There should be no extra charges for avatars or any other features. When purchasing a package, all services should be included without additional costs for optional features. Extra fees should only apply to users of the free version of Revive .

Additionally, finding the advertised features can be quite challenging, such as adding a song to my profile picture.

When I uploaded a photo of my pet and attempted to adjust the eyes and mouth, the result was unrealistic, as only half of his face responded, resulting in a distorted appearance.

Furthermore, I prefer not to use my voice for recordings, yet it seems I cannot access Revive 's functionalities without granting permission for photo access and voice commands.

In conclusion, it’s disappointing that Revive is misleading and does not readily provide the features it promotes. After spending 30 minutes navigating it, I was unable to locate the functionality I was initially excited about, which was highlighted in Revive 's marketing.

Could be fun I’d the User Interface and controls were more apparent and responsive. Revive needs a lot of development before it will be useful for all.

Not ready for public use!

Revive works well, but the company practices are very deceiving. In free mode, there’s a watermark on everything you produce, and you have to watch a bunch of terrible ads for games that you cannot exit out of until you waste a minute of your life each time. I went ahead and spent the five dollars for Revive , not realizing that was only for one week, so after five dollars, I’m right back to the free version of garbage. Don’t waste your time with this junk, these companies force feed advertising down your throat and it makes any products that they produce that would be good, totally not worth it. I want my $5 back.

When you start, they want you to pay $39 before you even try. It takes a lot of patience to tell them no and use the “free trial”. I succeeded in doing it once and they give you a watermarked file. That’s okay. The lip sync was “okay” so I wanted to try another file. Then I tried again and anything I pressed it kept showing me full screen commercials to download other apps and no matter what I pressed or how long I waited, that’s all you get. You can’t get past commercials to use Revive after the first go. If you reload, it now requests you pay $45 for it. Since I can’t figure out if the paid version has the watermark or allows you to upload your own files or test quality of the lip sync beyond the first one, it got deleted.

I paid for Revive yesterday. Decided to cancel within 30 minutes. It’s still not showing up in active subscriptions on my Apple subscriptions so I cannot cancel from that end.

I emailed this app. They tell me I must cancel through Apple subscriptions and I’d it’s not showing up then I’m using the free version. That’s not true. It’s not showing up but my credit card has been hit.

I cannot believe there are this many good reviews. Revive is cumbersome and glitchy and apparently they’ve created a loop whereby you cannot seem to cancel. I guess I’ll have to put a stop on the payment. I don’t know how else to accomplish cancellation.

Giant ripoff paid 35.00 I did 4 animations now it won’t find faces and tells me invalid security code

Worthless. Worked yesterday. Today, all I get is the error. Don’t bother.

When you try it, it stays stuck in the original try. Little frustrating to say the least

It’s the greatest app I have, lots of fun. That is, until the last time I tried to get into it. Now it’s stuck on some stupid game ad for for some crappy panda game. I’m mad, sad, and feel scammed.
P.S. I doesn’t work on animals.

Someone had told me about Revive so I downloaded it this morning and was having a blast. Went to show my family once I got home, purchased the week membership to support and now anytime I open Revive it’s stuck on a loading screen.

I’ve redownloaded Revive , I’ve restarted my phone, I’ve turned my Wi-Fi and network off then turned it back on and nothing will get Revive off the loading screen. If I leave Revive from the loading screen and come back it says I’m not connected to the internet.

Would love to support Revive further but if I can’t access it for longer than 6 hours especially after paying for the membership then I recommend staying away from it!

Revive looks like it would be an absolute dream – so much freaking fun to use. Until you download it. Every time the screen changes there is a new charge popping up. Every. Single. Time. 😤 Apparently, even with the trial run you can accomplish virtually nothing within Revive until you start paying. The funny thing is that, to date – I’ve not seen Revive actually DO anything! (not kidding)! Well, except offer to create a stack of 48 different, recognizable cartoon representations of me. (still waiting to see ANYTHING produced - other than the two charges that I received for the same non- service. )

I still have not seen Revive actually do anything. I’m flabbergasted. What a joke.

