usually ManGo works completely fine, but i opened ManGo today and nothing shows up. none of my watched, on hold, dropped, literally any section does not show anything.

App works well for the most part. One issue I’m having is that some anime (which does appear in my anime list) won’t appear in the search results

So far so good for my use case of tracking Manga and potentially Anime.

Only using this for an hour and there are some features I would like to see in the future:

At the moment it only shows the volume read and volume count. If possible can the chapters and score also be shown or have a setting to toggle which ones to show?

Can editing the volume and chapter be a scrolling drop down like the score? If not, tapping the 0 should highlight it or the insertion point should be to the right of the 0.

Can tapping the tabs at the bottom go back to the default page of that tab?

The design of ManGo is great compared to a lot of the other ones out there. The only thing what would make it even better is no rotation to landscape. I’m always updating the list in bed so my phone is sideways and it rotates making it a little annoying to use. A toggle to turn this off is would be the best.

It’s great to finally see an app designed for both iPad and iPhone. I have tried all of the other tracking apps and they all leave something to be desired design wise.

But unfortunately I moved from MyAnimeList to AniList so I won’t be able to use this. Hoping the dev realizes AniList would be a better alternative soon :).

The UI and gesture controls alone make the using MAL far more usable than the mobile site or official app. Especially now that the official MAL app is adding ads. The dev is also currently active on improving ManGo . So far there’s no reason not to at least try the free version which is very usable. The in-app purchase for ManGo is very affordable imo which is another plus.

Would it be possible to have the option to change the images since the only thing that bothers me is the quality of the covers but overall I like the way ManGo functions!

there’s not a lot of “good” animanga tracking apps (at least to me) and this by far is one of my favorite! i would love to see an option to log into a different anime tracking site (like anilist, anime-planet, etc) because i don’t have a myanimelist acc but i do have an anilist one. i can’t wait to see ManGo have more recognition!

Way better than the native MAL website interface, this app is a pleasure to use on the Vision Pro which just so happens to be where I consume most of my media these days.

ManGo is really well put together, and super pretty to boot! My only recommendation is airing notifications for seasonal shows, that would firmly move it from a 9.5/10 to a full 10/10 :)

This is seriously the best MyAnimeList app. It surpasses its peers in all regards. And if you go premium, it’s incredibly cheap which I respect a ton. ManGo creator is super responsive to feedback and will always lend you his ear.

There’s no reason for me to log into the site anymore. As long as the Dev supports ManGo I’ll be using MAL. Once he stops/the API becomes unusable I’ll delete my account and move to Anilist. Here’s to many more years of to a top notch app!

This is a clean view into MAL. It’s fast, and has easy preset actions to help track what you’re watching and when. Highly recommended as your iOS companion to the website.
