I actually love the game play. But there are ads after literally every level, and sometimes when you open BlockBlast . This completely ruins the game. And the interstitial ads are IN ADDITION to the banner ads they show when you’re playing.

I don’t mind supporting good developers who write great apps, and this game could be great. I wouldn’t mind paying to remove the ads, but I can’t. And some of the ads are over 30 seconds long, and there are a bunch you can’t fast-forward through.

My advice: don’t install this game, despite the fact that it’s a good game. You’ll spend more time looking at ads then you spend actually playing.

Some people don’t know that Apple allows app publishers to simply pay for a higher score in BlockBlast Store than the reviewers give it (BTW one of the main reasons why I will never buy an iPhone again, are you listening Apple?). Sure it has a “4.8 average score” but read the reviews and most people give it one or two stars because it’s not only a simplistic game that gets boring after a few minutes, you have to watch an ad for each of those minutes. Apple is totally fine with publishers using bot accounts to boost scores, and if you just give them a chunk of money they will make the “average score” a 4.8 no matter what the users say.
I should have known, the ad has a line at the bottom that says “creative copy goes here that makes them want to download the game” and BlockBlast store page itself can’t even spell the word “relaxing” correctly. The developers are even stupider than their target market, but they have cash so Apple is happy to let them manipulate us.

The problem with BlockBlast is the INCESSANT number of ads. Between every single level, you have to watch an ad.

If you lose, you watch a 60 second ad.

If you want to revive yourself when you run out of space, they force you to watch an extra long ad where you have to sit through the initial ad, click the X button, watch ANOTHER ad for the same product, click the arrows, wait until a sample of the game play pops up and stare at it for 10-20 seconds before the X appears, click that, then BlockBlast Store link pops up and you have to click “Done”, then you have to wait a good 15 more seconds before the last X button finally appears in the corner and you can continue the level.

Even if you WIN and beat the level, they still force you to watch yet another ad!

I spent maybe 15% of my time on actual gameplay and the rest was watching ads for stupid apps I will now make a point to NOT download out of spite.

The other issue I have with this is that they market it as a “Tetris-style” game, but it’s nothing like Tetris aside from the shape of the blocks. There are literally dozens of other games just like it with different names. Do yourselves a favor, stick with one of the others. BlockBlast is just one giant commercial disguised as a game.

To summarize: false advertising + ad abuse = Block Blast just lost a user.

It seems like a regular game that “randomly” generates satisfying pieces for you to place down to get points. In the beginning you'll think that there’s no way to lose playing this game. That is until you realize the “randomly” generated pieces are causing you to run out of space. Though you are running out of space, you haven't lost yet since the pieces you get are starting to become smaller and fit where you need them to. But then again, the process repeats putting you right back where you started, but this time you lose. Though you lost , there is a button to revive yourself and keep playing. Little do you know, the pieces you are about to get will only make you start to realize that these “randomly” generated pieces are not random, but chose by how your board looks and how filled it is. Then you lose, but since you got so far you will want to beat your high score more and more every time you've lost, which is why you keep coming back. This game leads to insanity, spread the word.

The game itself is ok, the adds are killing it! You are given different shaped pieces that you put together until you fill the row/column. One it’s filled it disappears freeing space for new pieces. It can go forever!

After each fail (when you don’t have enough space on the board to fit the new pieces) an add starts. Each add lasts about 45-60 sec. The worst part is that you have to actually press various buttons to get rid of it. The add for Royal Match lasted about 2 1/2 minutes. After a full 1 minute video and I had to perform the same action over and over again about 8 times! Each time when I would press the ‘x’ or ‘Done’ instead of retuning to the game it would send me to BlockBlast Store.

Finally, after playing for about 1-2 month I deleted the game completely. It turned from a puzzle game into ‘killing the adds’ game.

I loved this game and I was addicted to it. At the bottom there are links that you can accidentally click on and opens them in safari, that didn’t bother me since it’s websites for fixing your credit score or debt relief. Today I was playing the game and I didn’t even touch the bottom and it kept sending these links to safari, I didn’t pay attention because I’ll clear them out later. Thankfully I went and looked prior to my son wanting to look up something on my phone. I see different pages on my phone that were porn sites, and there were several of them. I couldn’t believe that the links at the bottom of the game are for porn sites, kids can play these games!!! I deleted the game since I don’t want my son to want to play the game and sends him to a porn site!!!!

The only way I could do that was if you wanted me too I could come and pick it out and then I would just go ahead with it because I’m not going anywhere else I just want to get it done before you leave so that you don’t get it all done before the weekend and you don’t need to worry and then you could come back later on if that’s the best you could come to the store and I would be happy if I did come home with you but you know that you would be more than welcome and you would have more money for the trip if I could have it I just don’t want you to be here and I would be here to go get it was a lot easier for me and I’m just gonna have you guys to do whatever it would make you feel good luck I don’t care about that too but I’m sorry for being a lot better and I’ll

So..
When I first got the game it was fun but I noticed that the game seemed to conveniently give me the exact pieces I needed to get high scores.
It was kind of fun and just a good break every now and then to play it but what you start noticing is that the game will increasingly do is give you the opposite pieces as to what you need in order to wreck your game but what’s this?
They give you an option to revive your game if you’ll only watch more ads so there’s an incentive for the AI to only let you get so far unless you watch their ads.
Don’t waste your time with this nonsense.
Most of these ad related games are like this.
They either force you to watch awful ads which you never want to see or inject a pay to win element to them.
Now, I’m not against paying for stuff but only if it adds substance to the game which ofc it almost never does it is WAY over priced.
I play Conan exiles and the paid content was always meh when it was priced decently and now that they’ve finally given us some nice content they put it behind a VERY expensive pay wall and it’s just ridiculous.
The stupid thing is that it’s electronic content which means they’d likely generate more revenue if they charged less and could easily charge less and make plenty.
Gaming has just gotten completely ridiculous

hello, my name is bob andrew anderson i feel lied to and distraught this game has brought me mental stress and it has carried into my personal life the advertisement and reason i downloaded this game was a complete sham some might even say it was “cap” i have been lied to as have many others my fellow companions we were told that there would be a rendition of the game that the said blocks would fall as if you were playing the 1987 hit game tetris (all rights reserved) but alas that is not how the game works you instead have to drag and drop the blocks witch is much more difficult in my late age my iphone SE struggles to run the game when i am charging said phone i downloaded this game with nothing but pure glee and excitement but i cannot stand being lied to by the development team the reason i am writing this is to warn others before they get their hopes up and then once the real game is realized to have their dreams crushed and to be sad as me and many other are i will be reverting back to simply playing a game that does not lie to its users as many other mobile games do not lie to their users and are truthful about their gaming experience

I run for my like while it holds a gun to me head then I wake up to see block looking at me I think okay whatever then in it’s hands a rifle I run then the block shoots me then I pass out I’m in the hospital and block was there block was to save me to see who wins the fight I stab him then he turns off the power now I have no oxygen I’m fighting for my life then blocks like here I put power on so I’m running to the hospital bed to plug in and get back oxegen then he unplugs it then doctor comes in block stab doctor then epic fight scene doctor won I was scared doctor had a needle then I remember one apple a day keeps the doctor away so I eat an apple then the universe takes me to a wormhole then I faint I wake up in my bed right before I download this game

I’ve been playing this game for the greater part of 2023 after a friend had suggested it for me. I use a VPN on my phone so I’m not subjected to the insane amount of ads I’m seeing tons of other reviewers being frustrated by. HOWEVER what I realized today is when doing the Adventure side, this game regularly gives you pieces that don’t fit anywhere just to make you lose and have to watch the ads. It doesn’t give you all the pieces you would get on the Classic side (the 3x2 is basically nonexistent in Adventure). AND the game will you the exact same piece over and over and over again in a row. I went back to playing Classic during Thanksgiving and had completely forgotten about certain pieces/shapes because I’d been Adventure for several months. Classic definitely feels more random (*cough* not rigged *cough*) and fair. Deleting BlockBlast.

