ABC Alphabet Phonics - Preschool Game for Kids Reviews

I NEVER leave app reviews, I just delete them and ignore them. However, my 5 year old failed PreK a few times, and never learned to identify even one letter. With the pandemic we began homeschooling. I ran into ABCAlphabetPhonics after many frustrating sessions with her trying to teach her-where she would just forget the letter we were working on 5 minutes later. She has brain damage and low IQ. 5 days into ABCAlphabetPhonics using 15 minutes a day and she can identify SEVEN letters on her own! SEVEN! Two years of special education & she couldn’t even do ONE. I’d love to see more added to this on a separate app for sounds. This is my daughters saving grace right now. Thank you!

This is a wonderful app with so many options to make the letters more fun and appealing to kids. I also love that the multiple options allow you to go from teaching the plain letters to being able generalize them with embellishments. I also love the option which will just do the sounds if you're trying to focus on phonics. Another awesome feature is the min and max options for the number of choices presented. You can start with 1 letter for error free learning and then move to a larger field of choices to make the tasks more complicated. As a special educator this is the perfect app for teaching and assessing letter identification!

I got ABCAlphabetPhonics years ago for my daughter on a different device with a different cloud address. We loved it for her so much and I wanted to get it for my son on a newer device and I can’t record. As soon as I touch the record button it closes ABCAlphabetPhonics down. It was so cute recording my daughter’s voice when she was a tot for the lower case letters and my voice for the upper case letters. I wanted to do the same with his voice, because it was a great way to have her memorize the letters and sounds. I will keep testing it out on occasion to see if it was fixed or check for updates and hopefully they will have fixed the bug.

Great app! I do wish that there was a way to get rid of the Preview letter at the top. It doesn’t take long for the child to pick up on the fact that that is the answer every time

ABCAlphabetPhonics doesn’t have pop-up ads which is a must for babies’ app. It’s great to teach alphabets to babies.
The only problem is my baby loves loud sound it makes for wrong answer so, she plays with wrong answers before finally choosing the right answer.

Edit: I turned off sound for errors on settings.

I wish I could reply to everyone who had this problem! I thought the sound was broken—- turns out if you have your ringer turned off, it turns the sound off in ABCAlphabetPhonics 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m glad I finally figured it out after cussing for several minutes 🤣🤣

I thought it looked pretty good clear picture great. But I couldn’t hear anything. My sound was on high and I checked the settings where you can turn the sound on and off and it still didn’t work. Not sure what happened hopefully it gets fixed it doesn’t seem to be a bad app.

My grandkids love ABCAlphabetPhonics on my iPad. They are 4,3 and 2 years old. I previously could customize it with my own pictures and sounds. Now every time I try to record a sound to go with a picture ABCAlphabetPhonics crashes. SAD!! This was seriously the best app i found for my grandkids and I could customize it to suit their ages and interests. I would have gladly paid for ABCAlphabetPhonics. Too bad I can't find one like it. I just spent hours taking photos of scenes from my grandkids favorite movies. What a waste !! VERY SAD!!

This is a very awesome app my granddaughter really likes it but today for the first time we’re having trouble with the sound! I turn my iPhone off and on and it still not giving me any sound… Help!

Love these apps. Helps my special needs son tremendously. Love there is no need for internet connectivity nor in app subscriptions. Have used these apps for a long time still my faves. Thanks!

I love ABCAlphabetPhonics for my 3 year old. I love how it has different levels for her to learn with like upper case, lower case then the phonics sounds. We will use this for a year! She loves the praises it gives when she gets the answer right. Great app for a child just learning letters and sounds.

My 2 yr old has mastered his uppercase alphabet with the help of your app but I can't change settings, view more apps or anything. My child needs to learn lowercase letters also but I cannot change the settings or even find out if this option is available because the 3 finger touch parental unlock doesn't work.

ABCAlphabetPhonics works well, but the phonics game is missing some letters. There is presumably an option to add them yourself, but ABCAlphabetPhonics crashes every time I try to record the audio. If they could fix that part it would be perfect. Too bad they have stopped updating ABCAlphabetPhonics.

My child is learning his letters in a fun way! I insist all should download. Amazing how you can change letters, to phonics right in the settings! I hop your business continues!

Can’t exit in iphone x

No sound. So, I tried to add customized sound, and ABCAlphabetPhonics crashed. Too bad, this looked like it would have been very useful!

This is not phonics! They are saying the name of the letter and asking children to identify. That is not phonics!!!!! Phonics is saying the sound the letter makes and asking children to identify - many letters have more than one sound - such as long and short vowels. Phonics help kids learn to read. ABCAlphabetPhonics helps kid identify letters based on their names.

We have sound now!!! My 2 year old LOVES ABCAlphabetPhonics!

The game seems useless if you can’t record any sounds and every time I press record it crashes. Unless I can figure out how to keep it from crashing to record, ABCAlphabetPhonics is completely worthless and will be deleted upon sending this review.

ABCAlphabetPhonics is pretty useless when it doesn’t provide sound for the child to actually know what they are supposed to be tapping on. I checked the settings on my phone, ABCAlphabetPhonics , and rebooted both, and still nothing. Deleted it.

Love the parental controls to focus on what teacher needs!! Fun interface with kids!

Game seems great but without sound very difficult. Not sure why sound is on in the settings but not working :(

Great for learning the ABC with our toddler. He claps and shouts when he choose the correct letter. Thanks!
