Not what the quality that I've come to expect from Halfbrick. Things that need to be fixed: Respawn should make sure there will be a platform under you (I've re spawned before and have immediately died again due to this issue), Possible invincibility frames after a hit from the green gas, Slower pace incline (this is just my opinion), and Enemies not spawning extremely close to you (this happens way too often).

I remember as a kid playing the old game and enjoying it. I was excited to hear about the new update, but when I saw the art I just knew it was too different. Honestly just remove this game and put whatever this is up as a totally different one. Some mechanics changed and the art-style has gotten significantly worse. I would no longer call this the same as what it used to be.

I used to LOVE this game years ago I played it like all day everyday and I was so sad when it got taken away so much so that I would randomly come back and check to see if maybe they’d bring it back one day. Finally today I see they did and it is so different in the worst way. First of all the graphics are so ugly the old design was way cooler and more of an arcade feel now it looks cheap if that makes sense. Another thing too is that it moves ridiculously fast. Too fast to the point where you can’t even enjoy the monster environments and it’s almost impossible to even play because of how fast you move there’s no time to even shoot the monsters. This was one of those times where the past should’ve stayed in the past. :/ wish they’d go back to the original

At first, I was so happy you brought this game back, but the voiceover is cringey and the look is bad. Bring back the original please :( Also, the game speeds up too quickly. At 3,000 meters, I can’t even see the monsters, spikes, or gaps. It’s so fast, I can’t even shoot. BRING. IT. BACK. PLEASE. Reading the other comments, I say you guys are outnumbered, halfbrick...

Why did you have to ruin this game the old graphics were fine this game was my childhood it was the best game ever but now you had to ruin something you couldn’t have oh I dunno kept the graphics as it used to be or you could’ve added an opinion to switch in between the graphics or something why...you did not have to do this.

This game used to be really great and have lots of things. I was really happy when halfbrick updated it. They updated the graphics and added costumes which is good. But they removed the whole system for the collectible gems that gave you small bonuses, they removed rainbow cheeks, they removed the thing where if you fall off after reviving or the bike getting destroyed it puts you back up which is infuriating because on the levels where you have to drive a motorcycle a certain distance the bike keeps running out of fuel and when it explodes it sends me off the edge. And even when I revive it can still send me off the edge which wastes like 30 seconds of my time. I also don’t like the new art style I really wish they did one similar to Jetpack joyride, they also increased the price of the sword and even if you bought it before your money was wasted because you don’t have it anymore. That pretty much sums up what I think about the new update about the game.

This was my favorite game before it was taken down a few years ago. Was thrilled when it was brought back to MonsterDash Store and with a Refreshed look!
But my progress in the old game did not transfer over and I have connection problems to my Game Center. Also instead of earning stuff with gold, like magnetic Berry, extended mags for guns and such. It looks like you need to purchase them all separately with real currency, (or watch a 40 second ad, before EVERY game) I don’t want to buy my character I want to build a character.
Still holding onto hope that it gets better, but just seems like a cheap cash grab unfortunately ☹️

Also the spawning and pace of the game is way to fast. Sometimes monster pop up right beneath me and take a heart. Also the downward heavy landing move isn’t reliable. It sometimes activates after my second jump and I land in traps or in pits.
No forgiveness on landings either, jumping a pit perfectly takes a heart. Meaning you need to land further behind a pit instead of asap.
As I keep playing it gets impossible to pass different stages even with bronze.
I am so sad that this game blows. Holding onto hope that it gets a third chance

I love this game a lot and when they released the ghostbusters update, (while there were aspects of it that I like) it took a very simple arcade style game and made it too complicated for the type of game it was.
This update is basically that but taken a lot farther, the new character and monster designs just don’t work as well as the old ones and it just kinda makes me sad.
At least they could’ve made Barry look like he does in Jetpack. Or at least put a retro Barry skin in the shop.

i used to have this game on my old ipad, then i missed it and download it again, but it suprised me when you changed the graphics.

I love this game and I remember playing it the very first day it’s release it’s been forever since I’ve seen this game and I was looking forward to seeing it it’s been a while but now that I finally have the game installed and playing itAnd it’s still has some key elements from the first game although I do have a couple of complaints the first complaint is simply the graphics I think I speak for most when I say that the older graphics are far more superior than today’s graphics and some of these costumes areCrazy expensive a Grim Reaper costume is 4,99 I’m sorry but I don’t see a costume being 4,99+ a sword for a weapon this game is good I really really really enjoy it it’s just somethings need to be changed but I think One major change needs to be the graphics

Barry looks a bit dumb now in my opinion, I liked the older look of the game better really. The whole game looked better when it looked akin to Jetpack joyride instead of what it is now, still a good game overall though

I loved this game when I was younger and I am glad to see it back but I would like to see the older version of graphics of the game because Barry in my opinion looks weird with this new model

I really like this game. The trophies are easy to get and you spend mostly coins instead of actual money. The downside is the controls are little hard to navigate. In the overall I would install 👍🎮

This game is by far the best, the only reason why i give it a 4 Stars is because since the graphics have gotten better, its not the nostalgia old graphics i wanted from when i was younger, & The Ghostbusters Level mashup was amazing and was one of the main reasons i came back to this game. Other than that, this game is great!

As much as i like the game, the old graphics were better, for the yetis and mummies at least. And for Barry. I think you should revert back to that style and maybe bring back the Ghostbusters thing.

For another event thing, do a Stranger Things event with demogorgons

Bring back colossatron it was one of my favorite games maybe it wasn’t bringing in money as much as jetpack but if you could just give it a second chance I would be happy and I’m pretty sure other people will be too

I am just so happy to be able to see this game back on the apple store. Halfbrick studios is the best at making the best games for iphones without a doubt. Bring Age of Zombies back with controller support please!!!!
