I don’t know why they have an app when you can actually do anything with it. The only things you can do is edit the events tab, which is still PAINFULLY slow, and look at something you made on PC. It is possible to add sprites made on another pixel art app, but you can’t edit them or make them png. So, in all, the core functionality of GDevelop is kinda lost in GDevelop . Oh, and DO NOT try to make a text box. If you make the keyboard pop up, it’s there to stay. Forever.

Well I paid full price for the year subscription to this app and so far I am very disappointed. GDevelop will freeze you out every time you go to use the assets you spent real money on. So the exact thing you are spending money to receive is the area of GDevelop that doesn’t work. I cannot give all bad news as portions of my game actually work. Perhaps it is because I use a tablet instead of an actual computer, whatever the case the disappointment in knowing I am only able to be half way successful at developing video games just frustrates me to no end. I give this app 1 star until they can fix these glitches. I don’t see how you can make an app that boasts about how easy it is to make games on it, but GDevelop designers couldn’t make an app that correctly works. Very ironic and unsatisfying.

First of all I thought this was some premium thing that wouldn’t affect me if I didn’t have it. But the premium in GDevelop is the worst kind of premium to exist. Because when i was building my level i tried to insert a button but then it kept sending me to the premium page. So what I’m asking for is that you make the premium only allow access to new stuff not making you have to pay to add stuff.

Just get it on pc it will run smoothly for only a short time on the tablet

Expect lots of errors that you don’t get on pc, expect GDevelop to crash regularly and loose unsaved progress I don’t believe I have gone longer than 2 hours without a crash, expect imported assets or even assets purchased through GDevelop to spontaneously become corrupted and corrupt the entire scene in turn. I gave up trying to create on mobile after I had a scene get corrupted an need to be completely redone for the third time in a day.

I love seeing this app has an app but either it’s not ready or tablets aren’t quite ready yet.

I went on this app to make a game for someone’s birthday. When I decided to change the character and went on the asset store,it just took me back to the Home Screen and didn’t even save my stuff. Im a mobile user and I’m not sure if that’s the case but whatever it is I can’t get my birthday gift or “game” finished because of this bug. I hope you find out what’s wrong and fix it. And I saw another reviewer talk about how some stuff isn’t free. I agree because when I’m trying to put in a new text I have to pay for a subscription! I understand your a small business but maybe you could add a feature like, 5 silvers a day or at least a daily rewards chart. For example, Day 1 you get 2 silvers and Day 2 you get 4 silvers. I, myself is kind of a noobie at making games and all I need to do is change my character but it just takes me to the Home Screen every. single. time! If you can, please fix this.

I wanted to make my own games so I found this game and it is complicated but the tutorials are amazing! But when I go to the tutorials after making a game it doesn’t save because I have to make an account. I think you guys should change that. I don’t want to make an account and that annoying stuff. PLEASE CHANGE THIS NONSENSE!

I use to use this app and I was allowed to have at least ten projects at a time so WHY DID YOU MAKE IT ONE it is so annoying for everyone without a subscription and I absolutely hate that feature and there’s a bug which makes copying stuff from your own projects impossible for mobile. If you could change or fix any of this please do I just want to be able to make my own projects.

Whenever I’m in the middle of working on a project, it just crashes and takes me to the this app Home Screen. If I haven’t saved the project then, it would restart all of my progress. Very frustrating for making high quality games you spend a lot of time on, but other than that it’s an amazing no programming app, and I really recommend it.

I absolutely love GDevelop, but one thing that really annoys me as a pixel artist is that I can’t make my own sprites without a white outline because I use a screenshot, something that I’d really like is a menu where you can create art/3d models

Mostly you would have this on an iPad or computer. But it does not have the same spice as that for iPhone users, so here’s a list of things that could be improved for every mobile device-Ps I know off topic, but not the point.