Genuinely curious? Did you make Revive terrible on purpose I get I pop up for premium every time I open Revive that sits there for 30 seconds and there’s no X!!?!? sometimes it doesn’t show up at all and I have to close out Revive reopen it and wait again? you give options for songs featuring two people that we can use for free but then when I put two people into a picture, you put animating both faces behind a pay wall.!?? Terrible idea awful execution bad throughout the whole process start to finish I’m gonna teach myself coding and do everything you can do for FREE which it should be considering you show an add every single time I fo anything at all I play a song to see how it sounds and get an add? Jesus use mimic instead

So I downloaded Revive because I got a really good picture of my cat right so I got to do the picture animation and I thought Revive wasn’t a scam but OH BOY WAS I WRONG when I had to PAY JUST TO SEE WHAT THE ANIMATION LOOKED LIKE and you have to pay 7.99$ JUST TO USE THE CARTOON POSTER JUST FOR THE POSTER i personally think that is ridiculous because Revive seemed like it wasn’t a scam but no it’s not and you have to PAY FOR ALMOST EVERYTHING want to do the song animation? PAY want to do the cartoon poster? PAY want do look at what other people did for the song animation nope can’t do that either gotta pay so I don’t recommend Revive at all because you have to pay for every little thing in Revive the only good thing is that I haven’t gotten any adds so don’t download Revive unless you want to pay to play!

Revive should not even be up here. It’s not perfected to the point that people should be paying to use it. It’s a money grab. What they even show you when you first download Revive it doesn’t even offer that. It’s simple avatar and voice over supposedly synched to your picture except your picture looks more like you’re eating food with a voice being spoken over it. And the mouths don’t even lineup. I don’t know what they’ve done.

It’s so bad and it’s almost impossible to get your money back try it good luck I mean don’t try Revive . Please let me save you from that just if you have, good luck getting your money back.

I bought Revive tonight and spent some time playing with it and was really glad I got it. All of a sudden it would accept the pictures in my phone. I can’t figure out how to fix it! It was a really fun app for a short period of time.

I purchased Revive because I loved to choose a picture and make the person sing a song. The selection of songs was very cool. The animation for the pictures looked very natural like the person was actually singing the song. Loved it.

Now I see my app was updated, no more songs at all. Not fun.
Revive is completely different. I don’t mind making a picture say a fun phrase here or there, but now this is the main feature. I don’t really used it before and doubt I will use Revive at all. Very disappointed Revive changed completely and now it’s pretty much useless to me because I purchased to animate pictures to sing songs, not to say dumb phrases.

While I like Revive as a gimmick, I subscribed on a weekly basis to have fun. I cancelled after a week, and it was still charging. I checked to ensure I had unsubscribed, and I was. I figured I had missed the window to cancel, and accepted the charge. The next week, I was charged again. I tried to solve it on the phone by text support, and couldn’t. I had to call Apple support to get the charge reversed. The confirmed I had canceled and couldn’t explain the charge. So, beware that you might get stuck paying a subscription you cancel. Otherwise, it’s a fun and entertaining app.

So, it feels misleading, Making people think you can use it as a free user as there is nothing too show that its premium only. There is even a button saying “try it now!” But when you use it, pick your image, record the audio, wait for loading, It asks you too buy premium. Nothing says Lip-sync is premium not even a crown on it or just a little text that says “PRO,” Its also one of the first things you see when you open Revive , just.. make a thing that shows its a premium feature, or just make it free, thats my take on the this, its just annoying.

Revive USED to be amazing! I splurged and bought the pro version. Slowly, they took away feature after feature and made Revive so much less fun. How it’s changed…
1. There used to be a lot of great songs you could use to animate faces. They are gone and replaced with covers.
2. There used to be some great trios and quartets, but those are gone. These made Revive unique.
3. You used to be able to animate up to 30 faces. Now, you can only animate 8. (Why they did this doesn’t make any sense to me!)
4. Face finding isn’t as good. Revive used to be able to identify way more faces. It could detect obscure and small faces.

There’s a general trend for apps to get better instead of worse, but Revive has done the opposite. I wouldn’t be as upset if I hadn’t paid for the pro version.
**I still like Revive, but I definitely don’t use it much anymore due to the changes.

