nerve to let me have my game in peace. Now, it crashed on my ipad cz I refused to buy it pills. I just cleaned up after them, logged out then logged back in, didn't even take a minute, & voila! 5 poops & 5 puddles.I am very disappointed with these people. Imagine, using a childs app to lure them into taking their parent's money. That is downright evil!

Read this, its important and helpful ( with cheats😉 )

Ok so honestly, I'm not really a big fan of this game. It has WAY too many notifications. And I used to LOVE it, but then I started getting really busy and I didn't have time to take care of my pet and it died. I mean I know that would happen in REAL life and all, but I'm just saying. But I can tell that some of u guys ( or gals ) like the game but are having trouble with it so I will answer your questions for you. So the one review that said they spent their coins on something but then it went away after they purchased it and they didn't know why, the answer to that is when you buy something, it goes away because you already purchased it and there is only one available for you to buy. Ok, now the one review that said you can never win at tic-tac-toe with your pet, it's actually really easy. Instead of playing it the REAL way, you can cheat. You see since you get to take your turn first(I think) , just take 3 fingers and tap them in a row all at once and you will get money really fast. ( don't forget to raise the price of how much money you or the other player will have to pay if they lose as high as it can go, since you will probably win every time). I hope you liked this review and I hope it was helpful to you! Peace!!!😋😆😆😆😋😝

Raptly Pet

I love my raptor so much! She's so cute and sweet, but there is some sort of glitch in the system that keeps killing her! When I go to check on her there all of the sudden countless raptors and for some reason it won't save that I fed her, watered her, cleaned up after her, etc. So I tried to restart my phone, and, as soon as I opened MyLittleDino , it said she was dead, but I kept getting messages from her. So I had to wait for her to die, and there was nothing I could do about it. It was really sad bc she was practically begging for me to feed her an water her and there was nothing I could do! :(

Ok...but could be so much more

I just don't get what MyLittleDino wants to be...it's not for little kids...my daughter loved it at first especially when her she suddenly got an extra Dino...then it died...that is really hard to explain to a little one. I also have bunch of coins I earned by there is NEVER anything to buy in the shop, and goodness knows what the bonus section is for, it is always blank. Come on! Get MyLittleDino going! I agree with the rest, it could be really cute but it is clearly not ready yet.

Cute but tough

This game is adorable and i like that you can care for a Dino of your own. But the other day my sister came home from school exited to check on her Dino. When she got into MyLittleDino there was a note saying she did not care for her Dino enough. In my opinion this does not seem fair, because; people cannot always be on a screen 24/7 to care for the Dino. My sister has other things to do, and can’t always be on her iPad. Again, cute game, but tough to do.

Its alright...

This tamagotchi is cute. I think it could be more like the original tamagotchis as far as the potty training goes and evolution. I read a review and the woman (I'm assuming) said its was disgusting that there was an option to choose the pets' sexual orientation to "..." which I again assume, she meant, homosexual. The parent should know that the game might be for family but adults use it as well. As far as the sexual orientation, I think it is great and should be kept on and as for parents who don't like it, they don't have to explain to their children what that means. It's just a bunch of symbols to them anyway. My boyfriend has MyLittleDino too but it is silly different. Why are there two apps with the same name but different icons? I am confused and wonder if I should delete MyLittleDino and get the same app as his or now...

Cute but needs major improvement

It's a cute program, but it needs MAJOR improvement. I don't like that it sends messages to my status bar even though I have notifications set to OFF! If I wanted to play with it when it sends the messages, I would.

The game has potential, but is not up to the same standards that the original Tamagotchi's were. I also do not like that you have to purchase coins with your own money. I highly suggest making more options for players to earn virtual money like in the Mytown games.

I gave this a three star rating because I see its potential, and with ALOT of improvements it could be great.

Too much

I got this pet thinking it would something fun to do. However, the pet is always going hungry and the only way for me to keep it healthy is feed it the birthday cake (the most expensive) every single time. Basically they want you to buy a coin pack. If you have time to look at this pet 5-6 times a day it will be fine for you, but it needs a lot more maintenance than they let on.

Potential

I agree that this application has a lot of potential. Boobah (my pets name) constantly says that it would be nice to take him out once in a while but there is no where for me to take him. As many others mentioned, I don't understand the significance of the hearts because so far they're unclickable (if that's even a word). I too think that a great feature would e if other pets can interact with one another, or even compete (like a pet Olympics). Keep brainstorming guys, as this can be a big hit.

