There’s no where to contact you customer service so the is my only option… stop trying to charge my card. I selected the 3 free day trial and you tried to charge my card 6.99 3 times, and 2 more times later on. So please stop trying to charge my credit card. Thank you and have a great day!

No idea how ScanQRCode was installed on my cell, never wanted it never used it but now get billed every single week $6.99 have attempted several time to cancel, dispute or stop with no success. This is a scam app, don’t use it

App description says it is free, I downloaded and then it was automatically a subscription of $9.99 after a the trial.
Do not deceive people.. if it is not free, don’t say it is!

I was charged $9.99 automatically even though I never subscribed to it. $9.99 a week??? I read their replies to people's complaints below saying "go to the Settings > Profile > Subscriptions tab on your phone, and you can modify your plan from there." In the subscription tab, you cannot "modify the plan" to cancel/stop the subscription, period. Beware!

It didn’t tell me about no subscription or have me sign anything then it takes $10 from my account and it keeps taking money out drained my account and over drafted it

ScanQRCode is a total scam. Without taking our consent or permission, ScanQRCode started automatically put us in subscription and started charging 9.99$ per week. Wow that is so expensive.. how come? Apple must take strong action against ScanQRCode.

I give this one because they cheat you out of your money and they keep trying to charge you long after you have deleted ScanQRCode

ScanQRCode was making in authorized subscription changes.

Sets itself up as a subscription to your AppleID. No icon appears on your screen. Was charged 9.99 per week. Luckily canceled after about 10 days.

Oh come on why not join in with the real humans and not charge anything I would give you a five star rating only if I could see this scanner in action but no can do because of the recession going around and everyone going homeless like myself most of US real Americans shouldn’t have the need to pay anything gosh just for thought now if I had not mentioned that iam an American citizen perhaps I would had been given a grant if I said im from another country ? I was subscribing to a free app, and as I downloaded it, it was a free trial for two weeks and then 999 a month which I did not pursue I canceled everything. In the meantime they charge me 999+ tax without me consent to it. very poor..

I have tried to cancel my free subscription but apparently it can’t be done.

There is no path to make a cancellation - either thru their website or thru Apple or email. I even tried calling their Cayman telephone number but the person who answered only spoke in gibberish.

If you like their product, that’s fine. If you don’t, you could be paying $10 per week.

I'm pretty sure this is a Chinese attempt to get into your info! We're looking for a APP to operate the cameras we bought online. ScanQRCode allowed that--then the next time I went to it (to try to determine why the cameras don't work...) ScanQRCode wanted access to searches, help in "improving ScanQRCode and products , etc. Cheep cameras apparently lead to access to your smartphone to operate the cameras!

I'm giving up on the six safety cameras I bot for $120. And the wasted purchase price. 🤨

You’re selling products to Americans and all of your directions are in Chinese!?
Then there’s an ad that Google can’t close to download, and seems like it is needed to install the cameras…the download is free, but after 3 days you are charged $6.99 per week!??!

So you get no recommendation for this product, and if the ad comes up in my feed I will tell everyone that you are a scam operation, and
there’s no way to connect the cameras to the phone without paying far more than a regular security service like ADT charges as an additional service, which is not even close to I was lead to believe in your advertising.

Reported this to Better Business Bureau- very misleading- and expensive. $9.99 per week to use this expensive little camera. Totally useless to me - I can get this service much cheaper. Shame on you for taking advantage of seniors and disabled one at that!

So it says that by downloading ScanQRCode I’m giving you permission to track everything I do as far as the internet is concerned? Really?? Not going to happen! You track everything I do then sell it to advertisers that inundate me with their ads? Again, not going to happen!!!!

No, thank you. Simple scanner app asking for money along with access to your information. You can find so many free ones without agreeing to provide access to your information.

I did not download ScanQRCode. It’s not visible on my iPhone. The only time I noticed is when I was checking my card charges! Customer service is unhelpful, that’s if you can figure out how to contact them. SHADY APP!!

It might be nice if you mentioned that it does not support 5G ! Plus…. There was nothing to say you had to make a weekly payment! You guys are cheaters, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! Mine are going into the garbage with the hope that I’m a little smarter now! 🤬

I’m 70yo, a retired teacher & I need HELP! PLEASE! Have searched everywhere & can’t find out how to cancel. I’ve read other review responses & tried that, but still can’t cancel. Do not use ScanQRCode!!! I must have downloaded it by mistake and I NEVER USED IT BUT IT CHARGED ME $7 A WEEK! I tried to have it removed and it took two different phone calls to get it taken off my bill. Plus I could only get a small portion of what I paid back. I am so angry!!!!! Who would pay $7 a week for a QR reader?!!!!!! AWFUL!

App ridiculous; charging their customers for use of ScanQRCode. Find another way to make money through commercials or other things. I would not even mind paying $.99. It’s ridiculous,

So I was getting this payments from apple services taking it directly from my PayPal without even asking to suscribe after "a trial" ended, every single week for over a month got charged 6.99 every single week, don’t download this garbage app that puts you on a subscription without asking.

I think it is funny how they never come right out and tell you how much it’s going to cost you you have to look for it why don’t they say right at the start ? Well I know why cause then if you get hooked on it then they think you buy it anyway , me I don’t want to try it if I can’t afford to buy it !

Stay away from ScanQRCode, it’s full of nothing but red flags. Utterly unusable, just like the WhatsApp duo app for Apple Watch. Ugh stay away folks unless you like viruses.

This company tricked my parents into signing up for recurring charges for something their phone already does for free. We are now disputing the charges, save yourself the headache.

This is a scam. Not free. Will charge you $6.99 per month without warning or reminder. Make sure you go to subscriptions and cancel. You can get QR scanning for free.

i couldn’t understand try for free but without a way to stop when it’s no longer free. The no longer free portion is confusing. says free but is it always free or is that portion of ScanQRCode a free mod for the fee.
