I have progressed beyond level 300. I have also completed 4 months of daily puzzles. I have nearly 100,000 stars with which to buy makeover items- but I cannot unlock any of the rooms to be be made over. I have contact support TWICE but never have received any kind of response. All this game is for me is one that should be called “Match 3 Tiles” since that’s all I can do.
Also, I very much resent having to watch an ad to play a round, then have to watch another when stuck, AND THEN yet another ad in order to collect the prize for winning/completing that round. Despite this, I kept playing with the belief that eventually I would unlock a room. That never happened and the developers never responded, so it’s being deleted once I submit this review.
If paying the $6 for no ads is the only was to get more rooms, then state this somewhere!! I would have paid it early on to avoid so many long, annoying, and LONG ads that often require 4 or more clicks to get past. BYE-BYE

I used to love this game, but it made all of these extra changes. I wish it would’ve left it how it originally was. I downloaded it because they didn’t do too much and the only thing you got to do was play the level and fix the rooms which was different and unique from other games. However, now you have a rank girl standing in the middle of the room your redesigning and all these extra things you can do. I know you may think we’ll just don’t do them but it sends you at least 100 different pop ups while you’re just trying to play the game. I’m not a hater I’ve never don’t anything like this but I’m passionate about this game. Used to be so good.

Playing the actual levels is pretty fun but all the ads get annoying. Edit: I don’t mind watching an ad here or there after a level or for a some coins… but you have to watch an ad for the daily login reward. They have a little thing where you beat so many levels in a certain time and you have to watch an ad to get each individual reward. You literally have to watch an ad to get ANYTHING. plus the forced ads after beating a level. And yes, you can pay to get rid of ads but this game isn’t good enough to warrant spending real money.

I was loving the game but started having glitches so that the game would ‘seem’ to load but them would just go back to my iPad home screen. For awhile, I could delete app and reinstall and it would start working again but now it just loads and when you hit ‘start,’ it will just go back to iPad home screen. I have plenty of memory so not sure why this keeps happening. Can someone offer help with this?

I’ve been playing for a few weeks, and it is fun and relaxing to play and match the tiles and after every 4 tile levels, you get to go in and do a medical treatment level. But once you reach level 38 the treatments stop, and the next level says, “coming soon.” But it doesn’t come and I’ve played multiple tile levels in between but the entire reason I downloaded the game was to HELP HER with the medical treatments. I don’t think the game is very well developed and the only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because the tile levels are fun enough. Still, no reward for beating those levels really disappoints!

I love this game. I really do. But paying to remove ads is a huge waste. $6 and I wrongfully assumed it would remove the ads between every few rounds and the ones connected to the calendar bonus levels. NOPE. It only removed the short 15 second ads that pop up every now and then, and I’m pretty aggravated I wasted that much on that. I can’t even use bonus items without watching ANOTHER ad even though the bonus item was from a calendar bonus level I had to watch an ad just to play. If I could I would get my money back. Waste of money that was way too high to spend on next to nothing on an app.

It’s a great tile game. I like it better than most, including the interior concepts. However, I TRULY HATE the character that’s always there. I wish there was at least a feature to turn viewing her off or just keep her in the mini game section. And even if you do the gross mini games she NEVER changes her appearance, ever. If we’re being forced to always see her, can we at least customize her at some point?! (Similar to the interior design feature) Sheesh! She ruins the aesthetic, dramatically. I absolutely hate that visual feature of the game so much.

I love this game, I played it so much! My only complaint is that now it feels like a waste to even keep the game because I have waited for a month for the game to update with new rooms and levels and nothing. The normal game play doesn’t get overwhelmed with adds, is really calming and has a good balanced difficulty level. Monthly calendars are fun however this to gets affected by lack of updates. It was a week into the month before the months calendar was available. The daily levels for the month calendar are played the day of unless you have to watch an ad, which is fair, but forcing me to watch an ad on the days that I wanted to play but couldn’t because you didn’t update the game is very unfair. I’m on level 1356. I adore the game but I can’t give it five stars when it feels like they aren’t giving any attention to the game with updates.

The game's mechanics, though mid at best, offer a brief diversion for makeup enthusiasts. However, its repetitive nature quickly becomes apparent, leaving players yearning for more substance.

Gramercy to the developers for attempting to capture the essence of makeup artistry, but the execution leaves much to be desired. The promised creativity and innovation are overshadowed by mundane tasks and uninspired challenges.

