The game is pretty good in the beginning. There are 3 big issues for me. (I am someone who plays tons of idle/tycoon games. I also click on ads to get everything and move things forward) 1. The time it takes to upgrade properties or research is way to long. It would not be bad if we were able to upgrade other things at the same time. But no. If you want to upgrade faster you have to spend real money to buy that option. 2. The money vault limit is a major problem. You never have enough money to upgrade things because the vault limits you. You are also only able to upgrade it to a certain point. Then after that you have to spend real money to expand it so you are able to continue. The developers respond to complaints about it by telling people to basically buy with real money the upgrades. 3. All of the random ads that just pop up. I am one who is happy to watch ads when I click on them and get fun little rewards. I do this all the time. The random pop up ads in the middle of an games are just an interruption to the enjoyment. It also just shows how greedy to developers are. They force you to watch ads to move along in the game, they force you to spend money if you want to proceed further in the game, then they force random ads on you!

These are the reasons I can not and will not recommend this game. And why I am warning you about it.

I am also deleting it. So sad because it could have been a great game!

Hey there. I just downloaded this game last night, because I thought it was gonna be like Fitness Club Tycoon. It is in most ways, but I really feel like once someone buys the ad free version, we should be able to get our own diamonds from the piggy bank for free too. Why do we have to pay $3 just to get the diamonds we earned. Y’all have a GREAT system in Fitness Club Tycoon. Bring it over to Truck Stop, and it’s gonna be a great game. Keep up the great work and I can’t wait to see future updates.

Edit: another thing, why do we need to buy builders? We should be able to unlock them as we unlock everything else. Also the timers for things to be finished are WAAYY too long 4 hours just to have a small area to open up. Or I could pay 45 gold to have it done instantly. It’s hard to get gold when you have to wait for things to finish building before complete the other challenges. And same thing go for the research workers. Why do we need to buy those too? It doesn’t make since that we don’t just 1. Already have them. Or 2. Have to buy them and the limit on how many you can have is way too low. 4 for builders and 4 for research. And we have to buy each one. Let us unlock them like Fitness Club Tycoon does.

I really enjoy this game! However, I’ve hit a point where if updated almost everything, but can’t update the 4th gas station, or repair shop, or wash, because my vault is at max level 10 and won’t let me purchase past my bank of 15.8 mil. Also, the truck parking says you can unlock the staff at Vault level 11, but the vault shows at max capacity. I’d love to finish this out, and I’m hoping you create more levels, but the vault needs to be fixed. It doesn’t make sense that it stops at a certain level so I can’t upgrade the rest of the stuff.

Don’t waste your time with this one! The vault never has enough capacity unless you spend something like $20+ more, and even then you’re maxed out on your vault capacity. Which means, while plenty of money can be made, it doesn’t matter bc your vault can’t hold it. Which means you can’t keep upgrading…upgrade costs become more than your vault can hold. Even after you’ve dumped more cash into the game to increase your vaults capacity, it doesn’t matter, your still stuck and can’t go any further. I truly don’t understand it. Basically, you spend real cash and don’t even get to progress through the game! I have no idea how this game is getting a 4.7 star rating! On a petty note, you set your researchers to task, but you don’t know what they’re doing unless you manually scan through all the different research tasks to see how they’re coming along…tedious. This idle game made me sick of all idle games and I deleted them. I’m pretty disgusted with TruckStopTycoon developers!

This is the most incomplete game I’ve ever played. There’s only one truck stop. You can’t upgrade everything. Stuff you can upgrade won’t unlock trucks or linked upgrades as it’s supposed to. Ads are forced on you to advance, gain in-game currency, get boosts, upgrade, and often when you touch the screen you’ll get a random ad (even if you’ve just watched one). Ads are busted and many times you’ll have to close TruckStopTycoon and restart; gaining nothing. The piggy bank has been broken since the beginning. You have to upgrade the vault to a level not even available unless you pay money to increase the vault volume so you can continue. The amount they are asking for to remove ads is atrocious. Freemium games act like they are AAA titles now with the rip off price gouging. Broken. Buggy. Boring. Unsatisfying. The high ratings have to be bots. How this game EVER GOT THROUGH TruckStopTycoon STORE is beyond me. Apple is slacking!

