Is it just me or does it not let you put your phone number is

I’ve uninstalled the app and re-downloaded it at least twice now. Every time I try to get past the first part where you put your phone number it, it doesn’t let me move on to the next page. I press “next” and it shows a small loading screen, then it disappears and I’m still on the same page. I tried manually putting in my phone number, autofill, and I even tried putting in my boyfriends number to see if it was just my phone number that won’t work, but no matter what I do, I can’t get past the first page!! Is it just a me problem??

I thought this would be a very fun app for my best friend and I to use, however I couldn't even open the app. When you first download it, it brings you to a mimic of the lock screen on an iPhone. You click a button reading "add my lock screen widget" which I did
Next you have to put in your phone number.
This is where I ran into the issues. I have tried multiple times, including deleting and redownloading the app. I put in my phone number, the hit the button reading "next" and a little loading symbol appears next to my entered phone number. Then, nothing happens. No matter how many times I hit the "next" button, if I'm connected to wifi or not it does not work. I hope the fix this issue