Moreover, the interface and graphics, while serviceable, don't quite live up to the glossy sheen depicted in pre-release screenshots. Instead of immersing players in a vibrant world of beauty, it feels more like navigating through a digital fungus-infested makeup drawer.

In conclusion, Makeup Tile is a game with potential, but it ultimately fails to deliver on its grand promises. Its lackluster gameplay and mismatched expectations make it a forgettable experience in the crowded mobile gaming market.

This game is generally fun. However, the part I signed up for (the fun, oozy body stuff) was only fun and interactive for a few levels. As you advance the amount of interaction, asmr, and options dropped off significantly. At higher levels you touch the screen a few times and then have to go back to the tile game (which is okay but so many better options if I just want to match). It’s like development effort was put in for a few levels and then “meh, who cares!” and the screen shots that are shown to entice you to download are totally bogus too!

Was loving the game. At level 1000 nearly, the makeup sessions for the Help Her girl stopped like 920 levels ago. Keeps saying updates coming soon. But I can see looking back over all the reviews that apparently people have been waiting on those updates at least 2 years now. And you guys give the same response to everyone nearly. However aside from that I enjoy the room makeovers also. Even the ads aren't that bothersome to me. I considered myself pretty good at it but now, last 3 days have been trying all day to get thru 1 level. Makes it impossible after you match like 3-5 times then can't do anymore more matches. Basically unless you have stars saved up to buy more time on a particular round you're screwed and stuck. I've even tried deleting MakeoverTile as I would seriously rather start from the very very beginning than keep putting up with this, but yep as I saw in previous reviews, you can delete it. But when you download it again it starts you right where you left off, screwed. So has been fun for awhile but I'm highly disappointed (yes I expected it to get harder but not impossible ).

I bought the gold pass and it was a rip off, it didn’t do anything it said it would. I’d like a refund on it actually. The mini games would be better if we actually had control of the tools. In the mini games all you’ll do is sit there and watch it like a video. Once in a while you might get to pull something out but it’s not satisfying as it makes it out to be. The game is difficult and I get angry and I always come back to it. Mini games are a joke, it was why I downloaded the game in the first place and I am very dissatisfied.

I obviously enjoy this game, but a couple of months ago, I ran out of levels to solve, and rooms to decorate. So I went back to March, and watched an ad apiece for the privilege to complete each daily puzzle I’d missed. Still nowhere to use the 94,000+ stars to redo rooms. For months, it says “coming soon” for new content, which has made me dis-contented! For awhile, I will continue to do the daily puzzles, and the recent event (first one since I ran out of content months ago) entertained me, but eventually, with the lack of new challenges, I will add it to my list of “good game, but . . . “ I wish it were not so, but I am disappointed.

It’s colorful, not too hard, not to easy, and a lot of variety. It really is a NICELY done app!
I WILL be glad, however, when they can catch up with themselves. I’ve completed everything they’ve created, including both Journey and Challenge…yet their new updates are still COMING SOON. It’s been a quite a few weeks, now. Months, actually. It’s hard to understand why. But…I guess (hope) they’re still trying.

The graphics in the game are great, the animations when building are smooth and satisfying. The levels are fun to play as well. Overall this is a great game. So, why have I rated it 4 stars and not 5? This game claims to be both a home/room designing app and a makeover game. (By the way, when I say makeover I mean makeovers as in doing makeup and skincare things.) So far I have only seen the home designing part. Though I have not been playing this for a very long time, I feel like if all of your previews of your app have makeover images, your game should have makeovers. However, even without the makeover part it is still a great game. I just think it would be better with the makeover part you claim to have. Thank you for reading! 😊

(P.S. I haven’t been playing this for too long, so if there is makeover parts of this game I will happily change my review.)

I love this game I can’t tell you how much I have played this game since I got it but it is not like the ad because there is no pimple popping or anything. Also it is sometimes hard to get the currency because when you need like 500 stars you have to play the games more than once because you only get 100 stars at a time. Besides those two things I love this game and I have no intention of deleting it off my phone any time soon and I would highly recommend it to perfectionists because everything in the game is perfect. Love love love the game and you should download it too. (Also there are almost no adds)

I love this game! It’s so fun to challenge yourself to advance levels, and the room decor feature is my favorite. Only problem is that I have finished all the rooms, and have been waiting weeks for new ones. The same can be said for the daily puzzles. I finished everything through October and am still waiting for the new daily’s for November & December. It’s a great game that I really enjoy playing, but sadly, it’s way behind on updates.