1- If you are not signed in then every few minutes you have to save. Actually that brings me to number

2- You can’t save, you just can’t save you think that, oh I can use this app cloud but you CAN’T! Fix this please.

3- No Pixcel? I don’t understand why can’t you use Pixcel. I can use other software just fine on mobile especially on an IPad but why not here put it in ok?

And then! Well my point is I can list a few more but this is getting too long so bye and have a good day or night.

Hey I just got GDevelop and it was amazing! It was all I want for! However I do have something that I don’t like so much that it made me uninstall: Crashes and the subscription. When I was trying to make a game, it kept on crashing a lot. It only stopped when I reached the limit of making games EVEN THOUGH I checked to see if my saved games were there… they weren’t there! And for some reason it counted as me making 3 games! I thought it wouldn’t count unless i published the game but I guess not… and by the way, the subscription was the final nail in the coffin. Sure you guys need the money I know but making a limit for how many games you could only make is just not my type of a company.

But I could only enjoy GDevelop if you guys at GDeveloper would do this:

Remove/Rework the limit

Try to fix the crashes (Im a mobile user)

That’s it, that’s all I want from you guys! GDevelop really has potential but you’re just a few steps away! Thank you!

I would like to be able to set the FPS less than ten in animation please
I’m still getting used to this app and I’m making a game with a lil dinosaur looking creature and I know have some animation skills and I would like FPS to be able to be set less then, or at less let the time be less then 0.60 something ^^ please and thank you! GDevelop is really cool and I hope I will make my wonderful game with it!

I put it five stars so you would see. EVERY TIME I TRY TO MAKE A GAME I CREATE THE GAME AND EVERYTHING IS GOING WELL UNTIL MY SCREEN TURNS WHITE AND BRINGS ME BACK TO THE TUTORIAL MENU. And the worst part when I go back in the game everything I did. All the hard work of making that game. Was gone. If I click manual save or this app save it doesn’t matter it doesn’t save at all. And this happened when I tried recreating Road Crosser. FIX THIS😡😡😭

I have used this app on the browser for quite a long time and have made quite a few games with it (and some apps like a portfolio, dosent need to be used as a game engine) and I have always loved it, even the random changes that I need to adapt to. The mobile version seems great, I personally have only done small adjustments to my games on the go with it, but that’s not an app problem, I would though love to see a UI scale slider, and for the game to open up in a full screen iframe instead of a weird pop up window that cuts of some of the usable area, last thing, when moving around the editor area (the place where you move the sprites) gets kinda laggy when moving around (for refrance I am on a iPhone SE 2022)

I released my first game "In Transit" which i built with the this app engine. There are many resources online including a growing number of extensions to use to build the game of your dreams!

I cant recommend this engine more for solodevs, very happy to now have it on my ipad. Just in time for my next mobile game!

Ok so when I got in the tutorial was Really long and it was really hard cuz when I tried to type something in when I clicked a button after it would make me type in the thing again and after I typed it in like 5 times then it would let me click buttons and after that I deleted the game immediately and I only gave this 5 stars so it would pop up on the front page it really deserves like a 3

About a week ago I decided on a whim to research if there are any mobile game development apps in existence. My hopes weren’t super high. Then this app came along and exceeded my expectations. I absolutely love it so far. The ability to create a fully featured game on my phone is above and beyond what I expected, and it’s helping me to create a digital version of my card game, MiniSteel. This is something I’ve always wanted to do, but never had the resources or programming skills to achieve it. this app nails it for me so far. Would it be nice to be able to create a handful of projects with the free version, yes, but this is honestly great and I have no real complaints. Sincerely, thank you for GDevelop!

Whenever I am making a game the screen goes white and takes me to home screen but overall it’s good

this app makes it easy for anyone to create a game. It is powerful enough to build almost any game you can imagine. I especially love using the built in physics engine in my games.

This game is so cool and fun I could play this forever if I had the time too good job whoever made this thank you so much this is my favorite game in the world thanks