The game is amazing and for quite a while I’ve been entranced by the game. The fact there was no in app purchase was a breath of fresh air. The ads weren’t terrible and the game time was not to badly affected. However what’s taken place over the last few months is horrible. Minutes of ads repeatedly and obnoxiously. Even if the game play is interrupted with leaving BlockBlast , before play will resume - you guest it Ads!! Horribly multi level, multi screen ads …. The game is just not worth the time it takes away from you while waiting to want to play. Was a great thing killed by what I can only presume is greed. Hope you made a mint. But because of that, for me anyway, your 5 star game gets only 1 star rating. Just my opinion

All games come with advertising, I get it. But BlockBlast has been ay too many and way too long. You have to wait about two minutes to be able to play again. And after a few try’s it got stuck in one of their commercials, I couldn’t get out of there and go back to my game. Definitely uninstalling!!

Its good, its hard to best my highscore but that makes it fun, but ads every second! You lose? Ad, you leave the game and come back? A! AD AD AD AD AD AD AD AD AD! enough is enough!! And it gets annoying, get some new blocks it gets kinda old and i keep getting the same blocks, also if i leave BlockBlast it turns the sound on, i want the sound off it’s annoying

The ads they show on Tik Tok are not of this game. There is nothing that looks like Super Mario Brothers and the pieces don’t rotate. All you can do is place the pieces and you can’t see next. It’s fun for a minute but then needs deleted.

Developers- add in the ability to see next piece, allow pieces to be rotated, make a timer, and then you will have a fun game.

As of right now it’s just an advertisement trap. Every time you die you have to watch a 30 second ad.

I have been playing this game for awhile now and have enjoyed it until today, now all of a sudden it has animations. If I wanted to play a game with animation I would have picked one. It’s the whole reason I got hooked on this one because there wasn’t any. Thanks, I guess now it’s time to delete and find a different game. The very least app developers can do for those of us who don’t like all the animated movements within the game is an option to turn them off.

So I love this game but I have to give it one star
After playing for awhile I noticed my phone was starting to freeze well…..it caused my phone to stop working. I had to drive 45 minutes to an Apple Store because my phone was under warranty thank god!!! So unfortunately I can’t play a game I enjoy. So watch it if your phone starts freezing a lot stop playing. I was playing when my phone went dark. It’s the only time my phone ever did that when I was playing the game.
I’m sorry to the company who made this and I’ll bet I’m not the only one this happened too.

My husband and I love this game! It really is a lot of fun. But we noticed that we started to lose before we started on the next “level”. It’s not a game where you have to put the blocks in the right place each level to move on. Once you become good, it’s about luck. I have lost so many times because there weren’t any moves to be made when the next level started. Didn’t put a single block down, lost because the next three blocks didn’t fit. Or I could fit one of the blocks in only ONE spot, and I lose because there was no other way for me to put the blocks in. I reached level 12k+ a few times and lost because of my fault OR lost because I had no moves. Now I can’t get past 5k for some reason. It’s just becoming more annoying than fun. Deleting this game. Don’t waste getting addicted!

The game is great and fun but I can’t deal with the ads anymore so ill be uninstalling. I wanted to leave a review and hopefully the developers will take into consideration all the complaints and reduce them length of ads. From ads that just play for 2-3 minutes to ads that hide the X out option under graphics it’s ruining the experience. I own a large Facebook page and we have advertisers to pay the bills. I get it. But there is no reason to make the ads that long. You are losing people’s attention and like myself ultimately deleting the game. Your advertisers would get more views by running quick short ads under 20 seconds by keeping ads short and the potential customer engaged. Making a user watch 4-6 minutes of ads on every break and expecting them not to get tired of it is laughable and a bad business practice. Ill check back in a few months and see if you guys took the reviews serious. Id even pay a few bucks to remove the ads. However I do not think that is your business plan here. By running ling ads you are lowering your audience and not GROWING your audience at the pace you could. You get the idea.

I'm deleting because of the ad, not the ads in the game, but the ad for the game. The ads in the game are just like any other add funded free game. You play, you watch an add. Fair trade. My gripe is with the ad for this game. It shows a different game- Tetris with a lot of lines. I downloaded it because I want to play that game. So I got suckered. Bait and switch. It's ok, I tell myself, because it's still a decent game. And then I see the ads and the game I wanted to play and I remember that I was suckered. And the creator advertises aggressively, so I'm constantly reminded that I was suckered. BTW, what's the point in showing a game you don't offer? Why not actually offer that game? Maybe that version of the game doesn't offer enough opportunity for ad exposure? Frustrated, I'm deleting the game. There are plenty of good free games that don't remind me I'm a sucker.

This game would be great. However, in adventure mode after a certain number of rounds (not sure exactly how many) the game will intentionally give you combinations of pieces that make it impossible to win that level until you play it a few times. I’m sure this is designed to maximize revenue, as every time you lose you are forced to watch an ad. For example, after playing 9 levels on adventure round, the next level “forced” me to fail 4 times before it gave me pieces that even made that level possible, and I had to watch 4 ads as a result. (Or at least close and reopen BlockBlast to avoid the ad). I know you can’t really complain about it if it’s free, but at least be transparent about the gameplay being situationally rigged.

This is such a fun game! However, the ads and adventures are not all kid-appropriate. I see no option to remove the ads or buy a paid version. I messaged tech support and have not received a reply in weeks. Sexually explicit games are often advertised on BlockBlast. BlockBlast also warns of adventure content, although I’ve not come across this issue yet. So disappointing as I’d love to support the game itself. I just don’t want my children viewing the ads or portions of the game with adult content. Why does a block game need to be anything besides a simple, fun, clean game? I only give it 2 stars because, despite the fun of the game - I really can’t enjoy it with my family. Definitely room to improve. Offer an ad-free version or choose age-appropriate ads so all-ages can enjoy the game.

I love this game. Genuinely. I play it all the time and love it when I *do* get to play. What I mean by this is the game has too many ads with no option to pay to remove them. I watch an ad when I beat a challenge, I watch an ad when I need to revive myself, I watch an ad if I switch to another app and return to this one to continue playing. There are wayyyyy too many ads. There are whole reddit posts about this. Dear developers: I WILL PAY FOR THIS GAME IF YOU DON’T MAKE ME SIT THROUGH ANOTHER ADVERTISEMENT!!! I’ve also read a ton of complaints online about this and others that are willing to pay too so we don’t gave to sit through another ad about a game that’s not even what you see in the ad to begin with. I’ve literally never asked to pay for a game, but please for the sake of having some wasted time in my life back- let us pay for an ad-free version of this game.

I really do enjoy this game however the ads ARE RIDICULOUS. second once your score gets to around 2,000 they start to make it very hard for you to stay in the game on purpose, and i know games are supposed to work like this but they start to make it impossible and give blocks that were never intended to fit no matter what strategy you use because then the game ends and it makes you watch an ad right after and it makes you continue playing. good luck getting a score over 5,000 because they intentionally make it virtually impossible, but honestly i’ve been trying to find a new app similar because BlockBlast doesn’t let you get high scores because it will give you puzzzles that are quite litterally impossible to solve regardless of the strategies you use.

I downloaded BlockBlast thinking it was going to be as Tetris which was advertised to me several times in other apps. Upon download I was greeted with an entirely different type of game experience where you have to fill in the cube with blocks and don’t actually play Tetris. Then when you fail levels it will prompt you with a button to watch an AD to get revived. Several times when I don’t click it after the timer runs out, I’m still prompted with an AD. I don’t really see the point in showing me an AD after I specifically didn’t click the button to get revived for an AD. Might as well have revived me instead of just making me restart after the ad which I didn’t click for. This game could have potential, but with the amount of ads it shows and the false advertising it’s no good.

At first I really liked this game but recently a few updates seemed to have made the game impossible to enjoy. Too often the game ends quickly because it literally gave you pieces that forced you to fill up the board and the end your game because the next 3 sets of pieces have nowhere to go. My usual strategies are not working since the recent updates. Doesn’t make watching the ads worth it. I’d rather pay for a version where I can play for a long time and score higher. Also, the game often have an ad interrupt the entire screen or click out to a different app while you are in the process of placing a block down. You get what you pay for the guess.