My co workers send me pictures all the time to do voice overs for whether it’s singing or memes. Loved Revive at the beginning. Now with all the updates. It’s all meme sounds, where I was using mostly music sounds. The music they do have isn’t very much and it’s the “kid pop” version instead of just using the actual artist. Music is limited, even when you search they don’t have much and it doesn’t allow you to add songs if you’re looking for a particular song for the picture you use. It is a fun app but with the updates it’s not as fun as when I started using it

Hey this app! This is a good app, but the faces move so much when we make our picture sing. The mouth gets too big, too. Too much facial expression it squashes the pic. Reface was much better when it had that feature. Too bad you had to remove that feature and move it to this app. Even the Lipsync was much better on Reface that you had to remove, too. Please lessen the face movement, especially in the mouth. It’s not natural looking at all. Anyway, 3 stars for now. Will give it 5 stars once you fix this unnatural movement. Thanks.

Love Revive been having a blast with it. Only rated 3 stars because there are too many ads. most of the time I will click on a picture that’s clear as day and you can see the face and it will say face not found but I can click on a pic that is blurry and one of the faces are cut out of the picture and it will accept it. Sometimes when I pick a song and pick a picture it takes forever for it to load the video.

It is fun but you cannot even try it without paying, so I went with the one week paid plan.

First bad experience was that Avatars are a separate payment. Really?!

Then the templates available are OK probably for teens but for the rest of us I couldn’t find a lot that I felt related to.

When I did find things I wanted to use they took several attempts, sometimes the animations would look out of place or result in abominations.

When animating more than one person or pet, there’s no choice of who plays what part and so it’s always a gamble.

The facial animations also look very repetitive across templates so I found it rather expensive for the features offered.

I did not renew my subscription. Feels like the effort that goes into getting one single animation right is too much, and it gets old quickly due to the OK quality.

Animations are pretty solid but does have some trouble detaching long hair from the subject and moves head area only. Most animations/audio are male…need more balance. User interface is pretty bad. Not intuitive to start a new animation. App worked great a couple weeks ago now won’t do anything as it states bad internet connection and won’t open. I have a high speed connection and all other apps work. Paid for full license and now it doesn’t work.

Update: Reinstalled Revive and it works now. Looking forward to future improvements!

All the songs are awesome I like to make memes about them using funny images, but an issue I have with them is the songs. Like take for instance, the old songs they don’t exist anymore like for example deathbed, let’s play football and shock. The monkey don’t exist anymore. Revive is awesome but please bring the word songs back? And please don’t make where you want to select the face for the image to sing adding faces micro transactions. It’s really hard, and I think cloning 5 to 4 faces will be useful to make this happen much better.

I love Revive very easy to use and have recommended to friends. I think it would be great if it supports existing video on my phone or be able to upload my own music…
I only wonder what the upgrade can do besides removing the watermark.

It’s a really fun app and stuff but there is one thing I am mad about, lip sync. It started to work with me but then it stopped and said to purchase this app pro. This is stupid. I wish I was just able to use it without having to purchase anything. I get it that you get money that way, but don’t you get money from ads? So please devs, if your reading this then please do whatever you can to remove this app pro, or at least for lip sync. Other than that, Revive is good.

I had a lot of videos for my this app and make them and I’ve had Revive for a year and never had any problems with it until last week last week I want to get on my way I had and when you go to update your phone delete everything but luckily I had everything saved in my photos but if I wanted to have anything saved in my photos and it wouldn’t waste everything and it is crap

Fun to play with, but I wish I could animate more faces…I’ve done two at once, but not a family of five.

I love Revive it is hilarious and fun and everyone enjoys it but, after one or two pictures you have a long ad then every time I choose a face it asked me if I want to get pro which I think I would if it gave more information about what it does how better it is and if there’s ads every other animation. And then it only let you do 2 and it won’t let me do anymore!
Otherwise I absolutely love it give it four stars just because of the ads and the constant asking if I want to join pro. Which like I said I would if it gave a little bit more information about it. Yeah I even tried to search for this app Pro in Revive Store and could not find it.

