Rain Alarm Pro Weather Radar Reviews

First of all I love RainAlarmProWeatherRadar, had it for a long time. Actually for years was the only rain app I used. Lately I’m not been having any rain alerts come through. Not sure what’s happening. I’m up to date with the updates but in the past few months I’ve had to get other apps that works really well with the rain and I continue checking this one but no alerts come through! Recently in the past few months it’s our rainy season and haven’t received any alerts for a long time. It’s presently been raining for hours here now and I haven’t received an alert yet. Last couple weeks it’s poured torrents here and no alerts. I’m a cyclist and depend on these rain alerts. This use to be my trusted alert app even bought the xt one, seems like I’ve had worst service since I got it. Hopefully something will be fixed. Still when it was working was a great alert. Thanks

Have RainAlarmProWeatherRadar and tell everyone about it. My entire family uses it to know about rain and when it’s coming. We live in Florida and it can rain at a moments notice during the summer months. RainAlarmProWeatherRadar is invaluable.

I really wish the Apple Watch component loaded the map correctly. This has stopped working. I have added the complication and that seems to fail to stay updated too.

Got the original version when it first appeared years ago. It's only gotten better since day 1. Loved it then and love it now. Aside from the obvious, it's great for deciding when to let the dogs out! I hear the alarm and out they go before the rain arrives on my doorstep.

I can't remember how I came across RainAlarmProWeatherRadar, but I am glad I did. With my current settings, I get about a 30 minute warning of any rain. Works perfectly about 90% of the time, barring anything that clears up quickly as the weather tends to do. I love RainAlarmProWeatherRadar so much that I paid for the ad free version.

I previously gave RainAlarmProWeatherRadar 5 stars, but in this new version, it keeps "zooming out" whenever you update or open RainAlarmProWeatherRadar . This is incredibly annoying and inefficient. In previous versions, the map size stayed "zoomed in" as you liked. I hope developer reverts back to this in next update.

I've tried a few others, even bought a few (like Raindropping Pro). Rain Alarm is the only one I've used that is consistently accurate. The settings are a bit confusing, and it would be great to know storm durations, but it does it's main job accurately and consistently.

I also love the thunder sound for alerts :)

I am a contractor in Florida, and RainAlarmProWeatherRadar is a must have. Warns me when weather is going to travel in, and helps to ensure that I can have things packed up in time before it hits. If you enjoy the outdoors and want a warning before you get caught up in some nasty weather, or like me, working in the out doors and need something to warn you before the sky's let use this is what you need.

RainAlarmProWeatherRadar shows different colors representing the amount or intensity of rain. I had questions about the program and contacted the "owner". Within 20 minutes they responded to my questions and resolved them. Excellent CustomerService. They may out a manual describing all of the features. I use a lightning & radar program and this one is great because it shows the "amount" of rain in my area. So far, I like RainAlarmProWeatherRadar ;-)

RainAlarm has been one of my favorite apps for the past few months. After discovering the RainAlarm Win 7 desktop gadget and Firefox/Chrome browser extensions, I decided to get the Extended version for my iPhone in order to support this developer.

RainAlarm Extended improves upon the free version by allowing for more precise customization. For me, the best feature has to be the ability to turn RainAlarmProWeatherRadar off for a specified period of time. At night, I dock my phone to an iPhone compatible clock radio and I only need my severe weather alert apps waking me up.

If you live in a precipitation-heavy place I highly recommend RainAlarmProWeatherRadar. It is consistently accurate and has never crashed.

I support what this developer is doing and can't wait to see how he continues to integrate the RainAlarm concept into more aspects of my life!

A useful app that collects radar weather feeds and uses it to prompt users of possible precipitation. RainAlarmProWeatherRadar needs not be active for it to work. It uses ur last know location or a fixed location and the server sends out notifications to your phone. Accuracy is good because it uses actual read-outs from radar instead of feeds from weather forecasts. U can set a custom radius, sensitivity and some other options.
RainAlarmProWeatherRadar is useful for users in Brunei and Malaysia especially because of the lack of good weather prediction.
My guess its price is based on cost of radar feeds that also determines its region of use. This is an ideal app for bikers to not only warn of impending showers but also predict weather along our routes.

I’ve be been using RainAlarmProWeatherRadar for years. There are many copycats but this one is still the best. The watch app is the best too. Thanks for the zoom change.

I have had several rain events this month and got no alarms from RainAlarmProWeatherRadar. I checked all the settings and nothing has changed. UPDATE: RainAlarmProWeatherRadar started working with no changes to the settings.

I work in the aviation industry and use the free app to make decisions at work-related over the past 3 years. It is intuitive and accurate, helping me make great estimates for the day: such as flight recalls and even holiday plans at Disneyland Tokyo.
I've purchased full version to show my support.

Have been using rain alarm after reading about it on Reddit and recently upgraded to pro. Very useful app especially in places which isn’t as well covered by the Apple weather app alerts

the new sound of lightning was better I do not like the sound but had heard more real please put an option where one can choose the sound thanks