Hello my fellow block blasters I play this game on a DAILY basis. One thing I have learned is that I am a money maker at this game. Although you may get addicted to block blast like me WE MUST COME TOGETHER TO GET BETTER BLOCKS. You will reach 2 points away from your high score and they will give you the most absurd blocks that have no place on your board. It it crazy how addictive this game is even tho you can tell it is rigged but you can not stop. A personal testimony of block blast I have is when I played for 10 hours straight trying to beat my high score and still could not successfully win. It took a tole on my mental and physical health because I stayed inside for DAYS crying because I could not beat my score all because of the gosh dern wrong blocks. I do not wish this on my worst enemies. This game has truly changed my life for the worst. Please continue to spread this TRUTH I have spoken. I pray no one gets this attached to this game as I did. I have enjoyed my time on block blast God has spoken to me and I have got to get away from this addiction. AND THE REVIVES SUCKKKK

Don’t get me wrong the game works fine. But don’t listen to whoever is saying there isn’t ads. Playing adventure mode seems easy at first. Then come around lvl 25 and it’s ridiculous. They don’t give you pieces that coincide with what space you have left or made room for with specific pieces, then once you miscalculate the 4 long to a 5 long piece there comes the adds. Literally every single break in the game is an add. Sure it’s the ones that you can skip pretty quickly but maybe you can press the little X in the corner better than me but every single time I press it (even pressing it perfectly) brings up the download screen. Followed by another secondary add which we all know should never exist in the first place. Then you come back into the game trust me. If you despise ads like I do (which I understand is the only way games can make any revenue if the game is being played by a majority of F2P players) but seriously whoever said that this game is AD-free is full of it. 2 out of 5. Just cause I grew up with Tetris and it KIND of resembles a busted cheap knockoff.

This is another standard block puzzle. There isn’t any Tetris style game where the blocks auto drop and you have to fit them in. Unless i am missing some option in settings, this is false advertising! Disappointed

Okay, so I’d like to first point out that the first few ads I got for this game were completely different than the actually game. They made it seem like a tetris game when it actually isn’t one. Another false advertisement that they put in there ads was that their game had no ads. I downloaded the game a few weeks ago because once i saw the ads that were actually about the real game, i thought it looked calming, and then I saw that it had NO ADS and i was more than delighted to download it. However, there are in fact ads. After every round, you have to watch an ad, or to revive you have to watch an ad. Thats all that I really need to say but there is something else not super important that I want to mention; At first, only after every other round would I get an ad, but then i started getting more and now its after every round, unless i revive. this game is super fun but if you are only getting it for the no ads, there are ads so dont get it at all.

I just downloaded this game over the weekend and it’s a fun quick little game. However, there are a ridiculous number of often lengthy ads to watch like every other game. It feels like I spend more time watching ads than actually playing the game and I’m already annoyed in just a short time. What’s more annoying for me personally, is that I often play games like this while listening to an audiobook on my phone, and the frequent ads are disruptive because you can’t even mute all of them, so they stop my audiobook a lot of the time. Maybe if there was one ad ever 5 or 6 games it would be more tolerable, but it is excessive at this point.

I don’t see an option to pay a one time fee of a couple dollars to go ad free, but would be interested in this, because I will likely burn out on this game quickly because of the ads.

Enjoy this game but for the first time I’m in the high 20s on adventure part open open it again today and back at level one I did send feedback the third time it happened but never received an answer really irritating the other times it put me back at level one I thought it was because I hadn’t played it for a few days but that’s not the case because I played yesterday and last level and I actually registered level 26 it could’ve been higher, but that’s the last time I checked the level. I am about to delete the game and find another one close to it and if the game was over, I don’t see why when I opened BlockBlast it didn’t show that game finished new one starting, and only says level one ends in six days, etc.. Maybe I’ll play it one more time and keep track how many days or hours are left along with the level I’m on when I quit playing that day. I should’ve just put two since I didn’t get an answer back when I contacted the developer questioning why I was back on level one for the third time

In general I like the game but like idk it just gets kinda boring sometimes and like idk why buttttt it’s not my favorite cause I just think it isn’t really an original game more of like a copy of something like Tetris or idk like that but I do like the game to play when I’m bored and stuff! Another thing is that like the adventure thing shouldn’t reset every 6 days, it should like reset every month. Cause that isn’t enough time for people to be able to complete it, it’s not like people are going to be playing this game 24/7 so I think you should really consider that for the people like me who like the game and want to play it but are too busy to play allll the time and get to the end of the adventure thing. This is also just like a question (if I get a response) but why does the game say it’s 12+? I think the game is honestly for like little kids and for all ages! That was just a question and something you guys could change! But overall I guess it’s a mid game that is relaxing to play when your VERY bored. Thanks for your time and thanks for reading!

I would like to say that in the ad, it is like a Tetris game. But, when I first got it, I was like, “This game is a lot like the game Blockudoku.” I was not that thrilled with this game anymore. It is almost way too easy and I just got his game about 4 days ago. I wish it was more like the ad to where there is a timer and the block rise as the timer goes down and you have to try to fit in the blocks into the gaps to make the block go down so that it does not reach the top. Please make this game more fun because I have deleted it and I am keep playing Blockudoku which is way more fun to me because it has challenges like daily challenges, and holiday challenges. So, anyone who reads this, understand that this game is just a simple plain old block game that is nothing like Tetris, Blockudoku, etc.

I like this game. I don’t think it’s totally like the ad I saw for it, but it’s an good game to waste time playing. My major issue with this game is the ads 🙄 I know that free games have ads to make revenue, but there are so many ads that it drives me nuts. If you’re playing the game and get a text message that you want to reply to, when you come back to the game you will be greeted by an ad 😡 this game has adventures, where you have to compete a certain number of puzzles within a timeframe. After each puzzle there is an ad. Some of the puzzles only require you to collect a couple gems, so you may play the game for a few seconds and then get an ad, after that ad you go back to the game and play for less than a minute and get another ad. I’d be willing to pay for the game to avoid the ads.

So this is a fun game to pass the time with a simple play style (though the ad I followed to download it was not the same game, so yeah). Its got 2 game modes: one being a “survival” where you play until you can’t and the other being a campaign mode where you either reach a certain point level or collect gems from blocks. All in all its a fun game to play when you’re bored.
So why the somewhat harsh review? So after each time you fail it will ask you “want a second try?” or “revive?” for watching an ad. You refuse and still get an ad. I get it, these companies are trying to make money and they do so by advertising other games (they get a cut per download)… I respect the companies that ask first and offer you an in game reward… but when you decline the offer and still get hit with an ad I feel that is extremely despicable. I deleted this game because of how much ads they throw in your face… and theyre the ads where the “x” button is so small you may not hit it and open the ad… plus it takes hitting the “x” 5x before you can even get past it.

But in a different way. Many have said that this game has too many ads. I must start out though first by saying that I really love the game. It is addictive—in a fun way. I’ve actually become pretty good at it. Whenever I like a game this much, I can live with ads. However, there comes that time when the number of ads and the length of them and the frequency of them outweigh the pleasure of playing the game. This happens when I find myself waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting for the a long ad to play—one that requires you to try it out before it will move to the next 15 seconds of hawking. My normal technique of swiping up and quitting the game, and then just launching it again doesn’t work for this game because it will just start the ad all over again at the beginning or where it was when I swiped up. I’ve reached that point with this game—the ads have overwhelmed this game. I’m uninstalling it.

Played this for awhile, and then the ads started. And not just an interruption for 10-15 seconds—LONG ads, ads that take 3,4, 5 clicks indicating I’m not interested before they finally go away; ads that last a minute or longer. Ads that are obviously of the mindset that if they show just one more screen begging me to download it, I will. Ads that refuse to accept that I don’t want what they’re selling.

The game itself is ok, but just ok. It would be much better if the user could rotate the pieces (perhaps that capability is available in higher levels, but I’m not going to sit through the mind-numbing ads to get there.) Life is too short to have to deal with this.

I get that ads are necessary in today’s world, but developers should have requirements before inserting them in their games. Limits on the duration and the number of ‘not interested’ clicks required before they go away. Seems like the advertisers are running the show.