I’ve enjoyed many idle tycoon games but this one is overrun with ads and small things take way too long to make it run. I can’t even make it one day in this game without being annoyed. Vault can only hold $500k but I earn $5 million while offline. Why even upgrade anything else? Have to do a bunch of dumb research with the one lame researcher to even get to where I upgrade the car wash so I can upgrade the vault? How dumb is that? Looks like it would take two days or more of stuff just to upgrade the vault again. And those ads pop up even when I’m not using them as a speed up. It’s just another ad. Why do the run at 2x speed or whatever? Not like there is room in the vault to hold any of the cash. What a shame a fun game is ruined by bad developers. Don’t waste your time and sure don’t waste money on this game.

Idk when people are gonna realize these tycoon games are basically a clever way for these companies to play constant ads for you and make it feel like you’re playing a game. You’re not. Everything you do in the game, ad. Want to progress? Ad. Want to upgrade something? Ad. Want no ads? Give us money to not have ads. Everything is so ad forced its ridiculous. It’s not even funny.

The concept of these games is cool but in order to do anything you need to watch ads or spend real money on getting the in game currency to not have to wait ridiculous amounts of time. And honestly, props to these companies. They figured out a clever way to have you watch ads and make them money while feeling like you’re kind of playing a game. Bc you’re really not. You’re really just watching ads.

I don’t know if anyone at Apple, tests games, but they really need to test this one, the bank isn’t big enough, even if you pay real cash money to upgrade the bank, it can never hold enough to upgrade everything, everything is very expensive to purchase on this game, that’s all this game is about, for them to make money, like they need the money. so just know you could never unlock everything, because you will never have enough money in the bank to do that, even if you purchase the upgrade with real cash money, it won’t be big enough. this game is one big scam, to get real money out of people, and I don’t know for the life of me why Apple allows this to happen, but I guess then they really don’t care, because they do get a percentage, and good luck getting your money back from the game or apple for that matter

I downloaded this game because my boyfriend drives a semi and I love tycoon games. But this one shouldn’t qualify as one. I spent the extra money hiring the builders and management and investigators. But once my vault volume reached full capacity at the top level ( level 10) I noticed there were still things I couldn’t afford, upgrades cost more than what my vault would hold, or some of the staff that could be unlocked claimed my vault had to be at an 11, when there was no way to upgrade it. I think there was some miscommunication when making the game, all be it it was fun. More locations would be nice too, that might make it feel more like a tycoon game. Just some food for thought.

So ive been playing this game for a few weeks and i have payed for the no ads option. Ive reached a point where i maxed my vault at level 10, but then started being met with stuff upgrades that exceeded that max cap. I have bought all the helpers i could and maxed them all, upgraded everything I possibly could, and even did all the research expecting something to happen, like a new research tree or something, yet nothing happened. Others have said that even buying stuff to increase your vault cap STILL isnt enough to upgrade everything.

I do not recommend this game at all, and the devs dont seem to think that stuff through. Also, the max vault level is 10 yet some staff requires vault level 11. Kinda shows how incompetent the decs are in my opinion

I love idle games. This grew in me when watching ads for it. Downloaded it. Was fun at first but quickly became uninteresting. The fact you have to buy more builders or researchers with real money is a big issue. This is the first game I came across where I could not use earned items (gems etc) to get more builders/researchers. Other games if I wanted to spend real money I could but there were other ways to buy tho. Like others stated, way too many ads and too many random ads that make this game lame. Game has potential to be a good idle game. I do not and will not recommend this to anyone. I would not even give it a one star. If these issues are resolved. Then I would re-evaluate the game and update my review. But until then. Thanks for wasting time I can not get back.

I’ve almost finished the game to the point I’ve maxed out the restrooms and 2 of the gas stations but after you have played to the point where you have maxout your vault as far as not paying you can only hold 5.8mill and there are upgrades that exceed 5 mill so I decided I’m this far in I’ll spend the 30 dollars so I can beat the rest of what I needed after I spent the 30 dollars I still can not go past lvl 4 on the last gas station because the last upgrade before you can go to lvl 5 cost 19.9 million with the staff maxed out on both the vault and gas station but your vault can only hold 15.8 after you have spent the 30 dollars on the game so it is impossible to truly finish the game

So I’ve been playing for a few weeks. The game plays pretty good and I like the idea of what they have going on. you’re going to reach a point where you have all the money you need, but you can only upgrade one thing at a time because you only have one builder. The only way to get more builders is to pay with real money. Otherwise, you open the game, upgrade something, and then you’re stuck waiting for at least two hours before you can do anything else. Realistically I can only open the game for about 30 seconds and then there’s nothing to do…unless I pay $5-$30 for more available builders. Two stars because I can only play for a limited time. Bummer

When I first downloaded this game, you had 1 truck stop, and you had to updates everything.

