They made it so you could just log on and use ThemeMe but you can’t use the functions on your phone without a temporary hold on your form of payment. Keep in mind, that if you don’t want ThemeMe , you have to CANCEL. How is it Free if you have to cancel a so called FREE APP. Truly a con job!

Refund my money. The ad made it seem like there are some cool 3D effects to choose from. That’s not the case. Everything is very plain and ordinary. Absolutely nothing special here. And the price? What a rip off!! Edit: Reading back in the reviews, I see that they have been making the same hollow promise of delivering the features that the customer has already paid for. Just be patient. Some of those reviews list the exact issue that I’ve mentioned. They are from 2021. They got the same response that I did: it’ll be in the next update.

I took a screen shot of a theme advertised because I really wanted it, was willing to pay for it but it apparently doesn’t exist off the advertisement.

Disappointing for sure, it looked like a gravity moving wallpaper with a quartz background and purple and gold 3D looking icons.

I took the subscription and less then 2 minutes of looking into it, I disliked ThemeMe and went to remove my subscription and now it won’t let me unsubscribe. What a scam.

Unsubscribe me from ThemeMe, I refuse for pay $5.99 per week when I used ThemeMe for less then 2 minutes.

This does not work the way you would hope. It leverages configuration profiles and shortcuts causing multiple app windows to be open for every app for which you want to use the themed icon. Not nearly as many options as you would hope for either. Waste of money in my opinion.

So I did the three day trial. I looked through ThemeMe to see what they had. I tried one of the themes and did the configuration. But it turns out that the new icons for apps are just shortcuts that open another window to open the regular app of whatever your trying to use. Kind of defeats the purpose of having new app icons that look cool but they’re just shortcuts to open the real app.

The charging animations are cool but there are better ones out there that you can get for free.

Lastly, and this is the most hilarious. The wallpapers they offer. Which look cool at first glance. But after downloading a couple I took a closer look at a few of them. The wallpapers are AI generated images that they got off of an AI service like ChatGPT, saved them and probably did a few tweaks to it and are now essentially selling them for 24$ a month. Wow. This was the final nail for me. This reeks of something scammy.

The exorbitant prices they want in exchange for what they have is simply not worth it. It’s sub par. It’s cheap. Do not fall for this whoever reads this. You will regret every dollar you lose.

I feel like the people that created ThemeMe missed a great opportunity to make the best money from it. Instead of making this a subscription based app at $5 a week or $29 a year, why not just charge a flat fee for ThemeMe ? That way you’re always making money from anyone that downloads ThemeMe . Most people don’t want to pay a subscription fee and if you read the reviews here, most of the complaints about ThemeMe are the same - “nice app, but way to expensive subscription fee”. Some developers find any way they can to stay in your wallet. 🤦

it would’ve great im not complaining much but carol in the raiting on app definitely lied 😂im not professional at rating but ThemeMe definitely isnt worth it AT ALL. I already have to pay 5$ for A WEEK just to have an animation on my phone. The 3-day free trial isnt even worth it itself. ThemeMe is one big scam because im absolutely not going to pay a lot for my phone to look good.

It’s not free, and without purchasing, ThemeMe doesn’t let you do anything. 5.99/$week is minimum to pay to proceed and do some modifications. The developer does not mention this at all before downloading. There are no free themes, you have to pay the 6$ weekly. BE AWARE..

First of all I’ll say that if you like throwing away/giving money to someone who instead of working at a real job, scams IPhone users into paying outlandish “Weekly Subscription Fees” to gain the ability to personalize their overpriced, underperforming & underdeveloped telephone (I do mean Telephone as the IPhone as a whole cannot be classified as a Smartphone since nothing about the IPhone could ever be classified as “Smart” considering that everything about IPhone every step of the way is completely stupid)
Then here’s ThemeMe for you!

