Don’t waste your money until they work out the kinks.
I have tried to use NewBeautyMagazine on both iPhone and iPad. I have had the subscription with and without the hard copy magazine it’s rare that it work. It’s unfortunate, I do really enjoy the magazine and it’s content, but app has rarely worked.

I do have a subscription for the paper version of this magazine. After I downloaded free app I couldn't even open first page to look at the iPad issue. NewBeautyMagazine just crashed. I tried to remove and install it again, but it didn't help. Very disappointed. I have all my magazines in iPad version and only New Beauty giving me this "headache". I described the problem to the tech support team but it seems that they can't help me!???

App keeps telling me to update NewBeautyMagazine but there is no update. Deleted it and reinstalled, no change. Tried to contact developer and there’s only FAQ, no where to actually contact them? Magazine is fine, app is bad.

App doesn’t work! It won’t open. I hope a refund is already being processed.

App crashes. And automatically goes back to first page rather than remembering the page you were last on. So annoying. Definitely not renewing.

Unbelievable, I was charged $4.99 for an issue which won't download! My credit card was charged but I didn't get the issue i was attempting to purchase! You keep getting a message that it's loading except it is not! None of the other issues would load either! You get another error message like 'Your region won't load'!
It's unbelievable to me that someone launched NewBeautyMagazine without ever testing it?!!! I want my $5 back!

I really wish apple would put something out that explains about how newsstand works. You have to download it from the appstore (for free) then get the subscription (for a price) I think. Is this all the magazines there are? When i open up newsstand from my home screen it says go here to purchase them. I come here and when you click search it takes you to NewBeautyMagazine store search. If these are the only mags... What a waste of the IOS5 update. This was supposed to be a perk! Please do some explaining apple. We just don't get it.

I downloaded NewBeautyMagazine because I am a print subscriber now but initially I tried to download the previous magazines it was freezing. I had to uninstall then reinstall. Now that I got to download a magazine as I am realizing that as I turn the page it some times skips a few pages if I'm not paying attention to the page numbers. As expensive as this subscription is NewBeautyMagazine needs major work. Please fix ASAP as I would like to read every page of something I am paying lots of money for.

I get the printed mag and love it but NewBeautyMagazine doesn't work. This is the first time I have a problem downloading an application. The tech support suggest: "Launch the NewBeauty App again and then tap on the Refresh button at the top right of the Library screen. You will now be prompted to log in with your App Store ID. After logging in, all of the downloads that you've previously purchased will resume downloading immediately"
I tried that and still doesn't finish downloading. I give up!

The content of the magazine is fine. However, the New Beauty app, for both the iPhone and iPad is problematic. You will not have access to previously purchased issues. You will also have difficulty archiving and downloading content from issues. Support is ineffectual. They do not understand the software of their own app! Apple will reprimand you for not contacting the developer, but Apple should not allow troublesome apps to be sold in the iTunes store. It is not the consumer’s fault. When Apple sells questionable merchandise it would reflect badly upon Apple and they should not force their customers to mop up the mess. I would wait until Sandow figured out how to troubleshoot their own app and stick with the print subscription until then.

I would probably love NewBeautyMagazine, if not for the near constant crashing. Every time I open an issue, it crashes. Also, downloading certain issues seems to take forever. Why??? If this doesn't get resolved, I won't be renewing my subscription. This is too expensive for what I've been getting.

I am able to upload the past issues no problem. If you had trouble before I would recommend trying again.

I would give this 5 stars but I can't seem to download the free magazine they have to offer. Also I'm hoping for more advances to NewBeautyMagazine so it can be just as awesome as the new beauty magazine!

I'm not sure what people were talking about when they said they didn't like it! I personally experienced little to none problems with NewBeautyMagazine , and the magazine contents itself were great. This is one of news stand's best magazines for sure.

Very happy with NewBeautyMagazine. Easy to use and really convenient to read this magazine online. I don't live in states, so it is amazing chance for me to be able to read it here.

New Beauty is my favorite magazine. So much great info! Reading it on my iPad is a great option. Just wish the issues downloaded a bit quicker.

All the past issues for free? This is robbery! What a great deal! And if you can't view the issue, click the view button next to the issue in the library tab and if that doesn't work by itself, hit the Issue tab down at the bottom. From then on it's simple swiping the pages to read the magazine.

I mean it only comes out 4 times a year and every week this last time I was looking for the new issue and then I got it and was so excited but half the stuff in there is for people who have cash and dont know what to spend it on! Lol I mean $3 hundread something for skin cream lol please! Dont get me wrong Iove the magazine but ive tried a lot of "high end" products ffrom eye creams to face creams and they really don't work.

My friend told me about new beauty and I'm now a believer. This has everything you ever wanted to know about products for skin, hair, body. They even give you info on doctor treatments (although I'm still a little too young to get into some of the things they talk about)... If you are hoping to find products you will become addicted too... This is the mag for you. Hoping to try this thing called a test tube too. Looks like beauty samples get delivered to your house with the magazine. Soon excited.

I love NewBeautyMagazine! This is one of my favorite beauty magazines and I love the additional features NewBeautyMagazine provides such as the zoom capability and being able to access the website of a product that I'm interested in directly from the magazine page. I could go on and on. Suffice it to say that I will spending a lot of happy time in the NewBeauty app!