So if you're unaware, the devs purposely rig the game once you get past like 2500 points from what I’ve seen and tested. Like they give you all the big blocks but none of the small ones and your just stuck with the huge blocks with nothing to clear the lines with. I don’t know what they changed in the newest patch, but I can’t even get past 500 points anymore and my high score is 5004, like make it make sense. They immediately give you all the biggest blocks but none of the small ones you need to actually clear the lines, which fyi, before they would give you a nice mix of the big blocks and small blocks so you could actually clear the lines. Don’t know if it’s just happening to me, but it’s incredibly annoying. It’s still a fun good game though, I WOULD give it 5 stars but the fact they purposely rig the game to make it difficult to get high scores and now rigging the game to the point where you can’t even get a good run going is just ridiculous.

I've been enjoying Block Blast for a while, but my experience has been severely impacted by the excessive ads. It's incredibly frustrating to be interrupted by lengthy ads after nearly every level. While I understand the need for ads in free games, the frequency and intrusiveness here are beyond reasonable. They not only disrupt the gameplay but also make the game feel more like a platform for ads rather than a game. If the ad experience isn't improved, I may need to look for other games that respect my time and enjoyment more. Block Blast started out as a fun and engaging game, but the constant ad interruptions have become a major issue. I understand that ads are a part of free mobile games, but the frequency and length of these ads in Block Blast are excessive. It feels like every other level is interrupted by a long, intrusive ad, which completely disrupts the flow of the game. This ad overload makes the experience more frustrating than enjoyable, and it's turning what was a fun pastime into a series of interruptions. Until there's a better balance between gameplay and ads, I can't recommend this game.

I love this game. It’s very addicting however I have one problem other than all the adds. It kills your battery. My battery will be at 100% when I start playing then after 20 minutes of game play my battery will be down at 80%. I checked my battery usage for the last couple days and this game was responsible for 35% of battery usages. Every other app was between 1% and 7%. And some of the games I have I use just as much if not more than this game. Would love to keep this game however unless they fix the battery consumption issue I am going to delete it because I can’t afford to have my battery completely killed because of having to charge it so often due to this game.

I honestly feel like the developers for this game are blatantly ignoring the MANY reviews asking for an ad free version. you’re going to absolutely kill this games market by not giving an ad free version that users could pay for to rid of. if i have to sit through another minute + ad where i have to also PLAY it in order to rid of it i’ll scream. i’ve sent emails to no avail and I’m seeing that this has been an issue for months (possibly years) now. you guys are obviously refusing to present an ad free version because you make good profit from it but PLEASE CARE ABOUT THE CONSUMERS WHO ARE PLAYING AND WILL SOON HATE THIS GAME BECAUSE OF THEM. While this game is fun, it is not the game advertised. This game you have a square grid that you fill in with Tetris shapes. Your goal is to simply clear lines of blocks that you have put together. You get bonus points if you can clear align within three moves. Added to your combo number. or another style is basically the same thing, what do you have certain objectives that you need to do to clear a level

The reason I say it’s not advertise is that what’s advertise is a huge Texas game. Nowhere have I seen that. Enjoy the game or not. But this company did the same thing. Most other companies are doing false advertising of their game. Disappointed I was looking forward to, the game that was played in the ad. Haven’t decided if I’m keeping it or not.

Half the time the ads don’t even work when I get stuck and it doesn’t even offer me one to continue. It just kicks me into an unskippable ad. I enjoy listening to music while I play this - that’s RIGHT out unless I want it to stop and start 4213 times during a song while the ad bar at the bottom refreshes to a new ad every 10-15s and somehow glitches enough that the ad stops my music or starts playing sound. They also keep circumnavigating not allowing my phone to use cellular data while I’m not on WiFi. If I just want a peaceful 30m playing the game without 1387 ads I have to put it in airplane mode. I’d rather they just offer ad free for like… $1.99 and I’ll still have to watch ads to continue a round. As it is, I am over BlockBlast so much. Honestly, they’re constantly updating it, which great - but it’s every 2 days and I never notice a marked improvement.

This game has quickly become one of my favorites. The ads, however, make it unplayable sometimes. Open the game? Ad. Between levels? Ad. Have to start the level over? Ad. Have to step away for a moment and the screen locks? Ad. I get it — a free game needs some way to make revenue. But 98% of the ads cut off the sound of whatever I’m listening to and make it to where I can’t just swipe down and resume playing my book or music. I have to leave the game to restart it and then half the time I get another ad! I’d love an option to pay a couple bucks to get rid of them — it would be worth it. Or even just make it to where the ads don’t cut out the sound of whatever the phone is already playing.

In the ad for this game, it claims that it is like Tetris. However, when you download it, it’s nothing like Tetris. It’s kinda like the game Woodoku except for some reason better. I’m enjoying the game that’s not the issue…. The issue is to take a turn. You get to enjoy this really long ad, did you fail and need revived? Sure but after you watch the same long ad, and you beat the level and finished the goal? Yea you, here congratulations your prize is yea watch the really long ad again for the 108th time… like it drove me so crazy. I came to see if I could purchase an ad free version… Nope? Sob! 😭🥺 If there was an ad free version i’d be fine.
2nd I bet the weekly challenge and for some reason I assumed we would get a page that shows pictures of all the challenges that you completed. I finished the light house challenge. You don’t, it just goes away after the event is over.
Please make a spot that shows all the events that we completed so we can go back and look all the challenges you’ve completed.

I enjoy playing this game but there are waaaaay too many ads in it!! I beat a level? I have to watch an ad. I couldn’t beat a level? Still have to watch an ad! Can’t move forward in any way without dealing with these annoying ads constantly! And most of them, as of April 2023, are for a stupid game called Royal Match. I’ve actually tried Royal Match and didn’t like it. It’s nowhere near as interesting as the ads make it seem. It’s a boring and irritating game. If you could make it possible for players to turn off all the ads, I’d be willing to pay $3 or $5 to see NO MORE ADS! That’s how much I hate the constant ads, this really makes the game much less enjoyable.

It’s a good game. I can just say this game is addicting, simple, and very fun and satisfying. Also I need to say that I appreciate that the game’s ads don’t make it completely entirely unplayable, But at some point during the game, it all becomes luck based and the game will give you random blocks where there will no longer
be a logical way to to fit in the tiles in adventure and classic mode. You can’t rotate the tiles to fit elsewhere. Why do they give players tiles that don’t fit their board??? It makes no sense??? Once you lose, you get punished by having to watch an ad before going to the next round. That’s all very annoying, and unfair, and not the players fault.

I really enjoy playing this game. I understand your need to have ads, even though there’s anywhere b/t 1.5 -2 mins after each level (and leeks are short)
I’m okay w- that bc I’m not paying.

What drives me crazy is the loud ads that you can Not turn off. By “turn off” I mean, play w- your phones power button turned Off so the ads won’t blare out if you’re playing in a public place or while in bed. Even w- my phone shut off, the loud ads still blast into the silence. Sometimes you can’t even shut them off when they start playing & if you close out the game, the add will STILL continue playing.
What’s up with that? Please fix this.

My whole family has downloaded this same game and it seems there are two different versions. One you get more points and different types of blocks. I want their version but am stuck with this version even when deleting and downloading again. Each family member either has version 1 or 2.

Okay, so i genuinely enjoy playing this game. the concept is fun and it’s a great way to pass time. however, this game has one massive drawback i’ve noticed that is so frustrating. there are certain shapes it will give you at the beginning that once you pass about 500 in score won’t give you any more. i’m talking about the single squares and diagonal squares that would save me so many rounds if i got them at later rounds. the game will start giving you shapes around the 1500 score that will auto fail you. highest i’ve ever gotten is 5300. i also would pay for an add free version if they had it but they don’t. i hate watching ads.