Although the tile matching is fun and super calming, I think that it should be worth more stars. For example every time you go up about 10-30 levels you should get a extra 10-30 stars. I Just wish I got more stars at once considering that everytime you go up a level the home designs are worth more. But all in all this is not a necessity and I love this game!

I never write reviews, but I love this game, and I’m so addicted to it that I felt it deserved a review on top of the 5 stars I’m giving it.
The levels are challenging, yet not so difficult that I get aggravated. I feel accomplished after winning, and then again when I finish a remodel. And I love that it’s not cartoon or crappy graphics when it comes to the remodeling. It looks real, tasteful, and the choices are all beautiful. Will definitely recommend this game!

Hey. This is like the 5th beauty app ive tried and the other ones all disappointed me because they werent as realistic as id like. but this one is. and you wont get bored either because theres two other games included. sorting and house design. both of which i like. and MakeoverTile is different because when you run out if hearts, they load back in fast or you can pay 20 coins which is easy to get. and there’s 5 hearts total you can have at most. thanks for your time to whoever is reading this and i hope you have fun! 😊

I really love this game. There is so much to do. If I run out of lives on the main game I can play the other game to wait for my lives to refill. I can’t wait to finish enough stars to help the people. While it’s pretty gross I just need to see them better! And then I love the decorating part too. Although the ads are not too bad I paid the $2 anyway because I don’t mind paying a little for a game I really enjoy. Cheaper than a movie and lasts a whole lot longer! Finally a dev who understands you can’t sell your product while advertising for other ones. Just make a great game people will love to keep playing.

When i first saw the ad to this game, i wanted it instantly! Once i started to play the game, i fell in love with it! I’m now on level 523. If I’m going to be honest, this game clears my mind, and relieves stress. If you get stuck, you just watch a short ad to help you. And the best part is, you get to pick the designs you want instead of them picking for you! This game is clearly the best game I’ve ever played! I’ve had this game for a 1/2 now and nothing can take its 1. Spot!!!

I love the game play and the room design is even more fun. I also like the fact that it isn’t timed, so you can stop in the middle of a level if you need to with no penalty. I’ve also spent very, very little actual money on this game because the coins you earn really seem to last a long time. Very enjoyable - I play it everywhere, including when I’m sitting at a red light!

Coming from a 9 year old girl I love this game there are no ads that get in your way and it is such an awesome game! You can choose to get double of what you have but it takes 1 as and that’s it. It so much fun and some people have a different opinion of the game but I really recommend this game for anyone it is soooooo much fun I really enjoyed playing it it’s my new fav game except for Roblox it’s my FAVORITE 🤩 but 😊 enjoy it

So its an amazing game it doesn’t really require any internet only when loading a little bit and there aren’t any adds unless ur getting extra stars or like for a special decoration anything like that but on to my question why does the new screen on MakeoverTile have a mother and a daughter like crying it looks like one of those adds and they do everything like that but then I realized that it was just the screen and not the game but i still finding it questionable idk

This is a great game that I totally recommend for you and the actual game is better than the quote on quote candy crush but the on thing is when you have finished the level it only says go back to the house or something like that I want to be able to repeatedly go to the next level but otherwise I really enjoy this game and I hope you do too👍

I’m on level 341 and I absolutely love this game. I play it all the time in my free time. So many different styles and fun decorations. They also let you watch videos to get more stars and also daily bonuses. You can pick whatever background you want for the tile match part and they’re all so cute! I’ve only had it for a few weeks but it’s the only game I never get tired of playing! Definitely download it 🥰!

I love this game because the levels aren’t too hard or too easy and at the moment I’m on the private villa level! The only thing that I have to say is that when you get to decorating the fireplace, the two fireplaces on the sides are swapped. It doesn’t affect my playing experience, but someone just might wanna know if you are confused! But over all one of my favorite games!❤️

So far, I’ve gotten very few ads, and everything has been working out! The options for furniture could be a bit more vast, but overall the game is a full success. Amazing for releasing anxiety, trying to go to sleep, or even just passing time and having fun! Would definitely recommend!

I love this game! There’s no plot or side-quests, so you can pick it up, leave it for a while, then pick it up again without falling behind. You can play for hours on the bus, or for a few minutes in the bathroom, and still put it down feeling satisfied with the game. The levels are challenging, but not so hard that you get frustrated or feel the need to spend loads of money to advance; and if you do get stuck, you can watch a 30 second ad and get the ability to reshuffle tiles or add a second row. So many games out there say they’ll help reduce stress, but this is the only one I’ve found that actually does that (for me, at least). Highly recommend.
