WTVM Storm Team Weather Reviews

I open WTVMStormTeamWeather every day, several times a day. It’s really a big help when I’m traveling to see what’s current and what’s ahead.

I love WTVMStormTeamWeather when I can open it. Ever since the last update WTVMStormTeamWeather only opens once. If I go back later and want to open it again, the WTVMWEATHER screen with yalls picture comes up, but it seems to freeze there. I have to turn my phone off completely and back on again every time. Then I can view WTVMStormTeamWeather one time.

I suffer fromMajor Anxiety this brings me comfort to know I can get reliable weather radar and see it for myself at any time.

The Aug 2017 version is highly unstable causing it to freeze and/or crash.

The overall basic content like the 10 day forecast, hour by hour, and radar is very good and deserving of 5 ⭐️ but WTVMStormTeamWeather contains a lot of stuff that is unnecessary that slows it down like videos, banners and pop ups that make it somewhat of a deal breaker to use.

WTVMStormTeamWeather is always different than the live broadcast. Which one should I believe? Also,WTVMStormTeamWeather may show 40% chance of rain and when I click on hourly, it shows 70% throughout the day.

I use this daily!

I can always count on the weather forecast of WTVM to tell me how to dress for the day

During the March 3, 2019 weather event WTVMStormTeamWeather notified me of all warnings and alerts in my area.

As of June 8, 2021 the newest update lags and doesn’t open most times for the news app. Trying to hard to make it video based. Need to review and revise to keeping it simple. Just my thoughts.

WTVMStormTeamWeather does not work anymore.

Old symbols were better and used to give so much more info. Please revert.

Your app use to work on iPad in landscape mode and it don’t now, it hasn’t for over a year please fix this it is only portrait now so you have to turn iPad to see.

Hard to find stories that I want to see and stories many times are not accurate!

This new interface is great guys! Simple, clean, and efficient use of the display with essential short cuts placed up front so they're easily accessible are a warm welcome. Abbreviated views of hourly, 10-day, and radar info already made available on the home page by scrolling are extremely convenient. I also appreciate the inclusion of sunrise and sunset times on the home page. Overall, I think the interface design is a huge improvement and hope the format remains similar for the foreseeable future.

I think the Oct. 2016 update will be easier for people to maneuver around. Ironically, I had just recently gotten use to WTVM's carousel-type menu, so now I feel lost again! 😁
My only complaint with the newest update is that I can no longer watch live news and weather segment through the weather app. I really enjoyed being able to watch WTVM live newscast or watch video of the most recent newscast from my iPhone or tablet wherever I was! I hope the next update to WTVM Weather app will restore access to the newscasts! Btw, I'm aware that the WTVM news app probably gives access to newscasts. But why download 2 apps when I can get what I need from 1!

This application has the best information and the best options available for folks that live in the Columbus Georgia area. I have replaced the weather app I've been using for years with it. The only critique I have is that the menus and the pages feel outdated. It could use a facelift but overall this is a great app.

I would like to be able to edit which alerts I receive. I don't want my phone going off in the middle of the night because of a thunderstorm warning, or a flash flood warning. But I do want it to go off for a tornado warning. Currently, there's no way to filter which alerts you receive, so it's all or nothing.

New app is difficult to use. Only want the radar view and I can not find it. Wish the old app. Would stop with the pop up reminded to use the new. New is not better.

The WTVM weather app has to be my favorite weather app, by far. It automatically notifies me when rain or bad weather is in my area. And each day it gives a notice notification on what to expect for the day. It's better than most other weather apps I've used!

Great app. Would be even better WITHOUT the huge "locator dot". The more you zoom out, the larger it appears on the map. It actually COVERS UP my location, defeating the point! Please... Remove the dot!!!

This is very user friendly app that is precise and quick in informing us about current weather conditions. I also like the satellite imagery on the maps. You will enjoy it!

This is a really cool app. There are so many features to it and so simple to understand I highly recommend it.
