Place My Face Reviews

I just reinstalled PlaceMyFace after having it for many years and it is literally unusable. You can’t tap on anything without opening a browser or there being relentless ads popping up. Looking for a new better app that doesn’t crash every time you try to save something. I think the developer needs to let it go and create something else more up-to-date and efficient.

Have used and enjoyed PlaceMyFace for years with unhindered access throughout. Now, with this latest update, access I enjoyed prior to the update has been changed to a pure subscription platform. In other words, everything I had access to before is now locked behind a paywall. Trying restore did nothing to regain what I lost. While you do have the option of gathering coins in order to use PlaceMyFace without paying, the process is arduous and really not worth it. Basically now, PlaceMyFace is worthless junk.

This used to be a great fun app. Now everything costs money and PlaceMyFace keeps crashing. Absolutely horrible. I did not agree to an update. Consequently everything was lost that was created previously. No notification that this was to be a completely revamped app and that things were no longer free. Granted the authors have a right to make changes. I, and apparently many others will be making changes as well by deleting PlaceMyFace.

I used this for birthdays and people would always say, “How’d you do that!”. While they corrected the last problem where you couldn’t see both photos you were working with, now after creating a great photo, more than 1/2 the photo is gone leaving only a little around your work vs. the entire photo. Truly would be a 5 star app if the photo stayed the same after completing it.

I used to love PlaceMyFace so much. I would use it just about every day to make fun new pictures. I would use PlaceMyFace just to pass time so much that I have bought four or five extended versions within PlaceMyFace. Since the create your own portion of PlaceMyFace is changed I can no longer shrink down a photo and erase the face with the motion of my finger. This has taken all the fun of finding a photo online and making it your own. I guess I will have to find another app.

App is easy to use and you do get some good laughs but it is definitely not worth a whole dollar. There are sites that do the same thing that are free. It really irritates me that after I paid for PlaceMyFace it categorizes the backgrounds I can use as "freebies". If you're black or dark skinned don't bother you'll be disappointed without a doubt. Celebs and all the other popular backgrounds need to be unlocked with more money and Each category needs to be paid for separately.

PlaceMyFace has potential to be what you're looking for if you're into this sort of fun like me but alot better packages to expand your options do not work. You can buy them but for the life of me they will not install onto your app. You're stuck with paying for them and only having the bare minimum to use. Because anyone could make the mistake of spending their money on features that are unusable,I cannot recommend PlaceMyFace. If this problem was resolved this could easily earn a 4 star recommendation but as is,you might only be able to enjoy PlaceMyFace a few times before it gets stale and repetitive.

I'd love to give PlaceMyFace a better review, but it took several tries before PlaceMyFace finally downloaded the extra scenes I purchased. Several of the fashion pics don't show up when I tap on them. I only get a gray screen. I also find it difficult and tricky to adjust the color. I wish there was a better way to do that. I love the pics when the editing goes well, but it's time-consuming and frustrating.

I like that app it's very cool. I only have a problem with the lack of brown skin color. I want to use PlaceMyFace but will not only because my brown skin face on a white body doesn't quite fit. The makers of PlaceMyFace need to appeal to every shade and not just stuck to mainly one. I'm not saying there isn't any brown skin pictures but 4 pictures is simply not enough. What if I wanted to be a ballerina, a police woman or a brown body builder. A lot of the good pictures had white skin and it's not fair to all the people who downloads PlaceMyFace. Please see this as an opportunity to add a little more splash of color in your app. Future thanks.

We're having lots of silly fun with this! There are quite a few faces for free, and you can buy more if you want. When you get it just right, it almost works. One review said, "the edges don't blur so it doesn't look real", but whose face is really blurry? (I think they meant blended.). Anyway, who'd believe a boy-faced monkey?, a little muscle bound girl?, or a baby sumo wrestler? Get my point? I took a near perfect pic of my 5 year old as an arrestee. He even managed a disgusted expression! And, I discovered something by accident. After I'd taken and saved the shot, I touched his face, and it MOVED! I was able to reposition it so that it looked even better. So, the reviewer that said you couldn't reposition the pic was incorrect-at least, it works on my iPad Air running IOS 8.3. This may not work with older versions of IOS, I have no way to check.

I need to do other things but PlaceMyFace is very entertaining Now every time I take a picture of someone I'm gonna be looking for all the right angles so i can harass them later with their faces on someone else's body. It never gets old and it's so funny!!!!

I would give PlaceMyFace 5 stars if it weren't for when you buy an extra it didn't show up. I wasted 1 dollar on celebrities and it didn't even show up. Besides that, PlaceMyFace is really fun I use it all the time.😒

Of all of the apps like it, this is by far the best! The ability to really fine tune your skin tones is so helpful! Most other, similar apps don't provide this. Additionally, the ability to make your own template makes PlaceMyFace endless fun! I can't stop playing with it and sending out silly pictures!! Excellent app!!

This is easy to use and fun to put your friends' faces in the goofy ones. It takes a couple minutes to load the pics when u open it for the first time and if ur screen sleeps u gotta start over. But other than that, it works great and I'm having fun with it.

Ok, so I'm like always trying to make fun of my little brother, and the animal section in this AMAZING app is perfect for that!!!! I have only one suggestion though. Its that the free version of PlaceMyFace needs to have more selections... Sorry but there's only like 3-4 selections to choose from. Oh and also, you need more GIRL pictures to choose from, not just in the baby section, there's only two others!!!!! Btw, I AM A GIRL!!!!!!!!!! Ok well anyways... Greatest app ever, get it now, because it's FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!

.. A few people wrote bad reviews for color blending.. Come on its a cell phone app for a buck.. Not photoshop!

This Is a fun way to kill time, but you wont be developing stunning works of art. Its a game.. A good way to kill some time, but it wont make you a graphic artist.

I love PlaceMyFace I take pictures of my family and put their face, in silly frames! They have no idea and then at the end of the night I go around and show them! They are like " Who Is That " and I'm like " You " hahaha get PlaceMyFace it is so funny!

PLEASE READ THIS!!! I think it is awesome! I played this this with my friends and we laughed our heads off!! (well, not really our heads off) the only thing i would change about is that they need more photos! Worth the money

Pretty fun app. Very easy to use and easy to adjust your picture orientation/size. Have to make sure the lighting in your own pictures match the background to make it more realistic.

Soon as u tap it the screen goes black them sends u to yo menu screen they should jus close PlaceMyFace .. it use to work perfectly