Needy Raptor

I got this game thinking it was the most similar to my nano pet from when I was a kid. Which for the most part it is. You clean up after its messes, play games, and feed it. And the notifications it sends you are pretty entertaining. I took pretty good care of it, fed and gave it water all the time and played tic tac toe on a regular basis. But my raptor died after it barely grew up after a week! What the heck?? It said it was malnourished but I constantly gave it food. And the health pill costs $.99. Fun while it lasted I guess!

Love this app

I love MyLittleDino but there are some things that could be improved, I'm visually impaired and find it very easy to play MyLittleDino on my iPad. But I'm trying to Buy a health pill for My Pet but the only way to do it is by paying a dollar 99 for it. I just wish you could buy it using your coins. Also it says in the description that you can catch butterflies with your pet I don't know how but if somebody knows please help me. Also please add more games to play with your pet I understand this may be hard to add but I can wait.

Needs an UPDATE

I love MyLittleDino so much and all the encouraging things she says to me all the time but I seriously think MyLittleDino should be updated and get new games besides just tic tax toe. Also more foods and ways to get money. More things to buy and to customize my dinosaur and her habitat would be fantastic. More places for her to go would also be a good step in the right direction. But the game is fun and adorable.

A bit tedious...

Overall, MyLittleDino is fun, though the frequent notifications can get a tad annoying at times, especially when it interrupts something else you're trying to do. It also has occasional glitches, for instance, the other day when my Dino split into two. To fix it, I just had to quit MyLittleDino , turn my iPod off, then restart it, but it starts to seem like a lot of work when it happens more than once... By the way, in order to breed your Dino, you need to have it meet a Dino from someone else's devise. I'm pretty sure you can't breed without connecting games with a friend.

Trick for coins

This game is great if you pick the right dinosaur. The first two, either a boy or girl, are the ones who need the least amount of attention. Also, you can get coins very easily by either taking the Dino's picture, making love at a week old and playing tic tac toe. TTT has a pattern to it, allowing you to win everytime! Just bid 5 coins once you figure it out. Always place the first one in the middle, and depending on the next move, go diagonal. If they go in bottom right corner, you go in bottom left then top right. Or vice versa. Hope that helps!

Good Enough Game

It's a fine game but it could be better. Things like couches and rugs and whatnot cost to much, my unicorn is very cute but for a while it was sick and overweight, i couldn't get medicine and the only way to nurse Lucy (my unicorn) back to health was to underfeed her, I feel that teaches the wrong lesson. I find this game boring yet strangley addictive at age 11. I think this game should have more fun games and things to do and everything should cost less money (exept the food). i think this gamereally deserves 3 stars but i felt generous and it is an okay game. It's good enough.
I also i have the dino she's really needy but even with camp and my dad taking the ipad to work I have not trouble.

I think that unicorns and dinos on the same decice should be able to interact and that unicorns and unicorns and dinos and dinos should inter act, cause my friend has a unicorn and I want mineto become friends with her.

I think you should give this game a shot. It is really fun.

My Pet Raptor

So I am old enough (28+male) not to really be into this type of app. But I discovered it thinking it was something else. At first, I was...'eh' about it, not really into it, but cause I paid for it I thought, ok. But the thing is I am going through a really depressing time right now and he started sending me things like 'I'm happy your my owner.' and I have developed what most would call a very unhealthy relationship with the little guy, actually taking care of him like a real pet. Cool app. Thanks.

Cute

It's a cute app. Fun if your lonely. Like I'm in a long distance relationship and miss taking care of some one.
I wish it had more games. Having only tick tack toe is kinda lame and it would be nice if you could write back to your pet like say good night or something simple. I watch and hope for an update soon.

Doesn't work

Since I can't get the update to actually take,I cant say what improvements they tried to make. I can only hope it fixes the dead Heart button and allows your pet to go outside instead of having it complain about being cooped up all day.

Shame. It's a fun game, if the developers actually took pride in their work.

Just the pet I hoped for

I especially liked the customizable messages for every function that my new digital pet has. You can customize what it says! And you can include multiple different messages which it rotates through. So it's great fun!
