It's a good app to practice keeping track of money up to 10.. but I wish that there was some sort of mini game to earn extra $ if you didn't have enough left to teach that money won't just come out of thin air but earned.. & as a parent I wish that the cash register would have all the numbers up to 10 shown to help them identify the correct numbers.. and another thing is I wish that there were a section that you could raise the amount of coins available at first so the kids can continue to learn there numbers up to say increments of ten up to 50.. anyways it's a fun game I just wish that there was a bit more

I purchased this, and I feel like it just isn't educational enough...if my child is on the ipad for a short time, I'd rather that time be spent on something with a little more to it than TocaStore...really disappointed for the price. I can find free apps that have better educational qualities to them. Unfortunatly, it does not qualify me for a refund. The only lesson I learned was to beware!

I noticed now you have to pay for TocaStore but before you didn't have to pay. But before I had a white Ipad, now I have a black Ipad. So it all makes sense but why pay for it now?

Great app to simply play or to use it as a launching pad for other activities of daily living goals, such as: increasing vocabulary - requesting and offering items that are wanted, basic counting and sequencing, and rehearsing and building tolerances for sensory input while in a store. The magical part of TocaStore is that it is built to be interactive - it is more fun with a partner! You can negotiate everything from who is store keeper and who is customer to just ....whatcha wanna sell or buy. For kids that are more sensitive...you can practice buying items at Toca Store - and habituate to the cash register sound and the sequence of waiting (paying and bagging up your items), then progress to playing "store', then visit a store and buy a few of the items with a checklist...
The graphics are well done and inviting. The only thing that I would like is to be able to push a cart through an aisle and try to spot items that were selected to buy. That way you have the whole sequence of a store shopping...and not just the last part.

The only things I would change is maybe shop through aisles and pick items from the shelves for a better shopping experience. Also the girl I nanny and I like to play this game along side other Toca Boca games like Tea Party, so we shop first then have the party. If there was more of a selection of items we could do this with other Toca Boca games as well!

it’s cute, fun, and a time killer! Even if i’m 10! You should get this if your bored or need a nice game, I think it’s pretty impressive 2 people can play! Personally I play by myself but eventually my big sister will probobly just play too because it’s relaxing! Thanks toca!

Fun store app for little ones. I just played this with a kid and he complained that he couldn't tap the purse (wish there was a gender neutral container for the money instead of the girly purse) to see how much money he had before he bought something. Other than that he loved it. I also think being able to look at what's in your bag at will would be neat and if some of the items had sound effects when you touched them! Maybe in the future you could have a Toca Store 2 that is a little harder and geared toward older kids, but could also be used by those that have mastered counting while playing TocaStore. Great job Toca Boca!!!