At some point they updated the the game, and changed how the game functions, now you have to research things and unlock them, which is fine.

However the part I’m confused about is this: the vault (which holds your money) maxes out at level 10, it holds 5 million dollars. Here the confusing part, during the idle time, the game will say I made 286 million dollars, can only hold 5 million of it, but some updates cost 5.1 million.

My vault portion of the research is all updated, and my vault is max level, so I can’t complete every update on every part of the game. Am I missing something?

Other than that issue, the game is just like any other clicked game.

Not a bad game, but it's limited. Progression is faster if you spend money, which isn't a shock. But, you can't complete all upgrades because they cost more than what a "maxed" Vault can hold. There are some things you have to have a Vault 11 to even access, but the Vault only goes to 10. My assumption was you max out everything and then more vault levels open up, and/or more options become available. Well, you can't max everything out because the vault doesn't hold enough to pay for it.

If there are going to be updates to include those expansions, that would be great.

Found a few bugs in game that need fixed as in special purpose truck research I can’t do the last one it says I need to research something else to do that one and I’ve completed all but that last one on the research the 4th car wash gas station and repair station can never be completed due to your bank vault not able to hold enough money my vault is maxed out at 15.8 mil I can’t upgrade it and I have paid to have all the managers there is absolutely no way to complete these last upgrades this all needs fixed asap my review will be 5 stars once these massive bugs are fixed and you can actually beat the game until then the lowest I can do is one so that’s where it will sit

EDIT AFTER DEVELOPERS RESPONSE: Devs get one chance to make a first impression. ONE. Stating that the number of ads will decrease the second day is pointless, as you have already lost your customers. Also, read through the comments: They released an unfinished game that’s pay-to-never-finish/can’t win. It’s a cash grab, kids. Don’t download this!!! Even when you click to say no to an ad (as in where a choice is provided for a bonus), they still play. There’s no choice. Any app that does that is ignoring their users. Instant-fail for me.. The game looks to have a cool premise to it, but until they fix that problem, I won’t play, and I encourage others not to download.

This is a game that requires a lot of time consuming in order to upgrade; nothing much happens inside the game. I’ve boosted everything in the game and it seems that the itself gets stuck or the developer hasn’t specify the process to upgrade VAULT to level 11. This game takes about a month to complete and to move on; if a developer is reading this comment; Where is VAULT level 11? It never upgrades, the game keeps collecting revenue but there’s nothing else to do…. Is there going to be an upgrade on the game coming soon or there’s a system glitch error within the game?

The ads and all that don't bother me as much as long as I get something in return but what's really stupid is once you've maxed the vault out you can no longer upgrade it unless you pay money I've already paid money that I wish I hadn't because my vault is maxed at 7.5 million and the remaining few upgrades I have are all 8 million and up so I'm done with this game and uninstalling because I refuse to pay more to do a few upgrades and from the looks of it once I do those last few I will have beat the game anyways...it's ok but I would say don't bother

The game is based entirely off of ads and paid features. There are options to watch an ad to speed things up, which I’m ok with, but there are also frequent forced ads as well. You are only allowed to build one building at a time and upgrade a building at a time which take hours to upgrade. You can only hold a certain amount of cash at a time, and upgrades are all very cheap, so you really don’t need much anyway. If you could upgrade multiple buildings at once or money wasn’t so easy to come by, this may be a fun game, but it’s too easy and slow to progress. Not worth the time/effort/frustration.

This is a lot of fun but it has a couple of drawbacks. First being, you will pay to play, with that being said I think if they work this hard on the game they deserve to be compensated. What I DO NOT like is that in order to complete the game you need to pay a lot of money in order to expand your vault to allow the money you need for expansion. There are a few other things. Why allow the potential to earn 800 million when you’re offline if you can only hold 9.5 million maximum? Lastly you should be able to see the progression for how many more levels are needed within the task. Bonus thought, you should make advancing levels, once you complete the one allow it to close and go onto another world, if you really want to make the user happy allow for a small percentage of that truck stop to trickle into the other. If you’re a investor in real life you’d expect some money from your initial investment.

This game could be super fun but the developer decided to be greedy and make it to where he would only make money off the game.

There is no reason for anything on this game to be $14 or $15. There is no reason you should have to buy workers or managers to do a job for $5 bucks. That’s should be something unlocked in game after achieving a goal or buying them with in game money. Watching ads to help you is a scam. Says you’ll get money and diamonds and only get money. The wait to to upgrade stuff is decent but if you want to do multiple you’re gonna have to spend $5-15 dollars of actual money before you can progress through this game at a decent rate.