Or if you don’t like paying.. Weekly…. for simple basic features then I’d chuck that IPhone in the nearest river & go buy a phone made by literally ANY OTHER COMPANY!!!! & then you won’t have to pay through the nose “WEEKLY” just to change the color of a widget

I paid 30 dollars for everything I try to fail. Literally nothing is working, not the charging animation or wallpaper. How do I go about getting my money back since I haven’t been able to access or do anything on ThemeMe .

I downloaded ThemeMe to see what it was about and shortly after I downloaded it I realized it wasn’t something I would use. I was then charged for a subscription that I never wanted and in turn locked my Apple ID because of this unauthorized purchase and put my bank account into the negative. I am very displeased. I do not recommend.

They said there was a three day trial and then I would be charged. They took out seven dollars out of my bank account as soon as I download it and they don’t have any of the themes they show in the preview. I want my money back.

Don’t like when direction tells you how to do the transparent screen shot and it doesn’t work and tells you to upload the screenshot but doesn’t upload the screenshot background for your widgets app

I can't get rid of the changes to my screen and other things that I did. I was just messing around with the features and now I have multiple screens with the same apps on each one, just looking different. Now I can't undo this even after I delete it. The changes are still present. But I must be fair I'm not what you would call tech-savvy, but I just want to get rid of this program and all of the changes!

Please make it so people DON’T have to pay for a subscription, let it be free you’re making money off of people buying it just to delete. I was so excited until I had bought it and read another review about the subscription!! So, please think about not having everyone who gets ThemeMe have to pay for a subscription, more people might even get it if you don’t have to have everyone get a subscription

I tried it, but do not want to purchase it, but it will not go away. You cannot use your phone when you’re charging your phone because it just keeps popping on and cutting you off of everything you’re doing. There’s absolutely no way to make it go away. you can’t use CarPlay because a whole time you’re trying to use your map it keeps popping on because you got your cord plugged in and it’s charging and have a charger on it. It won’t go away.

The whole App is trash, It’s not a lot of choices, I have a iPhone, and the widgets & wallpapers looks like it’s for Androids. If it had good wallpapers and widgets it would’ve been better.

Instead it’s more like three hundred dollars a year. They advertise it as free with some in app purchases but after you install it ThemeMe rolls over to six dollars a week for the base.

Very pricy. A couple -three free weeks to start them it is a giant cash suction hose.

Nothing it tells you to do makes sense or works. Cannot set anything up or use any options. App completely does not work even after paying the annual subscription. No help options or settings options. What little instruction I could find takes a tremendous amount of steps back and forth in my phone settings for each option, and still doesn’t give me the result for what I’m choosing. Not at all user friendly.

ThemeMe is not worth it it’s complicated to use. please don’t download. I uninstalled ThemeMe and the widgets are still on my phone. I’m trying to cancel before the three day trail and there is no option.

This is from my opinion and from my experience, and not to derive people from
ThemeMe.

I can see this having lots of potential as the widgets and charging animations and basically everything seem really cool. But not 5.99 a week cool. If you can afford that, cool you can do what you want it seems awesome but when I save by only having peacock and Netflix (I am considering Disney+) it is not worth it AT ALL. That’s 15-20 a month or 180+ A YEAR! I saw no free widgets or anything, not even the worst ones I could find were free. So it seems pretty cool, and I did not buy the subscription but It doesn’t seem worth it.

I was really looking forward to using ThemeMe. I found it hard to navigate ThemeMe . I downloaded icons and they didn’t work. I just deleted ThemeMe and cancelled my subscription the same day.

I paid full for year. The tutorial does not show you how to install the charging effect and others. I tried to do it in my own and was partially successful but when I charge my phone and it is locked, it asked me for my passcode in order to see the animation. I had sent a message for support and got no help at all.

$24 per month equals $288 a year so basically your paying $300 yearly for themes which are not that much to choose from. Only a few with that type of yearly expense not just themes I would expect but live backgrounds and ringtones should be included . I did like the charging background very easy to set up but for the amount they’re requesting they lost me. With the little bit of themes that they offer not working the 300 yearly amount withdrawn of your cards.