This game overall is a decent game. It’s a really fun game that is a good time-waister. The only issues- a couple glitches and the ads, just a little annoying and excessive. First off, when I go to place a block, there’s a slight chance it will glitch. Sometimes it will freeze and put it in the wrong place and it’s pretty annoying. Second, if I get game over and hover a piece over a certain spot, it appears in that spot in the next game. So honestly they’re not that bad but if this game’s corporate can fix this than it would be great. Lastly, the ads. There are a lot. I usually click out of the game when I get ads but you get an ad every time you lose and every time you restart which is pretty annoying eventually. So if you’re fine with all of this, it’s a great game and you should try it.

i recommend reading reviews about problems with the game instead of reading reviews about of the game is amazing. block blast is a fun game that doesnt require wifi, so its a great game to play on airplanes (if the aircraft doesnt have wifi) or on roadtrips or in the car if you dont have data. it makes sense that as you get further into the game it gets progressively harder, but it is pretty irritating when youre getting a high score and it gives you pieces that you cannot work with whatsoever. yes there is a revive button but you have to watch an ad, which makes sense but there are already so many ads. its pretty annoying when all of the ads are the same long ones. it gives you so many royal match ads that are pretty long. but there is one specific ad that i have been getting recently and it only has an X button sometimes. Tiki Solitaire, is the name of the game im pretty sure and like i said before it doesnt always have an X button so i am having to close BlockBlast then open it. those are my only irritations/problems with this game so just know that before getting BlockBlast . it is free to download so your not wasting any money on it. i love this game and its an amazing game to play when youre bored. thanks for reading!! 💕🌴

First I just want to say I do enjoy playing this game, however I downloaded it because of ads that I have seen for it on some of my other games, but the ads show gameplay that is literally NOTHING like the games on BlockBlast. The ads show a Tetris style game with a large screen full of blocks where you can rotate the blocks to fit. There is literally no game in BlockBlast like that. I have played all three game options in BlockBlast and none of them allow you to rotate the pieces plus the screen size only has space for a small number of blocks, not the full screen of block space, like in the ads.

It would also be nice to have an ad-free,
paid version available , as I am very tired of having to watch ads just to play the next level and would gladly pay a few dollars to get eid of them. Thanks!

Truly love this game. The puzzle and constant grasp to try and get further and further is great. It holds interest and is truly fun to play. However, the ADs are killing it. If I have to see another royal match AD I swear. I would love to just pay and never have to deal with it again but there’s not an option. Also, I agree with a couple of other comments I e seen. It seems like if you get on a streak and break a high score or advance some leveled they eventually give you pieces that you can’t make work no matter what. I feel like they do this to break in another opportunity to watch an AD. It really is a problem. If not corrected I will eventually have to pass on the game cause it is a major buzz kill. Also these are the ones that last a long time playing a video that you have to just wait through before it gives you the X to close out. There’s nothing you can do but wait. It’s terrible…

I have come to realize that Block Blast is an extremely fun and interesting game that requires an abundance of strategy. It does become a little difficult at times, but that is just what makes it more enjoyable. However, I have noticed that every now and then it starts to play what sounds like a tampon advertisement. As a woman, I do not find this disturbing. On the other hand, the possibility of little boys downloading this game and hearing of the details of tampon insertion is not appropriate in the slightest. I wondered at first where it was coming from and even turned off the Sound and BGM options in the settings. The continuing commercial confused me even more because it was not like an add that I could see It was just a sound playing as I played the game. This has become a great inconvenience if I am trying to listen to music or watch a TV show on my phone at the same time. Overall, I love the game itself, but this is a bug that needs to be fixed.

I rarely write reviews, but the new update may have faults…unless my eyes just aren’t seeing what the programming does. Sometimes the pieces I’m getting give me no way to continue.

Before I offloaded the game my highest score was at least 30,000, now I can barely break 2,000 and my highest is 4,513. I know sometimes I miscalculate, but it seems like I’m alwaysgiven the ‘T’, ‘U’ and ‘+’ pieces when I have nowhere to put them.

Also, it would be cool if the game had different looks, for lack of a better word, like some of the ads I’ve seen on Instagram. I had the game before I saw the ad, so I knew it was nothing like it.

Okay so I don’t usually write reviews but I feel this is needed to be said. I use to have an iPhone 6 that was old but it was better than nothing. I downloaded BlockBlast and played it FOREVER. It was the only game I played and since I didn’t have service on my phone(I do now) I used to play this for long car rides and stuff like that. But one day I was at my aunts playing this game and it froze completely. It stayed froze for a good 10 seconds until coming unfrozen and crashing. My high score didn’t save. I was frustrated and I didn’t play it again til the next day. The next night I was playing it and my whole entire phone was frozen. It wouldn’t unfreeze. It was stuck frozen for 1 whole hour until it finally reset. I deleted BlockBlast immediately. After a few months I got a new phone and wanted to download BlockBlast again. I haven’t had any problems but lags and ads. The ads are a big problem too. The ads are after every single game. I usually ignore the ads by exiting out of the game completely. Other then all of that it’s a good game.

The game is an easy 5 star but with the recent update I had to give it a 4 star. I loved the game because it was satisfying and I knew that it is a great game to help me cope with my anxiety and distract me from everything else that is going on! Here’s why I gave it a 4 star though, first, the voice changed to a guy and it scared me and now he’s very anoying and very much not a comfort to me at all. Second, the creators added more block pieces to make it easier and it sounds good but to me it made me feel like I wasn’t doing as good as I should’ve because I beat my high score on the game and it made me feel like Idk the challenge is now wayyy too easy.

Block blast is a really fun game. The adventures, are really fun and hard challenges. Although most of the ads I see for this game are not 1,000% correct. The ads say that the game is where you drop the blocks but in reality you have three blocks and then you choose one to set down then you put down the other two, you keep doing this until you run out of space. Every time a row or column gets all the spaces full then it gets rid of that row, you get more and more points to try to get your high score. Though there are no levels so you kinda just free play. When playing this it gets a little annoying because there are so many ads, they are like 2-3 minute ads. In conclusion this game is very fun and I would recommend this game for people who like a little challenge.

I love this game, it is fun and challenging. I have a couple critiques though. There are ad banners on the bottom of the game, and they switch often. Every time they switch, it pauses the gameplay for a second and stops whatever I am listening to while playing. It’s super annoying. The pausing causes me to lose control of the blocks and they land in places I don’t want them to. So then I have to work with the mistake and go back into my music or audio book app to turn things back on. This happens often, and is very frustrating. Please fix this. Also, when ads play and take over the screen, they also take over the audio, and I can’t resume what I was listening to without leaving BlockBlast to play my audio again. BlockBlast shouldn’t have that much power over my audio. I have other apps, like candy crush, and they allow other audio and have less audio related glitches. Please fix these issues!

I’m reading this four star for many reasons one including there are two game modes. You can play on this game in one of the game mode which is the first default game mode Block Blast! there are so many ads you open the game there’s an Addy close the game there’s an ad after the match you get an ad there is just so many ads and I really don’t want to deal with that but if you go and click the button on the top right the settings button and you click more games or more gameplay something like that you get this cool little game it’s like Tetris but Block Blast! mixed together and it is so fun. I don’t think there’s any ad on that game mode. I don’t get a single one. I’m pretty sure unless I open it up because I get one from closing the Block Blast! section of the game and there’s ads on that game like crazy but than that like I’m not bugged at all play and playing and play but the game is just so fun and one thing I have trouble with is if my blocks on the second game mode if I get a good section and all of them fall into place one after the other like after Laterglitches my thing glitches the block up the down side of the arena it supposed to be in and I can’t play like I screen recorded it two times already. I literally don’t know what block I have and don’t have because they overlap. Some stuff counted is gone, and I don’t know and then I end up losing.

Very good and simple game that helps kill time, it gets that done. The ads are basically un-escapable yet there’s this random black screen like almost a pop up that appears out of nowhere as if I clicked on a pop up which I have not and it’ll remain on there. I’ll close and reopen and that takes care of it yet as time passed the black screen now pops up more frequently and quicker, I used to go a few rounds without seeing it but now it just pops up in about seconds after opening BlockBlast and this made me delete this. I have an iPhone 14 pro max, there’s no way is my phone. Other than that and the ads with no Xs to escape from or long time frames before it moves on to another add which makes me close and reopen which is quicker, everything else is decent.

I really like this game. It’s uncommon for me to like a game of this style too, but it really is one of those mindless, relaxing, play it when you can, fun games. The challenges push me to beat every level and I find myself mentally strategizing to fit the shapes. I like it a lot. BUT - I don’t see a way to opt out of ads! The ads are ruthless and happen in between every level. I find it so annoying. When I tried to see if I could purchase an ad-free experience - nothing. There’s no option to. Idk if the developers get more money from the ads this way, but I hate it. I’d seriously consider making the game ad-free optional because at some point, I’m going to find a better experience with another app.

