I’ve been using this program for some time. In the past, it would go back to the home screen if you turned your IPhone off and then back on. In its current configuration when you turn your unit off and then back on again it will open up to the page you were on when you turned the unit off.

What I’m saying here is this... you can be in the middle of reading (or writing) a confidential email. If you are interrupted and have to turn your iPhone off you will come right back to the same screen when you turn your unit back on. From my prospective, this destroys any confidentiality you thought you may have had.

Once again, this is a change to the way this program used to work. In the past, you would go back to the home screen if you turned your unit off then back on.

Every few days or so of using PrivateBrowsingWhite , it will suddenly crash to home screen, and make my phone completely laggy until I restart it. I have to delete and completely reinstall in order to get it not to lag and crash anymore, but that only lasts a few sessions. And I loose all my bookmarks.

PrivateBrowsingWhite also gets very large in size sometimes. Not sure if that is related, but it could be a memory leak or something.

Is anyone else as confused as I am? I download PrivateBrowsingWhite and launch it, it tells me I can pay $2.99 or something like that to “remove ads” even though there’s already an “ad blocker” turned on which seemingly does nothing because I still have ads “in browser” on pages and although I did pay the $$ to have the ads removed from PrivateBrowsingWhite , that money did absolutely nothing other than take me back to PrivateBrowsingWhite Store to download another version of PrivateBrowsingWhite . Oh and don’t forget “Snowbunny”...there’s that exact same app. Anyhow, I paid money for nothing and now have 3 versions of the EXACT SAMEN app on my phone. Makes no sense and I definitely recommend to anyone thinking about it DO NOT PAY FOR ADD REMOVAL nothing happens when you do other than you flush $3 down the drain.

Use the free version, liked it. Upgraded to white. Having a full white screen not ideal specially when using at night time. Would love to be able to modify or invert screen settings for ease on eyes.
Really don't like white screen. Hence three stars.

PrivateBrowsingWhite saved my iPad 2. Safari was freezing all the time and I was going to buy another tablet. Then I downloaded PrivateBrowsingWhite and it works perfect. But the problem is with their paid pro version there are still ads. I will change this to five stars if they remove the ads.

I would give it 5 Stars but u can’t go back like when u click a link ur stuck there is no back button and I would like PrivateBrowsingWhite way more if it gave u the option to have more then 1 tab opened so u can go back and forth if they fix these two things PrivateBrowsingWhite will be great

I still see the SavySoda ad on home screen and some ads below it. Also, touch ID dialog keeps popping up even after Thumb Authentication (not a problem with free version).

*Update: Ads below the search engine on home page seem to have disappeared now after I reinstalled PrivateBrowsingWhite several times with and/or without the free version (tried all combinations).

Seriously what’s up with that. Could have saved myself $3 by staying with the free version. Why say it’s ad free and then show ads anyway. If not for that it’s an excellent app. and would get 5 stars. If you are going to lie to me then you get one star.

I have used this many times when it comes to searching for some issues that I don't want my kids to find out specially the delicate topics. I like that it never saves anything at all. Thank you so much for creating this!!!!

I was excited but a bit dubious initially. I'm so tired of getting ads plastered all over when ofttimes it's research for studies or just want more info about something read or being nosy about. What I really despise are the hits when I research items for kids or even the next plan to travel. Thank you!

I was tired of all the browser keeping and sharing all your information. This one is the exact opposite....it erases everything if you close it on top of that...

I have an old I-pad with a browser that is so slow that it was impossible to work through various websites to complete the simplest of functions. NOW... Things have changed... My 5.0 iOS aging I-pad is now back in the "fast" lane!

Latest update removed the + icon from the controls, so unable to save new bookmarks. Please fix! Thanks! Also, no new “most recent” feedback visible for PrivateBrowsingWhite since October 29, 2021.

Sleek, smooth, fast. Is not bloated with extra features like the more popular browsers. Simply does its job and provides excellent privacy.

If you want private, this is your browser. Some glitches playing video from some sites still exist and the browser shuts down, but overall worth a download.

One reviewer mentioned that PrivateBrowsingWhite has changed and is opening to the last page you were on. That would be bad. My experience (just tested it again) is that that is NOT the case; it comes up blank every time. For confidential work, that's what you want. They don't appear to track anything, as far as I can tell and navigating back works only while you're in a session. That's good enough for me, compared to Chrome, which not only tracks, but analyzes and sends you ads that match words in your personal emails. I like having this option of privacy and PrivateBrowsingWhite does the job for me.

I always though when you found something better you should switch. I may not be for you but if you give it a chance as I did you may like it better and switch to it as I did..

Private browsing works as expected and nothing is saved for another browsing session. Simple and multiple browsing windows sessions. Easy to understand that you are done. Close PrivateBrowsingWhite or switch to another app, you will return to the homepage.