It’s a really neat app, I’ll give it that. Fun and user-friendly enough that I’ll happily give it 4-stars. The thing keeping it from being 5-stars is the constant, in-you-face, pleading for money. If it was a one time thing that’s whatever, if I used it enough I’d play a buck or two to get rid of ads and the water mark. But they’re asking for a lot of money to get rid of it…a lot. You can pay one large lump sum and have the “pro” version for a year or you can pay a few bucks a week for it. It pops up pretty frequently asking you to upgrade to pro, usually after those heinous mobile ads that basically force you into Revive Store. Aside from that it’s a really cool app that’s a fun time waster with a surprising amount of audio choices!

I can literally take pictures of people and make them sing any song I want but if I can change one thing about it it would be no ads and one more thing we would unlock everything for free but overall it’s a good app.

Revive is the easiest, most fun and entertaining app I have used to date. You can get hooked on the endless opportunities to make someone laugh or just enjoy your own creativity!

My god, Revive is amazing. I was able to ruin many people’s childhood by making the Harry Potter characters sing cursed songs. Very easy to use and quick processing of the photo. Heck, I even did Godzilla!

Revive is more fun than it should be. I spent all morning going through an animating photos and just cracking myself up. I sent the Animated photos to all of my family and now I have moved from last place and popularity to number one overall!!!🤣 I almost don't want to tell people how to do it because I like being the one making everyone laugh and I'm not sure I want to share🤪

I am not the type of person who usually leaves reviews but I must say Revive is a must. My family members and I have found ourselves laughing and crying at the same time while watching these. You can create new memories from old pictures which has brought much joy to my life. I have shared Revive with friends and family, many who have decided to purchase it themselves. Revive is well worth the money in my opinion. Thank you this app! I look forward to many more memories.

Wow! It has been a long time since I bought an app for five bucks and figured out that it was gonna be a cool thing that I was going to use very often. Revive converts regular pictures into animated and audio tracks that are just amazing. The selection is fantastic and it meets anybody’s music needs throughput history. I highly recommend Revive as it will bring joy to your family and chuckles to yourself for years to come.

I had to try with some photos but eventually I did it with my dog and it turned out great.

Fun to play with selecting songs to match with my photos, but your family might think you’ve off-the-deep-end if you don’t moderate the effort.

Upgraded my review because of observed improvement in song choices near daily.

Quick to compile (animate) your photo to selected song snippet. Easy to use. Some morph the facial features and teeth in disturbing ways, so play with various photos to find best match that doesn’t look too weird.

I was feeling very sad but then Revive came and saved the day. Revive has an easy to use interface and the pro option is not expensive at all.
The movement of the faces also does not look that unnatural and moves the way that the actual head would. Revive also has sounds ready to use and you are able to make faces sing songs very fast.

This is got to be my favorite app. It is so clever. My sisters all got together at the farm and with the time that they had they used it as an antique, porcelain doll and the this app app brought the doll to life. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched the clip and how many times I have sent it to other people. I’ve already downloaded it to my phone. It’s that good- excellent job.

As a developer, I can say they have done a great job. The amount of time and thought put toward Revive is tremendous. I love the lifetime fee, but I would add an annual fee to attract more people and generate recurring revenue from people.

The price point removes many people at $40 as people won’t spend it on a novelty item. I would suggest a $20/25 annual and lifetime option. People don’t like a weekly fee, always a monthly or annual it’s a mental thing.

Nothing is perfect, but the people commenting with lower stars have no idea what it takes to develop Revive.

I am a cartoonist and if you make caricatures and want to animate them singing, this is for you. They constantly add new music and memes. The synchronized and animation is right on the money. Occasionally it glitches, but not often. It can be a bit unpredictable at times; for instance, select a song and an drawn image and it works. Select a different song, same image, and it sometimes says no faces found. Overall this is very clever and well done. On my wish list is recognizing animals and animating them.

OMG I love so funny when I first got it I felt it off my friend and I just started going crazy with it it was funny and I’m glad that it doesn’t push you to pay so it’s a free app and it’s nice because a lot of these type of apps are where you have to pay and that’s not very fun because no one likes the pet lol. And I also like Revive because it has very funny memes on it, and I like it because it has funny songs that I have heard and there’s not one thing that I don’t like about it. Thank you this app!

