About 10 years ago I logged into this game every day for a year. It was amazing back then. I redownloaded it recently and… why does everything take so long? I get it, you can’t have someone create a village, and within a month already have everything unlocked. But good lord, I’ve been playing for a week, using strategy to time everything with the breeding and leveling up families, and if you think about it, you could play this game for a year straight, phone plugged in, tapping away, and not even be half way through everything. And the purchasing system is unbelievably greedy for an app. 2500 acorns for $100 REAL dollars. That’s literally no acorns. You could blow through that in less than a minute, not an exaggeration. So it’s not even pay-to-win, because you’d have to blow about $10,000 dollars to get anywhere in the game. If you want to waste a year of your life, this is the game for you. Also, level 30 to unlock Dino world is ridiculous, make it level 10. Also also, the goals… don’t even get me started on the goals… you have no idea how infuriating it is when they ask you to buy something you already have, so then you have 2 of that item. If there was just one bad thing, I’d continue to play the game, but when it’s 5 major problems, I ain’t wasting my time with it.

I had to switch devices and the game didn’t carry over to my new device! After playing this game for years, we have to start all over again! Definitely not playing again. Not putting the time and energy in this game. If I could give it negative stars, for SO many reasons, it deserves it! We’ve been playing this game for years. First with my daughter and now with my grandson. It’s a great game but it takes a long time to build up your animals, coins, acorns, and friends.
If you’re going to play this game, you should know that you need to find Scrat in each of your friends because you can also get acorns from Scrat too, not just the Hydrax Tree! It’s important to add friends daily if you’re just starting to play the game.
There’s a lot of issues that the developers need to work on.
There haven’t been expansions in years, which causes difficulties for players that’s been playing the game for so long. Acorns are far and few between on the Hydrax Trees. Developers say it’s random how they’re given out, 41-61. But if you go through several trees and get minimal acorns, I would think there’s a glitch. That’s my opinion, especially when those friends haven’t been collected from before.
This game is fun for all ages. Be prepared for kids to want a gift card to purchase items for this game! Advice, tell them to play the game and work for acorns!

I downloaded this in hopes to mess around with an amazing movie meets addictive hay day themed app. In return, I launched it and it gave me a notification saying “This app does not support zoom view. Go to settings and change it to standard view.” So I went to settings, only to find that I had standard view ALREADY ON. Then I got to thinking, maybe if I change it to zoom view then back it will work. It didn’t. Soon after, I launched the app with the zoom on, that it said it didn’t work with, and to my surprise it got to the loading screen, then the game! But, it was only another disappointment, as everything in the game was all funky because it was zoomed in. Long story short, when I launched the app with the correct functions, it told me they were wrong and did not even load, and when I used the wrong one, it loaded but was all messed up. Please fix your software people, it shouldn’t be that complicated.
