AVOID - INCREDIBLY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Got the ‘lite’ app and saw a banner telling me it was on sale for 1.99. So I decided to get it but instead was charged the full price. Wrote the developer thinking he’d honor the special price since it’s his mistake he didn’t remove the banner. But oh no, I’ve never experienced this before, by the way. His answer was something like “tough, deal with it.” I swear this is the first time ever I’ve gotten a response like this. Usually vendors honor discount when they make the mistake of continuing to advertise a special. This guy obviously isn’t interested in growing his business. Thus, I wasted my money because now I have to delete this crap app. I cannot keep using an app from someone who goes out of his way to be rude. I recommend you AVOID.

I have been using the lite version of the app for several months, and it is really good. It reads the cards correctly about 80% of the time. I needed to export my contacts, which they say the Pro version of the app can do. I paid the fee for the Pro version, and it did not work. It says it can export to excel or outlook. I tried dozens of times and it didn’t work. It said it had worked, but the exported file was nowhere to be found. When I reached out to their support team, they were no help. Sent a video of exactly what I had already tried multiple times, but offered no other solution. In fact they told me that no other customer has had this issue. I guess they’re calling me a liar? Very poor customer service. Do not pay for the Pro version.
One of the better one, but far from perfect

I have tried several biz card reader apps today, this one has been the only one (what a surprise!) can actually read the company name from the card which I used for testing. The problem with this one is the OCR created a lot of spelling errors. The lighting condition has to be very bright when you scan the card, and you have to make sure to let the card fill up the photo area. I assume it is that the imaging processing/OCR part of this app does not set the contrast and resolution correctly. If they can solve this problem, I can give it a 5 Star rating.