So I’ve been playing the classic game for hours testing my hypothesis and I’ve come to the conclusion the difficulty ramps from 0 to 100 as soon as you hit about 2000 points, I’ve noticed that with extensive testing on the beginning of the game they always give you a piece that fits if you know how to match shapes, then when you’ve hit just about 2000 suddenly they stop giving you bricks that fit and instead go completely random. I have managed to push almost 8000 but that was very rare, I have used the revive and then survive and the next brick they give is a nine by nine Brick which no matter how I fit the other pieces will not create a nine by nine space, there needs to be serious optimizations made in order to not force people to suddenly lose, I will continue to play this game but I’m mixed on my feelings finding this out, adds aren’t an issue but forceful game losses are, in this it’s not user error but game developers error, I hope a patch is made to fix this and make the game way more playable, i am not asking for easy mode, I am just asking for better optimization from the randomness of the bricks after 2000 points. Before downloading I read some reviews. No, there aren’t a lot of adds, unless you revive, but yeah. I really do think that the reviving is nice. It’s pretty addicting. The noises and clicks are really nice! I can tell the developers spent time making this game. And it definitely payed off. I’m not giving it 5 stars, only because it could be better. Sometimes they give blocks you can’t put in.

I also think that some reviews are lies, so please be careful! A lot of YouTubers have made videos about liking BlockBlast . But I’m also sure block blast reached out to them. Showing that they are kinda desperate. Or maybe they want downloads. But I can see why they like it. It’s an addicting game, it’s nice, it kills time. It doesn’t need Wi-Fi!

Another thing, it doesn’t cost money. Nothing to spend it on. The settings are also nice, it has many things you can work and mess with. Not that it’s a good idea. But otherwise, I do believe that giving bad blocks that aren’t usable is just annoying! Like, I try to beat my score, and I can’t. Why!? Because you are getting blocks and you can’t put them in. Hi! I use BlockBlast as an line waiting game,time killer, and just whenever I can! It’s a super fun game. I never am forced or tricked into spending money. Great game! Though I have some suggestions. First, you should be able to have friends and a profile. This would allow you to play in versus rounds against other player to see who can get the highest score in the least amount of time. Second, you should have a coin system. This could allow you to buy skips or restarts as needed. You could get, lets lets say, 20 coins for an easy level and 50 coins for harder levels. You would also be able to buy large amounts of coins for not a lot of money. Third and finally, THE ADDS. There should most definitely be a remove adds for maybe 5.99. Oh! There could be a level select. This way, if you liked a certain level, you could go back and replay it. Of course, you would have to unlock the levels before you can hit the level select and play them. Thank you for reading my review if your still here. This game is so fun and I pull it up whenever I’m bored. It never gets boring and the designs and animations are incredible. However, after every game, there is a commercial. I thought that if you didn’t click the “reprise” button, then you wouldn’t have to watch an ad! But boy was I wrong!!! I had to watch an ad anyways, and the audacity of the commercials! They would not let me skip! I am very disappointed in how many commercials this game has produced but the game itself is wonderful. I enjoy playing and really love the game, but the ads for Royal Match & Garden Scapes make it difficult to play. Each one takes 45-50 seconds without being able to close out. Even after that time you cannot exit out and it repeats more advertisement. Royal Match interrupts my game to convince me to download their game because it has no ads. I’m about ready to give up the two games I play the most because I spend more time waiting between plays than I do playing the game. SO UNFAIR!!!!
If you can do something about that, it really is a 5 star game.

I LOVE this game so much. I play it all the time. This game helps my focus and it’s really good overall but, it’s way too addictive. I can’t stop playing it and it’s made my attention span worse. Not only that but this game will randomly re direct me as I’m playing the game so while I drag the pieces, it takes me to a random website and puts the piece WHERE I DONT WANT IT TO GO. I would also put a piece one place and it glitches and puts it somewhere else. I was SO close to beating my high score but this game just loves to test me and it glitched right when I was deciding where to put the pieces, and I wasn’t allowed any more revives. I have been trying to beat that high score for 2 MONTHS. Every. Single. Day. I get on this stupid game because I’m bored and I got so lucky this one time trying to beat my score BUT NO this game loves to play with me. I’m done. I’m deleting this game. Downloaded this game as a way to pass time on a long roadtrip. Kept it afterwards and I love it. Very simple, casual game. But i have a couple small complaints. The first one being the ads. Originally, the only time you would get an ad on this game was if you chose to revive yourself after losing. Which is perfectly fine. But now,I get an ad if i win, and most annoyingly, if i lose a level and choose not to revive myself with an ad, the game still makes me watch one after the revive time runs out. Whats the point of giving me the option to watch an ad if you’re gonna make me watch one regardless?g
My only other thing, which is more of a suggestion than a complaint, has to do with the adventure, which is where you can play actual levels. I’d love to see more of an incentive to play the adventure, and more of a reward if you complete it. I think the option to choose your block color would be cool, or even just the option to collect the pictures you complete and view them later on again in the game to see how many levels you completed. i spent so much time trying to complete all 100 levels of the last adventure thinking something cool would happen, just for it to show me a pic of a bird once. And i cant even see it again 😂😂

This is a great game and definitely worth downloading. The objective is simple and easy to understand but there are some challenging aspects to it. It’s also very satisfying, and I appreciate how there are two game modes. However, the frequent ads are very frustrating. You have the choice to watch an ad to revive after running out of space, which is fine, but oftentimes even if I choose not to revive the game still gives me an ad anyways. I’ve played games that have had way more ads before, but I still find this annoying, hence why I removed one star. I’ve read older reviews and apparently this hasn’t always happened, which is even more irritating. Despite how it may seem, I am not shaming the developers for doing this. I would just like to give them my opinion on this topic so they could possibly one day find a solution for this, as this affected many people’s opinion of this game in a negative way.

love the game. play it all of the time. honestly such an amazing game. ever since i started playing the game i was hooked and playing all the time. i LOVED it. one of my favorite parts about it was when i would clear the board completely the guy would say “unbelievable”. FAV part. ofc he says other stuff at random times but unbelievable was AMAZING. i would say it too and it was so much fun. now he didn’t say anything when you clear the board. it makes a sparkly sound and the text on the phone says “all clear” but no one says anything. honestly i’ve been kinda depressed and it would be amazing if you would bring the “unbelievable” back ONLY WHEN YOU CLEAR THE BOARD. i don’t want to hear “unbelievable” when i cleared a row just to die. please and thank you. there should be a petition to bring “unbelievable” back. i loved it so much. please block blast. that is the ONLY reason i rated 4/5 and not 5/5. only because you took the “unbelievable” out. put it back.

I love this game a lot. I play basically every single day I have time very fun in concept. Very colorful very engaging especially for my ADHD needs but I do have some issue with this game… i’ve only gotten a high score of around 5640 to one time now and seems like I can’t even get past level 3742 no matter what it’s like the game just doesn’t want me to win anymore it’s very frustrating as I really enjoy it and I keep on coming back every time and hope that someday I’ll match that same score that I originally got but never do I seem to get that score… It’s very disappointing and it hurts me. I’m literally at the brink of tears right now because I can’t even seem to get past my original point bracket. as soon as I get past 2746 the game begins giving me very unuseful blocks that will never even fit in the first place. It’s like they just want me to lose that’s not fair. Each time I end up getting one of those weird Z shaped blocks or long L block it always will give me an item I would never have any use for please developers make the game have an easy mode or something I just can’t take it anymore. Anyways, I’m going back to play the game now please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

The game is fun and I love the classic and adventure modes. The ads between levels are sporadic, but just often enough to be annoying. When you almost lose a level and can watch an ad to be back in with a possible save, those I can understand. When I close BlockBlast before the ad comes, and I reopen BlockBlast the next day or some other time, I have to sit through an ad before I can play. I would love an ad-free version. Where I only have to watch an ad if I need to revive a level. I’m honestly so sick of ads to Royal Match and if the ads didn’t open with sound on, that’d be great. I’m often playing in a waiting room or somewhere it’s inappropriate to have sound up.

