I have played dozens upon dozens of these games, including from Domini. This is the first time I ever wanted my money back. The glitches were infuriating and recurred even when I started over. Bah. A waste of time, effort, and money.

The game doesn't even open, just like their very first games,
the updates and subsequent "fixes" that introduced more bugs into previous games, including causing them to crash. These issues also continued within the last few years reported by fellow gamers. I would give them 0 stars if I could for not caring about their customers as well as wasting my time writing these reviews.

After paying $7.99 for the Deluxe , I’ve now come across a puzzle that will not work as shown too on you tube on my iPad Pro & now I’m stuck because unless I finish the game to get the nxt object I can’t do anything. So $ wasted !

Near the end of the game, you go through the vanity mirror and have to put together a shovel and dig up a puzzle. The puzzle ring spins but you cant connect any images because the side arms with the other halfs of the pictures won’t extend.
Would have liked to complete the game.

I am unable to finish the game. I have played it 4 times, trying to get past the basement kitchen. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, to no avail. I always get stuck in the same spot. Many of the hints will point you to a place, where you cannot do anything. Or, you have already completed. I did contact support, they basically told me, they know about the Problems, there might be an update to fix it. But as of now there is no way to finish the game I Paid for. They also suggested I go ahead and ask Apple for a refund. Even they have no faith in the game. Save your time, effort, and money on this one.

After looking though the most recent reviews, apparently this has been a longtime on going problem.

Need to update this game. It’s very glitchy. It won’t let me move forward due to some of the actions get lost. Example: Kate’s room - dancers disappear and the grill won’t go up since the girls disappear. Also there is an annoying background noise that won’t go away. It’s not part of the game. I’ve restarted my iPad, deleted MysticalRiddles and reinstall and I still get the same issues. I purchased the deluxe version. Very frustrating.

I started playing the game and really liked it. But when I went to unlock it, it just wouldn’t do it and then gave me an error message about not being able to connect to the Apple server. I went to my Apps app and it was working just fine. No connection problem. Also, it looks like there was some attempt to put a price tag on unlocking the game, but the price was $22.8. Huh?

I purchased this game and after getting so far into it, could not move forward in the game without purchasing the Deluxe version. Then I got to Chapter 4 & after pushing the skip button for the gears game, was not able to grab the iron bar. Now I am unable to use it to spring the trap to get the bolt cutters and cannot move forward in the game. All of the scenes say there is nothing more to do. This is the 2nd Domini game in a row that I purchased, but cannot finish. I would like to be refunded!

UPDATE: I reinstalled and was able to start playing, however this was the worst game I have played in a while. I have had 3 HO scenes freeze and I was only able to move forward by playing the match 3 option. Movement from scene to scene was excruciatingly slow, and the touch sensitivity was absolutely awful. Also, in the bonus game I was unable to finish because no actions were available. I even checked the strategy guide which I never use, and it was no help. I will leave my rating at a 1 for this game.

I absolutely love these types of games! I didn’t have glitches or mistakes happen. I was really enjoying playing then it stopped and said I had to PAY for the rest of the game! I was very frustrated because I was deep into the story and excited to see what came next! I am not going to pay for something that would end after getting bored or finishing it. I am super dissatisfied and disappointed.😔

I’m beyond frustrated. I’m deep in the game and cannot move forward because the action it says I need to take will not work. I used the hint and it shows me the place in the room to click but there is nothing there. It’s a corner in the room and nothing is there. I paid for the full game, happily but this is just not cool.

Like other reviewers have stated I’m unable to proceed because there’s nothing to grab at the dear alma level. Keeps telling me there is something but nope. Spent money on this game too. It’s otherwise a good game. Please fix or let us have another game free.

There is a part in the game where if your playing on the phone you can pull the piece forward only side to side for the metal circle puzzle where you have to put wooden pieces together to get the images no matter how many times I’ve clicked to move them forward it only goes side to side I want to finish the game but I’m stuck on this part but watching other people play on the laptop and you should be able to move them forward just not on your mobile device

Ok, so I liked the game and thankfully got through the whole main game with only minor issues, but wasn’t able to complete the bonus game. Everything was great until I got to the “My Dear Alma” lockbox in the attic. After I finished the puzzle it froze and I had to close out the game and go back in. At this point whatever I was supposed to grab isn’t there. The hint kept directing me to the lock box but nothing is there to grab. I’m thinking I was supposed to grab the picture but due this a glitch I wasn’t able to continue with the game. This is frustrating when you pay for a game. You expect to be able to finish the entire game. Money is entirely too hard to come by today to throw away on a game that can’t be completed.

Please go back to the mystery tales as this new series is falling a lottos flat.

So far I like the game. Love the puzzles. I am having difficulty with moving on to the next part of the game after getting the spell book out of the pantry. I use it at the mirror and nothing happens. I even restarted the game, same result. Any suggestions?

In case some of you didn’t notice, this series is the replacement series for Mystery Tales. Instead of magical glasses you use a camera to reveal paranormal anomalies. The storyline was one we have seen in many Elephant games, so Oleg is a copycat! Think ghosts and Haunted Hotel, lol!
The game itself was decent. The storyline wasn’t innovative, but the characters were interesting. I enjoyed the HO scenes and most of the mini- games. There were slight touchscreen sensitivity issues, but still better than in many Domini games. Inventory usage was repetitive, for the most part. Fanning away smoke, digging, using gloves to move thorns, but there were a few new inventory items to use. We definitely need more innovation in this area!
My biggest issue was that the collectibles indicator circles did not light up to inform us which collectible was to be found, causing me the inability to locate all collectibles and I was therefore unable to complete my darkroom. That is poor quality assurance and should have been detected! The game was on the brief side, inclusive of the bonus adventure.
My rating will remain at 4 stars. Had I been able to obtain all of the collectibles I probably would have added half a star!
UPDATE: There is a new game out called Tearstone-Thieves. I have never heard of the developer. Do not purchase this game! It is extremely expensive ($9.99) and very short. It also had poor quality assurance and did not allow access to the strategy guide for which you paid. The developer made excuses and I was extremely taken aback. I have requested a refund. I do not want you to make the same mistake I did!

I really enjoyed this new series, it’s kinda like mystery tales which I loved. The storyline held my interest the whole time. Thank you again.

So far this game is fun. Usual good quality we are used to with this developer. The table of contents looks small. I am only on Chapter 2, so don’t know if the actual game play will be short or not. 😳. If future games have less content than we are used to, then hope price will be reduced. For far I have been willing to pay $7 per game.
