iWatermark worked great-on the first 3 photos that I watermarked. It came highly recommended in a social media branding course I recently completed.

After that, it just had this massive lag when you click “select photo” to watermark. Let me be more specific-lags of 72 seconds, 84 seconds, and 91 seconds on three different tries. Many times, iWatermark quits after you select multiple photos to batch watermark. I’m still dealing with tech support who ask me “why are you using such an old version of iOS?” And I have the latest version! My colleague spent the $4 on the + version instead-I didn’t realize there were different versions-and it has worked seemlessly for her. I wonder if this is the case of both a bug free version ($4) and the version I bought being available.

I have been using this app for easily 11 years with no problems. I used to be able to select what photos I gave permission to access, the few I want to watermark every once in awhile. Tonight, I open iWatermark and it tries to force me to allow access to my ENTIRE 10,000+ photos and videos. No flippin way will I ever allow any app to have access to my entire photo & video library. What a shame. this app used to be so simple and awesome.

They make it extremely difficult to find contact information. I JUST purchased iWatermark, and it's terrible. The graphic watermark somewhat works, but it doesn't let me use a transparent graphic to watermark my photos. It only lets me lessen the opacity, which makes no difference. After doing a single batch watermark, every photo I add becomes blurry as soon as I want to select it. There are better watermark apps i'm sure. I should have followed the reviews. Wasted my time and money.

OK guys. I bought into upgrading it and the bundle having used this app and I have now gone to include the I this app+ (+); now it’s doing nothing but crashing as it opens. It used to crash intermittently... now it’s unusable. The newer “blue” version has some utilitarian functions but it’s lacking some of the original which I rely on. Particularly for copywriting my material. So he just spent money on something we are 1/3 of it has become completely useless. I was relying heavily on your product but I may just want to insist on
The good old-fashion “money back” and move on to something else.

This was one of the best watermark apps on the market when it works. It crashes a lot and uploading batch (multiple) phones iWatermark crashes causing you to waste a lot of time reloading. After paying for $4.99 again I feel like I’ve been robbed. They want me to pay for another update! Smh Updates should be FREE for customers who have paid. This is about the 3rd time they have done this. They create a “new app” and force you to upgrade. After a recent update I have stopped using iWatermark now forces you to select all photographs and gives iWatermark access to all photos and videos on your phone previously you had an option to select the photos you want it to use on iWatermark . I am not comfortable granting any app for access to my device in all of my photographs and videos. I do not appreciate that option no longer being available especially after paying for iWatermark . I wish I could be refunded.

Paid for the plus version on my iPhone7 and it worked great. Upgraded to iPhone XR, signed back in to iWatermark , had to recreate the watermark and used the same png file. The background is not clear. I have checked it over and over to make sure it’s .png and it is and is from the very same source I used previously.

Paid another 1.99 to try to basic version to test it and the background is still white instead of clear.

Most upsetting is that I’ve already submitted the form for customer support as I’ve now paid nearly $7 for an unusable app.

I previously paid for ($1.99) and reviewed iWatermark 5 years ago and TODAY I received a response saying I'm using a 5yr old version, which I'm not as this one shows it was updated a month ago. They said I should "update" and consider updating my review. Turns out they really meant, BUY the upgrade which is in a $4.99 bundle and it's a different app entirely. In other responses to old reviews here, they somehow blame Apple for this. All the other apps I've paid for get updates that are free, and I've never received such a roundabout way to try to get me to pay more and update my review. So here it is, updated with 1 less star for not being straightforward.

I am a United States Marine; Honor cannot be taken from you; you are given honor at birth, the only way to lose your Honor is to give it away. However, once you give it away you seldom get it back.
Initially this was a decent app. However now the programmer wants their original customers to pay for the new App this app+; therefore, they have made the original version very difficult to use. So difficult that you will not use it. You will either purchase the + version or you will purchase another App from a replicable company. This is the second time this programmer has done this. This is dishonest to make the original app virtually useless, to force your customers to purchase an upgrade that should be free. If you have a NEW APP you should sell it as another name (add a + symbol to the end of the original name is not considered a new name). We paid for iWatermark ; hence, we do not want to go through pages of your marketing ads of your updated version to even get to the original app that we paid for. Is that not the reason we paid for iWatermark in the first place.
Put the original version back to the way it once was usable and stop being dishonest.

