Tinychat is utter trash. Much like the current state of the website itself. I’ve been using this app for almost a decade and Tinychat has steadily gotten worse. It is to the point where you can’t even use it for more than a few minutes at a time. The chat freezes up, you can’t mute or hide cams, and it logs you out constantly. It also never stays connected. Ever since paltalk purchased this app, they reformed the layout of the site and ran the entire hung into the ground. If you frequent this app, you will notice their servers crash site-wide for sometimes hours at a time. Complete blackout. This has been happening for months now and the staff have given NO ONE answers and seem to not give a single crap. Yet they still have zero issue taking your money if you are a pro user. In essence it’s another case of, this is what you get and it’s all you get so deal with it and be lucky you have anything at all. Bs

Tinychat is impressively unstable and useless. Have you given up on the iPhone app? The last review is spot on and was posted on January come on folks. At least pull Tinychat until you figure it out or if you don't care just pull it so people don't waste bandwidth thinking something is wrong with their device.

Tinychat needs HELP. It’s a really awesome app but it constantly crashes. I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled, created new user names and updated and reset my phone MULTIPLE times. Please fix this. I want to use Tinychat. Thank you

A lot of chatter is on this website are forced to try and use mobile when they are away from home and can't use this pretty much at all anymore. Tinychat always had issues but it at least used to let us chat and get on Camera. Now it doesn't work at all. Everything is laggy and broadcasting constantly fails while Tinychat itself completely crashes constantly. in its current state Tinychat is completely unusable and I have the latest operating system for my iPhone and I have tried re-downloading and updating Tinychat . It doesn't matter if I'm wasting my mobile data or if I'm connected to Wi-Fi. This desperately needs to be fixed. Why did you break it so badly? How???

So the only reason to use Tinychat is on WiFi? Tinychat has gone to sh#% at least back in the days you could ca, up,or see people who cam up. Now if I’m not connected to WiFi I can’t see nobody cams

Slow, freezes, can’t hear audio sometimes, it actually to be better years ago. Who is working on Tinychat? How can it get worse over the years, hahaha ridiculous

Tinychat is absolute trash. All it does it freaking crash and lock up your phone. Apple should be ashamed for letting it be on the store. Ever since Justin Bieber had bought the site, it has gotten worse. Which makes sense, since he is trash as well.

Unable to hear anyone’s mic as soon as I start broadcasting. Have an 11 Pro upgraded from a XS.. Had the same issue on the XS.

Update: I use the default phone speakers.

Update2: I mainly use wifi and happens regardless and everywhere.

Tinychat is complete crap. I’ve been using this app for a couple of years now, and it’s steadily gone downhill since the new layout. And the owners don’t seem to care at all. Who honestly can take pride in their site with a bunch of dissatisfied users and a 1.6 star rating on Tinychat Store. It’d be great if they’d go back to the old layout and fix Tinychat . The fact people pay for pro is beyond me. Why pay for something broken.

Ever since installing the new update for my iOS on my iPhone Tinychat no longer works. You enter a room and the cams are continuously loading never showing anyone’s cam. If I would have known this prior to the update I would not have updated it but unfortunately automatic updates were on. Please fix this and also add a Mute button for mobile users for idiots who like to open mic.

I love the website and I usually use Tinychat when I’m lazy about using my laptop to access the website. Here lately Tinychat is no good for iPhone users. It continues to crash so I’m currently unable to use it. A lot of people who use Tinychat have an iPhone, including myself, so I’m sure the apps’ numbers are very low. Please fix this issue so the numbers can get back up to normal and so iPhone users can enjoy this app just as well as those on computers.

I have been having problems with Tinychat since day 2 of me trying to use it! I have uninstalled and reinstalled SEVERAL times I have also sent SEVERAL messages to Kyle and Stuart asking for HELP to resolve this issue and still have YET to get a response—some customer service guys 👍🏾—I can’t hear or see anyone I’m trying to chat with...even with I text chat those barely go through and I always get a “Failed to broadcast” message. Not sure what the problem is but I’d like some resolution soon. 😡😡😡

Dear Developers,

As a fellow developer, you may want to investigate the behavior of iOS 12 vs 10.3. After upgrading to 12 recently, I am unable to use Tinychat hardly at all. I can get maybe, if I’m lucky, 5 minutes of streaming time in per session before it either closes out completely or everyone’s streams just lock up for me and I need to rejoin.

Prior to upgrading my iOS, it was never an issue. Never crashed, Audio and video never just stopped working at random, and it never had random insane lag spikes that were a good 500ms behind, NOT related to connections either (tested already).

As of now, I can see why this has such terrible ratings. Most users are not using old legacy versions of iOS. So, you should really focus on debugging this on the newest iOS as it’s clearly NOT stable at all for us.

I have been trying to use Tinychat on multiple devices for over a year and it is just horrible. I open Tinychat , go into my room and 3/4 times my sound isn’t working. I have to repeatedly close Tinychat and open it just to be able to hear anyone. I can’t cam up either. If I do I loose sound when I have it. I am forced to use headphones because the sound just will not work at all if I cam up. And surprise! I end up getting kicked from Tinychat entirely to where it closes about 45 seconds after I cam up. I’m so tired of trying to use Tinychat. I wouldn’t rate it anything if I could.

Fix the camera to turn it back to the side too, that was a nice feature. New version keeps crashing
