BioReading is 100% not worth it. Don’t waste your money on something that you can only translate with. It was more of a hassle to try to use this then actually read the original text and I have ADHD

BioReading is a scam and Apple doesn’t care to take it down or refund your money

I’ve been trying to find an adorable app that reads text to me quickly so that I may finish a school course quicker. This one is the worst one yet. So expensive, don’t waste your time downloading it.

Any activity, even trying to copy/paste the only option available (text) is met with a nag screen to a subscription. I don’t purchase software without testing it.

You are crazy if you think I’ll pay $80 for this.

I paid for the one week subscription. It is a scam. When you upload PDF documents, the formatting is completely useless. I uploaded a 23 page PDF, and it converted it into 131 pages, showing one message of 5 lines on each page. Unreadable. DO NOT BUY THIS.

App doesn't convert PDFs to Bionic Reading like they say it does… simple as that

Very first thing it does is prompt for money without even giving you a chance to trial anything.
Then it only has one option to use after it prompts every click to get you to sub, without even letting you test to see if the supposed features do anything.
Even for a trial this acts more like a fast cash grab scam than a real program.
Not dropping a dime if I can’t even see if it does anything besides what I can copy and paste from a text message. How do I know if it can even read pdf or ebook files?!

I got this to help read, but couldn’t even do one thing with the free version.

BioReading is not worth $8/week. Converted files are so jumbled. Do not buy

Lots of ads. You are not allowed to use anything other than copy text! And only once a day.

I honestly don’t care how useful BioReading is if you can barely use it for free. I do believe some in-app purchases are fair, and some or even most things being locked without paying is fine. If it’s a free app, though, I should be able to convert more than one body of text.

I guess they solved the complaints about the free version by eliminating it, but sticking with their exorbitant fee structure. Companies like this are exploiting disabled people desperate for solutions to survive in an increasingly hostile society. Devs, your greed is just another part of the problem. You are NOT helping disabled people. For shame.

Steep price for an app that requires a lot of manual labor to convert what you want to read to bionic.

Does not work at all even after I decided to try paid version. It is a scam

I had to pay to import an EPUB and when I did it didn’t upload the full book. I tried another book and it didn’t work at all. Reaching out for a refund

Not able to scan books or documents

I don't understand how to use it. Am I supposed to copy and paste anything i want to read into it