I really like iWatermark when it works. The problem is it works about 60% of the time and only with 1 photo at a time causing way too much time to be frustrated. Otherwise, it crashes, so frustrating!! I am currently looking for a different option. The biggest complaint I have is that it crashes so much of the time when “loading” photos and works when “uploading”, even when trying with only one photo! I am sooo over it! Time to get it together programmers.

I didn’t realize when I bought this that none of the watermark options allow you to insert text. They’re all preset and non customizable, so nothing to link the watermark directly to you. This negates the whole point of a watermark. Very disappointed and money wasted. If you want a watermark that identifies that a photo belongs to you, don’t waste your money on this one. Very disappointing!

Every time I try to open multiple pictures to watermark them at the same time, iWatermark crashes, even when choosing only 2. It’s very time consuming to watermark one picture at a time. Guess I’ll just have to use gold old Photoshop. It’s too bad because I like using iWatermark because it’s a quick way to watermark before posting on social media but not good when trying to do several pictures.

I want to love iWatermark, because it works sooooo well for my budding photography business. However, for the amount of times it crashes while trying to do a batch of just 14 photos, I really can't recommend it right now. Even just doing one at a time, I have to prepare myself to load the picture AT LEAST twice before it will stay without crashing.

Bought iWatermark to watermark photos, but with the new update, it crashes every time I try to import a photo. Have restarted my phone, tried uninstalling and reinstalling, made sure the type of photo is compatible with iWatermark . All got checks. Yet, it still crashes. Help!

My rating would be 4.5 if that was an option! I've used the desktop version of this app for a while before getting the mobile app. I appreciate the number of parameters available for creating, customizing, and saving a list of my own watermarks. Batch processing is also a plus. It'd be a 5-star rating if on-the-fly editing aside from repositioning/resizing was an possible. (E.g. You've got several images queued up, but they need a different color or opacity watermark...so you have to create
a new watermark...First World Problems, I know!) Fine...I'll give it 4.75 stars.

Totally crashed. Can’t upload any pics. A message pops up when you try to contact tech support...
“Don’t email us. We’re trying to fix it.” Well...the problem is I can’t post any business pics without a. Watermark. So while you are fixing your dinosaur app I’ll be moving on to something else.

4-9-21: I have updated my review as the bugs have been fixed. It is back to the easy to use watermark app it once was.

I really love iWatermark - it is really easy to use & customize. Just wish you could do 2 watermarks at the same time - you have to do one, save that image then do it all over again for the other. This all ends leaving you with 3 copies of the same pic. Yes I know you can delete the extra but that’s just ONE MORE step.

First I love iWatermark. I did not like the new version. Not as user friendly. When I watermark from my iPad it takes my black and white photo and ads a tint of a purleso I have to go into Photoshop and put it in black-and-white which causes me to do a two step process. Can you fix? Also is there a way to put the watermarks created and saved in alpha order? Thanks

I’ve done a lot more with iWatermark than watermark my jewelry photos (original reason for purchase). On occasion a watermark, used for batches of photos, will miss the mark, but it’s easy enough to go back to originals & individually reposition same watermark, or in some cases create another one. Very rare is the problem, in iWatermark, so it’s earned a 5 from me!

Simple to use. Functional. I have found in the past that some of my images got used on some websites without my permission, so there's a real need to have an app like this.

And as an additional use, it works well to add a title or caption to photos.

The watermarks were easily imported, made more or less opaque, scaled easily, loaded quickly onto hundreds of photos and now hopefully I won't have problems with theft of copyrighted images! Everyone who cares about intellectual property on social media should have iWatermark.

This has been my dependable watermark app for YEARS!! Love it!
*Edited review*....I don't know what happened but right after I left the review it's now completely failing me. It's quitting unexpectedly or not allowing me to watermark more than two photos at a time. Wish I'd never have left a review. I've deleted iWatermark and redownloaded, restarted my phone too. I'm so bummed. If it doesn't start working soon I'll have to find a different app.

iWatermark is awesome! It has saved me so much time now that I have iWatermark. Before owning iWatermark , there were so many steps I had to go through in order to get my logo on my images. I also have small kidlets, so add their interruptions and it seemed like forever to accomplish this task. Now it takes less than 2 minutes and I do this from anywhere anytime!! Thank you this app!!!