I like the game but having to sit through all the ads is like scraping nails on a chalkboard. I though if I downloaded the other ads/games they would go away….WRONG…still have to sit through ads galore just now instead of downloading requests its “open and play” on the screen for 3 minutes showing examples of how to play before being able to restart a level it’s so boring but I do like the game but if ads don’t shorten up and only play every few loses I will delete it…hate to do it but I literally spend more time watching ads than playing the game. Well as soon as I wrote up this review. It now has a bit that after about 5-10 seconds you can tap top left corner to fast forward and then a x on the right to close. Idk if it’s that way for everyone or because I have downloaded all the ad games but don’t play them just stored in a folder but still taking memory of my phone having them there so I may try and delete them. see if the ability to still skip ad after a few seconds is there. If not back to downloading bc like I said I love the game but HUGE waste of time if have to watch 2-3 minute ads

I love this game a lot! I race with family and friends! However the new update with the weird pieces is not hitting it for me. They are cool pieces however it always makes my game end almost immediately. Yes they are there for a challenge but for people who do not care for the challenge at all times it’s a little rough! It would be great if it was optional, but all the time it’s by great! I place everything for the normal pieces and then all of the sudden I don’t have spots! Moral of the rant the crazy pieces should be optional and be able to turn off and on! I LOVE this game however not hate just suggestions!

I want to start with, this game is exactly as shown in the ads, EXACTLY. There aren’t really any levels, but I love trying to beat my own high score. It only makes you watch ads if you choose to so you can save yourself. It’s so fun and I played it for hours until midnight.(whoops😅😅😬) The only problem is it’s so addictive that when I need to do other things I only want to play this. (I’m not faking it) I absolutely love this game. It’s so simple yet so fun. I recommend it. 👍👍😃 I sometimes put on a show I love and then just shrink it into the corner so I can watch it AND play the game. Some people don’t like it because it’s basic but I think that’s what makes it fun. I swear all games are sooo complicated and hard to understand or hard to complete but I like this one, it’s easygoing and fun. Not difficult to understand but challenging. I would give this a 4.5 but I can’t. Let’s start with the good things so first my power had been out for three days and it’s supposed to be a out for a whole week! So I have no power and this game need no internet so this is the only game I have been playing for the last three days!! The second thing is that is great about this game is that it’s so much fun!! My little brother watches me play it and when he walks past he’s always says “ Why are you so focused?” And I always say because this game is ASOME! The third thing is that it has great sounds and graphics and there are no ads at all! Time for the one bad thing but it’s not to bad!
So when you play for a little and you make the square blank it fills up with blocks and say UNBELIEVABLE and when you run out of space it does the same thing so I always think that I ran out of space.

I am not just rating it a five star for everyone to see this, but also because this game is amazing! I made this comment at august 7th, 2024! Bored or not! If I have my phone, I’m straight to this game! I literally installed it on my tablet and that’s rare. This game looks hard and I usually NEVER EVER play mind games, but I decided to download it and it’s actually very fun! It doesn’t mind if your literally 4 years old, 50 years old, or 100 years old, this game is hard, but also isn’t at the same time! You don’t have to be smart to play this game. And also let’s talk,abt the ads! I can play this game for a straight 24 mins and get 1, ONE ad. And it’s pretty short, and idk how long the ad is, I think the game deserves to give me an ad from the time it gave me to play in a straight time with our ads. I read a similar review to the one I’m about to post. I really enjoyed the part of the game where there was always a way forward if you thought about it hard enough.

The new update has now removed that thrill from the game. Now once you hit 3000 points, the game algorithm now gives you pieces that are impossible to use. Is the reason for this to force users to watch advertising more?

Genuinely the reason I like this game, so much is because it gives players hope. If there is always a way to solve it, but sometimes it is harder to find this way, the knowledge that it is possible keeps you going. I have started to find that it is not possible. Once you get to around three or 4000 points, the game just shuts you down and doesn’t let you progress no matter how skilled you are.

If you take away hope, then it kind of makes you resent the game, and is crazy frustrating. Even if you have a completely clear board, there is nothing you can if the game automatically gives you that cannot be used.

Please return it back to how it was before the last update!!!!!!

I downloaded block blast because of a friend and at first I wasn’t too into it but as I started playing the more and more I became obsessed. I love block blast so much it has started to take over my life. Late at night what am I doing? Playing block blast. Hanging out somewhere what am I doing on my phone? Block blast. I’m sitting in class and I’m seeing block blast blocks thinking of different blocks and they ways I can put them together. I see the different blocks in normal everyday things thinking of which blocks fit into where. No matter where I am, what I’m doing, I think of block blast. I love block blast it’s very entertaining and the ads aren’t too bad and I’m one to delete an app because of ads. Definitely recommend this game because it’s very fun, very relaxing. I love this game! However, the ads are often too long and/or frustrating to close. I’ve had to go back and forth between two screens in the ad six or seven times before the ad closes and let’s me back to my game. I just had to delete BlockBlast and reinstall it because a lawn ad would not close and it would only allow me to shop - which I’m not interested in doing. I understand the ads are necessary but I should not have to do this to continue my game.

I usually spend hours and hours looking for a good game on the Roblox Fortnite mine melon playground of all other games out there, but I have to say the block blast is one of the mostly entertaining game I played I feel like I can play hours and hours and hours and not get bored. I usually just try to beat my high scorer try to make buildings out of them. OK, so I downloaded this game because I got a bunch of ads on it and I’m like why not it seems pretty fun so I downloaded it. It was fun. I really like it. I have a really good high score but the one floor about it is that it has ads even when I don’t choose ads maybe in the new update it doesn’t have ads, but it has ads for me right now because whenever I die and ask me if I want revive don’t revive and a full screen, which is annoying because I just wanna play my stupid game, but I’m gonna make it. Okay, this game is amazing. I kept seeing the ads of it and from my experiences with other games, I ignored them. What some games do is they make the ads look different with the real game, and I’ve seen a lot of games advertise and say no ads. But when I finally gave in and downloaded BlockBlast , I was overjoyed!! The game had no ads, only if you wanted to revive or something. And it looked exactly like it did in the ad!! I really love this game, but a few suggestions!! First off, I think you should add a different type of the Classic game. I was thinking like there’s a timed amount of time to do a level and get it over a number, kind of like what I did in the Adventure. Also, I think you should add some themes each day, and daily rewards with gems to buy themes that are different types of games. Thanks for reading!!

I have downloaded and installed many game apps the past few years. Literally 100dreds. only turn around and delete them immediately after the first two-three minutes of playing them. Weather it was the extreme amount of adds or just knowing immediately it's not what was advertised. This is different. Yes , there are adds. Not nearly as many as most games. And your not sitting around waiting on 2-3 minutes of adds. It's one short 15 -30 sec add. And it's only when you have exhausted your options and lost or completed your level.
But the best thing about this game is that it's fun to play, it's challenging and it's addictive. When I am waiting on my mom or wife to get finished with there appointments this is my go to.

Me and my family have just found ou my granfpa has been diagnosed with leukemia. A type of blood cancer. We found out he can only cure it with a bone marrow transplant with only a 85% chance. It sounds like no worry but 15% chance of him not making it. I have been crying for so long and can’t barely stop. One of my favorite people in my life going might pass away soon?! Anyway then I see BlockBlast. It looks like one of those fake save the king games but when I downloaded it. I was SOOOOOOOO Wrong. It was my favorite stress reliever. The vibrant colors and cool animations with the adventure mode is so fun to play. The only thing the devs need to fix is the # of ads I get an 30 sec nonskippable ad and I get annoyed from it so devs of the game please shorten the ads.

I am new to this game and I believe I am going to enjoy it. However those constant ads for other games are ruining my game. More time is spent on these numerous ads than I spend on my new game. If there is a way to get rid of, cancel, or eliminate these ads, I would greatly appreciate it.

I am now UNABLE to play this game. It has been overtaken by stupid ads. I would be willing to pay to remove them (I paid $10. To Scramble to remove these annoying ads). Otherwise, I might have to stop playing with your game since these ads make it impossible to enjoy playing.

This game is fun yes, but I don’t know what they talking about no ads in a review I seen, but that review is misleading there’s annoying ads. But that’s not why I’m deleting it from my phone. Like I said it’s fun, challenging etc. especially once you find out if you don’t give up there’s always a way out. My highest score it 10,000+. But I’m deleting because in the middle of playing this game, it automatically switches you over to fake websites (like spams). It’s so annoying, sometimes it does that and cause you to put the block down in the wrong area thus cause you to lose the game you’re on. Mind you I don’t remember going through this when I didn’t hit 10,000 points.

