I used to spend hours perusing FootballFriday on Thursdays and Fridays. It was a community. Unfortunately, the recent update stripped this from us. If the Dave Campbell’s team wanted to remove forums or game chats, that’s fine. But completely revamping FootballFriday was completely unnecessary. PLEASE go back to the previous iteration. At the moment, it is unusable.

They listened to our concerns and reverted back to FootballFriday we all love. Thank you for responding to our comments and concerns. Back to a 5-star rating you go!

I am not sure why the decision was made to change FootballFriday. Been using the 5-star app for years. It was clean, it was accurate, it was bug-free. It was just great!

Now they’ve replaced it with this. FootballFriday has so many bugs, it’s hard to use. Favorite teams don’t save right and you have to try multiple times to get it right. Scores don’t show accurate until you click into the game. Who has time to click into every game? Several of the games won’t load when you click them - just says game doesn’t exist.

How can we convince the owners of FootballFriday to revert to previous version until this one can be hardened a bit more? 1 star until then.

Been using FootballFriday for years and just recently realized there was a new update which changed the look and everything. I fully agree with other reviewers on the disappointing new update. However, reverting FootballFriday back to the original was a great decision by the developer and I’m happy to be able to check scores so easily again!

Today I see they brought back the old app which was and still is a 5 star winner. The so called ‘update’ was a Zero-star unmitigated disaster of the worst sort. I deleted it off my phone. When I heard they reverted to the classic app I reinstalled it to see for myself. Lo and behold! PLEASE DO NOT SCREW WITH FootballFriday ANYMORE. What on earth ever made anyone want to mess with it in the first place?

We all appreciate when a person or company admits their mistakes and/or rights a wrong.

Regardless, FootballFriday that worked just fine before the 2021 “upgrade” is back. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The old app was great! Everyone was happy. Then someone came along and ran it into the ground. Probably didn’t even get into their position of power legally. Then someone took back over and made FootballFriday great again. I sure wish someone would do the same for our country.

Hallelujah! Thank you for going back to the old format! I tried, I really did, to like the new design, but I never could get it to load games Friday night. Too much clicking to even find what I was looking fir...now my games are right back where they’re supposed to be 😊 Thank you!!

I, along w/ most football fans, was incredibly frustrated w/ the new update. DCTF displayed leadership & class by listening, taking ownership & making changes. They’re the best @ what they do & I’m excited to use Football Friday for the 2021 season & beyond.

I wish we could have the old app back. This site never works until Saturday. I’ve tried everything like re installing and still nothing. I’m trying to find another app that will work the day of games not the day after. I loved the old app. I could be at one game watching my kids and keep track of the game my brother was coaching. So sad and disappointed

Very glad that they returned to its older format. All the info is there and it’s way more user friendly. Great call to go back and just make what worked better instead of reinventing the wheel.

Multiple issues with the new version forced the return of FootballFriday Texas high school football app fans knew and loved. Thanks to DCTF recognizing and returning to the previous version.

Thank you for changing back to the original format! I’ll admit that I absolutely hated what FootballFriday had become to start this season.

FootballFriday is a must have for TXHSFB fans.

If you want easily navigated scores, schedules etc, this is no longer the place. Pre-update app was great, new version is awful

Why did you ruin a great app? I loved being able to check the scores from all over the state easily, bouncing from 6A big schools to my alma mater, to small town schools and games I never heard of. But now the thing won’t even open on Fridays. Always trying to connect to server, no scores to be found. This is absolutely terrible.

The updated app was terrible don’t try to fix it if it’s wasn’t broke!!!

9.0 version was horrible. We loved the original.

I got put on probation and didn’t say anything offensive there were several guys using profanity on the chat that I was on but I was not one of them. I guess if you disagree with someone they can report you as offensive and you are put on probation without someone actually checking into it

Is it possible to keep the venue information for the games listed even after they have started? It would be nice to know where the game was played after kick off and ending of game. Thanks

I have not been able to make my pick for my teams each week! Message says connection error try back later. When I try again same message. Never had this problem before. I have always been able to make my pick every week.

In a day and age where bullying has gotten to what it has, FootballFriday is terrible! I’d love to give it a five star review because the updates on scores is nice but they should absolutely do away with the chat on FootballFriday. I do not understand the purpose of it but it’s gotten way out of hand. The vulgar and disrespect and non football related rudeness is terrible. I’d love to see it go away @ for FOX sports Southwest to be against such hate and disrespect that is allowed on FootballFriday.

I talk to fssw Friday night football on Facebook explained they I was falsely reported. They ask me questions very nice and told me I’m unlocked from probation! Thank u and I’m a huge fan of football! Oh yeah!

Great app, love keeping up to date with the area schools where I grew up,as well as the school where my grandsons now play.

I wish there was a way to disable the chat, I won’t allow my son to have FootballFriday because of the vulgar and disrespectful language. It’s probably the best app for keeping track of scores, but it also has the most hasbeens and athletic washouts that love to talk trash and will say whatever it takes to get in your skin.

Great for keeping up with other teams/games around the state. Stadium info is accurate. I don't use the forums that much but have browsed through them on occasion. I have two complaints regarding the "Rankings" tab: #1 Where is 6 man? #2 There are 12 state football championships in Texas, and each has it's own rankings. Therefore, there should be 12 pages of rankings as each class/conference is divided into Div 1 & 2 teams, except 1A which has 4 when you include 6 man.

How is it there are some people that can say anything they want on here without getting put on probation but you respond back to something that they said and you get put on probation, kinda seems like a liberal is running this site

FootballFriday is trash. Nothing more than men bullying teenage boys for not playing football like they all did in their “glory” days. I’m very disappointed in FSSW and Dave Campbell’s for allowing the disgusting treatment of players and coaches that goes on in FootballFriday. VERY HARSH

FootballFriday has become a hub for people to spew racism and offensive comments. Most of the discussion threads have nothing to do with sports and the few that do often lead to disrespectful comments.

The moderators are terrible at put you on probation for no reason.

This is my most favorite app on my iPhone! Heck, FNR is my most favorite app I've ever had! Read a lot of the other reviews and don't understand why anyone wouldn't like it except if it doesn't work for them! Like a lot of others have said the only problem I've ever had is on Friday night it was slow at 1st because everyone was connected at once, but the moderators have fixed that problem! I'm addicted to FootballFriday and find myself checking everyday at least every 3 hours and hours upon hours on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Also, it is VERY user friendly.

ever since purchased the season pass option few days ago FootballFriday freezes up on the FNR black screen and cant do anything for hours, happens everytime u go to "my profile" part so i cant change id or anything. Fix the bugs or whatever please! I have deleted and reinstalled FootballFriday twice already and does same thing...I love this FNR and tell everyone about being from a small town that lives for friday nights and deep runs in the playoffs! Best app by far for Texas High School Football...just fix the small issues.