We are forced to watch stupid ads already….if you want us to buy something don’t make it over $5 bucks. It’s an iPhone game just as quick as we downloaded it we can delete it and go find another one where the developer is just out to make a profit off a mediocre game at best

Granted it’s a mobile game you can’t play it hours on end because your waiting for your truckstop areas to be built so pay to have more in game currency or get flooded with ads to pass it. Which is nice to have that but it’s more or less an idle game. There’s not much to do early game you pop in built or upgrade 1 area. Then hop off wait until everything is done. And ofc your currency doesn’t stay because you have to upgrade your bank. (Which doesn’t make sense) rather they get rid of that aspect. And you need staff to manage those areas and some you absolutely have to buy which is kinda rigged. But on the one aspect your waiting to buy another areas then there’s tiers but with the lack of bank space you are only able to have enough funds to build that one area and the rest goes out the window. If I was able to keep all the money I earned I’d be happier with this game but of course they need their money and for a Chinese game developer the English is pretty hard to follow.

So I got this game a couple weeks ago and it has been my favorite idol style game that I have played. To the point of spending a little over $25 in total for some gems, add removal and so staff. Worth it if you want to speed up progression. As I got close to finishing upgrading everything I realized I couldn’t make my Vault large enough, even with the paid staff for it and full upgraded.
Then I noticed future requirements of vault level 11, which I couldn’t upgrade to.

I figured that I just need to complete all the research that n everything else to load the next batch of upgrades and research paths only to find that I have reached the end of what has been developed. Then after looking through the update his found in over a year they have patched bugs but not created new content. This is infuriating considering a lot of people spent money on they have capped off the game.

Would really like an update on when the caps will be increased and future upgrades will be added in. For now giving 3 stars because the game really requires you to make purchases to get anywhere. Your vault is never large enough and they don’t allow you to partially purchase upgrades. You have to have the total amount at one go. It would be better if you could at money to the upgrade you want and build it up.

As someone who is extremely picky with mobile games and I am constantly looking for a game that is worthwhile, this game is not worth the time or the money. The price for removing ads is atrocious. And even if you shell out the cost for no ads, guess what, you STILL need to spend MORE money for additional in game items. I can understand the need for ad revenue. But I need to enjoy a game for more then a day in order to determine if I want to spend the money on it. So I get the idea of including ads to complete tasks and for certain in game rewards when you first start. But to force a minute of ads on you EVERY 2 minutes is extremely frustrating and completely unnecessary. You can literally only push a few buttons and then exit the game. The entire point of this game is to shut it off and not play it. For those of you spending $30 on this game. This is a mobile game. Not a triple AAA game release. Save your money to spend it on COD or some Fortnite V-Bucks…

I actually like this game but, I share the same frustration as other players with the vault capacity and the need to actually pay real money to actually play the game with any success. I like others have “purchased” everything possible and are still stuck until updates are made. There are a couple other things that would make the game more functional. First, why can I only see 4 missions at a time. Even if I have completed a mission, I can’t see it until it poops up. I should be able to scroll through them like I can the research list. Second, I should be able to see my active builds and active research in one location without clicking on a bunch of areas guessing. Third, why should have to pay for builders and investigators? Why can’t they be unlocked by game play? Forth, the research, unlocks and updates take entirely too long!

I like the laid back aspect of the game, however I’ve reached a point where I’m stuck even after purchasing all the possible add ons. The game has you upgrade your vault as it progresses in order to be able to continue upgrading amenities. This is fine and all until you max out at level 10. Once the vault reaches level 10 you WILL need to buy the add ons in order to increase your vault capacity. Additionally, you’ll still get stuck on a few amenities because the upgrades cost more then 15.8 M and the vault capacity for level 10 caps at 15.8 M. Another part that really bugs me is that I have all these gems I can’t spend on staff for certain amenities in my truck stop because the staff for those doesn’t unlock until I have vault level 11 (which doesn’t exist!) It was fun while it lasted…. Just disappointed now that I can’t do anything more in the game and updates don’t come out fast enough.