I’m 5 staring this game so the owners don’t think to delete it my review but, but pop ups happen so frequent that this game deserves a one star. I would use all types of profanity to express how annoying these pop ups is but I don’t think it would look professional.

The game was better with the challenge as everyone is telling you. The adds are crazy long and when they take over my phone I have no use to even try the game they are selling. I’ve waited more than 30 minutes and still have to reboot my device?

Unfortunately I finally deleted the game. I don’t mind adds but when it takes control of my phone and I have to reboot my phone to get out of the add , that’s asking a little to much of me.

Hopefully you will fix these issues and post it so I can download this fun and relaxing game.

My grandma downloaded block blast, than she contracted Jaundice, she started muttering “stack to win” every day… Than she died, the cause of death? Block Blast…. I love block blast because, it has amazing game play, graphics, and blocks. Not to mention the adds are delightful to play. My girlfriend put me on with block blast so that makes it even better. I will tell all of my friends about block blast and how amazing the game play, graphics, and blocks are. Shout out to block blast, i will tell everyone i am close to about block blast and how much i love it. Block blast is now my favorite game on BlockBlast store and in general. It is better than Madden 25, NCAA 25, Red Dead Redemption 2, Fortnite, Skate 3, Rainbow Six Siege, GTA 5, Minecraft, and Gang Beasts. I shall from now on eat, sleep, breathe, drink, and be block blast. I am going to start a potion to put block blast on the Playstation store, Steam, Microsoft store, and to be a game you can play on google. I love block blast so so so much and i will now try my best to get everyone else to feel the same way i do about block blast. This game is so fun to play when you need to pass time. I love how you don’t have to drop the blocks to the bottom, like Tetris, therefore is easier, but still challenging and fun.
The only thing I would like to change about BlockBlast, would be to make less ads. When you first download it, there are like no ads at all, which was great. As you keep on playing, it starts to put in more ads. Now, after every game I play, there is an ad.
Watching an ad is fine for me, I get that people need some way to get people to download their game. But sometimes I think it’s unnecessary to have too many ands. In this case, I think It’s too many.
However, despite the ads, it is still very fun, and I would definitely recommend getting BlockBlast.

i LOVE block blast. it’s super fun, entertaining, and a great way to pass time. some of my friends and family have this game as well and we always try to beat each others high score (i’m currently winning with a score of 9k). i have 2 complains. the first is that it tends to give you pieces that you can’t work with after you get to a certain point in the game. i was at a score of around 3k and only 1 of the 3 pieces could fit and it did not make a full line, making me automatically lose. the second is that there are a ton of ads! i get an ad after every time i lose. i get if i want to revive myself, but every single time i mess up? it can be very annoying. and even when i close out of BlockBlast in the middle of an ad, i go back into the game and it gives me an ad. BUT it’s okay because it’s still super fun. i do believe on one of the ads i saw for this app! it said that there were no ads, so if i'm not mistaken, then that is indeed false advertising. anyways, this app! is a super fun game and you should get it, (unless you don’t want to get addicted like me lol).

I’m having trouble with ads in the middle of the game starting to jerk and flash then it takes over and it won’t let me go back to the game. Usually if I leave the game for at least half an hour or so I can return and play again. However, last night it did that again and locked the game up. I went back in this morning and it’s still locked up. I don’t get any more blocks to play. The worst ad is Candy Crush. I finally gave up and deleted BlockBlast . I’m hoping I can redownload the game and be able to play again. I usually play adventure. I wish you had a land set up where you could go from one adventure to another instead of waiting on the next one to come out. Other than these things it’s my favorite game.

This game is not Tetris. Unlike Tetris, this game has a smaller field, and you can drag and drop the pieces like a puzzle. It also gives you three pieces at a time instead of one. You have to use all three pieces, but you can use them in any order you want. This game will get boring long term, but it is really good to have, whenever you have a minute to relax. I have a couple games that are tycoon games, great for really quit moments when you just need to upgrade things, a couple games with levels, better for long term, a version of flappy bird, for playing when you don’t know how long you will be able to play, and this puzzle game. Block blast completes my collection. You got to have a puzzle game. Just download it, ok? Just do it.

It’s relaxing, it keeps my brain active, there’s challenges, it’s really fun, there’s a lot of different things you can do with, it and it’s just an overall great game! I play it all the time it’s so fun. And it’s completely free, did I mention! There’s no in game purchases, and I’m pretty sure there’s only a few ads here and there. But overall, there’s not really any ads at all. actually so amazing game and no ads. (Insert applause 👏🏻) and plus, you can play it for as long as you want and never get bored of it! It never makes you stop with in game purchases or anything like that! so overall, it’s an amazing game with an amazing reputation, and an amazing everything!

So I have played this about a month so far and I have made to level 36 in adventure mode. I have played fairly casually, just once a day during a regular break. The game play is easy to understand and learn. Graphics are nice for blocks.. easy to see and appealing. I don’t listen to music or have sound on so can’t remark on that. The game play is smooth and no issues that I have come across. Some levels are a decent challenge but I like that you always start over on that level so you can remember where you messed up before. There are ads but not excessively or annoyingly, unlike many many games out there. All in all I highly recommend this block puzzle game for anyone looking for something to pass the time or just to relax playing. Wish more games were like this.

I genuinely love this game and average 8 hours a week on this game. I’ve shared this to all of my friends and they all became addicted to it too. The one thing everybody says and asks for is to have a no ads purchase. We all agree that we’d pay even $10 for no more ads. Either a one time purchase or monthly or even yearly subscription for no more ads would solve so much problems. Instead we’ve just been letting the ad play for 2 seconds then closing BlockBlast then reopening it so we can keep playing. But genuinely if block blast creators added a purchases ad free option, the game would not only make so much money, but be played more. Please take this into consideration and add an ad free experience purchasable subscription. PLEASE.

Block blast is an absolute loving game! It overtook what I was an
Addict to, and this is MY absolute new addict, love everything about it. Especially the challenges! Free, stunning, easy, brain challenging! But I have one problem, no more then one problem! The only problem is that when I play the game and I lose, it’s so weird I get the same exact ads every time! “Royal match” I’ve seen this everywhere! Young Sheldon actress, playing young Sheldon and being a mini model for Royal Match, this guy on mic asking 3 people about Royal match so he decided to, you guessed it! Download it!! This random guy saying it’s his new (🆕)
Addict. I mean…it’s just a king getting in trouble by..snakes breathing fire? Is what it’s showing, lava flowing to kill him, and killing brain rot puzzles. Of course in my opinion! There’s hundreds of girls, boys, ladies, men, and other people trying to lure you into playing that game, all I ask is please remove adds? Or at least please make less! If you can! 😊, also if you decide to open this review up into your eyes, is this game no WiFi required? If you may answer! Thank you so much for understanding or listening! And please, if you make no adds a thing, I’m just asking for no money required in this scene of a review, but besides that, great game 🤘🏻!!

Great game and almost little to no delay. I would suggest to give the option to pay for the ad/ad blockers. I would prefer to continually play without interruption. I would pay for it! Please give the option.

I am 25 with 2 kids both under the age of 8. Their father left me and doesn't pay child support, so I am in great financial distress trying to raise them. Well I got this game, and it has a hold on me. I play this game all the time. EVERY SINGLE MOMENT. I had a schedule for the kids, but now I forget to feed them. I feel guilty about this for obvious reasons, they hardly even know what is edible in the house (which is a mess since I haven't been cleaning), and so sometimes try to eat what they do know which is bread. The kids also still need help with hygiene, but thats thrown out the window now. I have been getting lots of junk food delivered because I don't want to miss out on the game. When I suddenly heard screaming from one of my kids, it was a wake up call because a tooth had rotted to which it fell out. Despite this though, I used this game as a cope for stress and my kids were left by themselves again. This went on for ages and the kids hate me for it, they little minds are still developing and shouldn't be living like this, but I can't help myself. Blackmold has formed around the walls. Yesterday police and well child care arrived and took the kids. I dont think I have aten 5 days.. I don't have regrets for my actions, but I know what neglect feels like, and it is terrible. I love Block Blast.
