This app is actually terrible. Aside from not being able to disable the sports notifications, the sequence of news is awful. When trying to find news that’s not considered a “top story,” it’s nearly impossible. For example, when news broke about a missing child, the entire Top Stories page was full of repeat articles and information with no real updates and there was no way to pull the news about other important things happening in the area simultaneously (shootings, accidents, school lockdowns). I love watching Actions News Jax on TV, but this news app is a poor attempt at keeping the public up to date on local news. It would be nice if a search bar were integrated into the app. Additionally, grammatical errors and typos are extremely common in their articles. The design of the app is also very choppy. Major updating is needed.

I’m sick of the biased reporting that I’ve been getting out a CBS channel 47. Between Gayle King in the morning and Nora O’Donald in the evening all they need is a gas can in a match because all they are is fire starters. You don’t know if I’m black or if I’m white but I am just sick to death of your station and so are a lot of my friends here in Saint Augustine. It would be nice if you didn’t make it so obvious how left you all are. I’m not the only one that’s noticing

I can’t stand this app. I prefer it for my local news but the alerts never redirect to the actual story on the app. And then you spend forever searching for the story to match the very important alert until you forget what you were even looking for. Please update this app. Check out some other new outlets and see what they’re doing. Thank you.