My dad passed away last year and I love how Revive brought the photos of my dad to life. I used his favorite song to sing on karaoke for the photo and just seeing the animation makes me smile and reminds me of the times he sang to me when he was still alive🥹❤️ Thank you so much to the creators of Revive!!! It definitely warmed my heart during this cold winter season❤️

Revive has changed my life. i have never found a more monumentally riveting app as this one. i have found my purpose in life through Revive. i can now manipulate everyone around me by showing them these fake videos. i am now a master of blackmail. i get what i want because they are afraid of me releasing the videos of them singing. what they do not know is that this is all fake… all a LIE, thanks to Revive. 5/5 stars. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I’m a Community Manager that makes a lot of content for high end holiday decor brands. We have a talking elf as our mascot. Most of these apps distort or simply can’t pick up their faces at all. This one can’t detect them all but when it does it does a fabulous job! It’s not blurry and distorted like others. It does need work. I’d love to see a few more features but overall compared to the many others I’ve tried 5 stars. Our members love the content! Thank you!

I had used it before for the pop song syncing. It is currently advertising with "what is love". But the song feature has been removed completely. I feel totally ripped off. Crooks.

Paid for lifetime subscription and then it stopped working.Uninstalled and reinstalled and now it does see me as a member and it still doesn’t work

Does not recognize animal faces

I love the app but recently I've been getting an error message ."panic: running out of memory"

When I first received a Revive video I was amazed. So many songs to choose from by a vast range of contemporary and classic ("oldie") artists. Big Crosby! The Beatles. I Immediately signed up for the upsell level. For the price they were asking this was still a bargain and I spent hours creating video using classic rock and R&B and the photos of friends. Those days are over. Recently I imagine they were probably popped for using music without licenses or permission. Nearly all of the great songs were wiped from the app, and now all you can select are tiny "sound bites of voices from Movies, TV, and anime...or really awful people "singing in the shower" and you can imagine how awful they are. This is NOT was I signed up for and forked over good money for. It's like paying in advance for a luxurious hotel room, and when you arrive all they have are tents erected in the parking lot or shared bunk beds in the basement. This is a clear case of bait and switch. Their response to emails suggest that they see the elimination of dozens and dozens of classic tunes as a "minor inconvenience. This is fraud. Legit service providers don't sign you up, take your money, then drastically downgrade the number and quality of options.

Don’t see how to upload original music any more. How do I do that

Hello.. I thought this was a free App with the option to subscribe..? I chose to try it for awhile before committing to subscription. I was only able to do 2 photos & now cannot use it again till I subscribe... So it is false information saying App has a free option..

Made a few great videos but now I just get “invalid security header” no matter what photo I use. Annoying!

If you enable the app to upload my own music would be the answer! Solves a lot of problems about the music appealing to the individual! Good luck!

More top hits through the years! Country music is way too dated and old! More modern 2015 to 2022 country! Some country so old most people are dead when the music was playing! Overall a lot of the songs are awful! There is a reason why top hits in each type or section of music sales! Feel like the music is out of touch with the times! Good luck as you grow this app! It is fun and easy to use!

App will not animate faces of pets.

Great App. I never pay for Apps on-line. I use the free version. This one is sweet. Creates great song animations. I suggest if it stops working to Uninstall and Reinstall. It is lots of fun.

Same complaint as several others. Have tried to animate multiple pictures of my two dogs and the app can never find the mouth. Will either animate the nose or ears. No way to make the app recognize the dogs mouth.

I can’t get animals to work. I have tried several of my cats. Does it only work with dogs ? Thanks

I’ve had fun animating photos of family and friends. Although the promo shows it also animating pet photos. I have found this doesn’t work because a face is not found at all or it discovers what it thinks is a face in the fur or something in the background. So the fur or a pillow sings instead.

I see a dog on the sample videos, but it won’t recognize faces when I use pics of my dog

Good app but I need to be able to upload our music. Unfortunately won’t be using this app because of that. But the app is the best I’ve seen.