I play a ton of games like this, but I have never come across one that makes it impossible to finish. I got the vault maxed out which only holds $15.8 million dollars, but I’m now to a point where finishing upgrades cost far more than $15.8 million dollars. Therefore, I can not move on in the game! I paid for everything in the beginning because I hate ads. And that was like $30 bucks. I’m either missing something with this game or they are ripping of their users! I’d like to finish the game, but there’s no where in TruckStopTycoon for help or to reach out to the developers! Don’t know what to do. Maybe complain to Apple? Just a warning to anyone who wants to play, don’t pay if you you plan on finishing the game, because you’ll become rather upset when you’re generating over $1 Billion dollars in profit, but your vault only holds $15.8 million dollars. It makes no sense.

I’m definitely disappointed in the amount of adds every time I click on 3 different places to upgrade my objectives it would throw in a add. Secondly I am very disappointed with you having to pay to play. I upgraded a lot of my parking spaces and gas stations but if you do not pay to make your vault bigger than you will just be playing this game for a week maybe 2. It would be nice to have been able to get them all to the same rank and then having a stopping point for unpaid players. And the vault is only able to upgrade to level 10 which was done very fast. If you want to have customers pay so much to keep playing it should definitely have some stuff for us to know. I thought maybe I was going to be able to meet a objective to upgrade it past 10 and if I would have known I would have found a different game I could have slowly kept playing. I was enjoying it but very disappointed

Before I downloaded this from an Instagram ad I always check reviews, someone mentioned something about eventually getting stuck at a paywall and I see what they mean hence why I’m giving it 1 star but it has potential if they ever change that.

In order to keep advancing you need to upgrade your “bank” called the “vault” and eventually you can only upgrade your vault to the point where you can hold 500k and the upgrade cost to unlock more space is 1million 🤔. The only way to reach the potential space to hold that much money is through buying the premium bonuses they offer in the in-game store, forcing you to spend 5$ at the minimum to continue to unlock the rest of the content for a game that caps out pretty quickly. I know it’s only five dollars but at the rate you will finish upgrades the game would probably only last a week max. Cool idea, has potential, needs work though.

This game is pointless but more importantly incomplete. I paid for the no ads and also paid for the manager kit to increase income. In retrospect it was not worth it, theres no point to this game, log in select something to upgrade and research then wait and repeat, cant upgrade vault past level 10 and theres things that cant be upgraded or purchased till vault level 11, my vault maxes out at 15.8 million and theres things that require 19 million to upgrade so cant do them. The money per minute is way off i make, supposedly, 59 million per min and have a vault that holds 15.8, yet takes 2-4 min to fill up when i should basically be filling it in just about 16 seconds. Dont waste your time or money on this game, theres no management its not an idle game, i dont know what this game is because its just repetitive yet pointless, you upgrade stuff to see more variety of trucks?

While it has potential to be a decent game/time killer there is a lot to be desired. Understand the ads and have no problem with that aspect even to the point of paying the fee to remove. However even after that there’s no way to move beyond the initial phase without spending more. The vault will only upgrade to hold $5M and initial phases of the progress require more than that (1 week in). So you have to purchase employees to expand the vault capacity and then after that you can upgrade all of the things in your “truckstop” but then nothing left to do. No upgrade to bigger and better things just spend some money and get roughly two to three weeks of entertainment and then simply do nothing. At this point not worth spending anything on. They did a good job of getting a few dollars but wouldn’t recommend at this point.

I do not understand why you cant upgrade the vault more. I have hit a wall where i cant get more then 8.5 millon dollars which means i can never upgrade everything because some cost more then that to upgrade. I do love the game so this makes me sad. I dont wanna stop playing the game but i will have to soon because of this problem. I hope this can get fixed soon.

Good game, good concept but in order to max everything out and go even further you have to pay out-of-pocket to even advance. They should have it where you can use diamonds instead of cash that you earn every day, but I am like many others. I’ve maxed out everything and can’t do anything anymore and I am not going to pay to play especially since I’ve almost maxed out everything except the things my vault level won’t let me do because you have to pay to get your vault level up high enough to even continue to max out everything and when she makes out everything you cannot even expand or nothing so they still need to work out stuff to be able to go on the point like expansion and a lot of other things, but I’m not the creator!

This is a fun idle game but is so obviously a money grab. You will never have enough vault space - Even if you fully upgrade your vault, you will need to hire staff if you want to increase your vault space, and the only way to do that is to pay with real money. I don’t mind spending a few bucks to get the ad-free version of a game, but they’re charging like $10 for no ads. Also, the chart they give you for how much money you’re making isn’t accurate, and you only make money idly if you exit out of the game for a long time. If you leave for 5 minutes and then come back it doesn’t pop up with how much money you made while you were gone. Decent game but it needs some work.