ThemeMe is a good app. Because some themes and stuff like that do work. It’s just that the pay Kent is kinda brutal… 5 DOLLARS A MONTH!!!!!! I mean come on you do know that some people can easily run out of money like that right? Any ways ThemeMe is kinda good but just saying if you want to get better reviews try to make the subscription money less

Charger only works with phone unlocked, not a lot of icons to use and crashes loading themes. I only paid for 1 year if not I woulda cancelled. They can do better with how it works and transparent photo with widgets is not working.

I really like the photos and wallpapers and the charging animations they look really really good and the people behind ThemeMe have some really good taste, but I basically scrolled through the whole entire app and I couldn’t find anything that was free to install or I overlooked some parts of ThemeMe but maybe as a recommendation add a search bar so that people are able to find the photos, wallpapers, and charging animations. ThemeMe that a lot of potential and everything looks very good and smooth keep up the good work👍😁

**Update** The couple of free widgets aren’t plentiful or very useful. There are no free anything, but those couple widgets, unlike what some of the other reviews are saying! Again, the only way to enjoy anything free is to do the trial, but make sure you immediately cancel the subscription. $5.99 a week is insanely expensive. Advice to the developer, do a one time fee of $25 and you might have a successful app.

**Original message: ThemeMe is not free except for a couple day trial. So if you don’t wanna pay the expensive fees just to use ThemeMe every great once in a while, make sure that you download what you need and cancel the subscription immediately.

I have premium for the year! Who doesn’t want their phone to look different then standard Apple, without jailbreaking. Yet, after personalizing transitioning to applications, when using custom icons on the Home Screen, will first jump you to a this app page before getting you to ThemeMe you selected. The transition with icons is not smooth, which takes the appeal out of custom icons. The charging screens don’t run smoothly as well. I consistently get a pop up asking if this app is allowed to run the charging screen, again making it lose its appeal. The available options to customize are okay , but was expecting a lot more options. I hope to see improvement over the year, or I don’t think I will be repurchasing.

I downloaded it because the ad showed some cool abstract themes. I don’t see the themes shown in the ad and over half of my icons aren’t on it so I decided not to use the icons until more are added or I have time to make them myself. The charging animation is cool but for $30 I should enjoy more than the charging animation. I’ll probably cancel the annual subscription if I don’t see any updates soon.

ThemeMe has a lot of really cool stuff in it! I especially love the themes you can apply to your home screen that change your app icons. My one and only issue with ThemeMe is if you have any issues whatsoever your only help is the instructions within ThemeMe and your own ingenuity. I’ve personally had trouble getting the Lock Screen widgets to work, and after the instructions couldn’t fix the issue, there is absolutely no online help at all. I’ve actually only found one video online referencing ThemeMe . Overall I like it, but I’d really like some extra help.

So it fun and all so whenever it charges it doesn’t do it well and I have to open it to show it doesn’t work as well as the add NO HATE this is good everyone isn’t always perfect if you could fix this that would be great! This is an ultimate great app, I don’t recognize my phone! If your a person like me then you like to change things every few months or weeks 😅. But when I open the apps from the icon it opens a second browser before actually opening the icon I clicked on. Overall this is a great app to have. I’m excited to see what’s next when it unlocks my payment! Also I see the options for the plans in my subscription but where are the plans listed on the site? What’s the difference between custom and premium?

ThemeMe is great, lots of cool themes and animations. My only request from my part would be to make it possible to to initiate the animation when phone is locked. When Face ID unlocks phone, then it play the animation.

Overall great app, definitely would recommend.

What you can improve is to give more days for the test and to have no restrictions at all. And for premium there are more features...
And the icon is very juuuicy, it looks like it looks on the desktop, as if there is animation. 5 star

I love acidic themes, there are plenty of them here, not like our competitors, which are all pastel and anime, but here there are more brutal ones. And in general there are more functions, I signed up for this amount before, but there were only wallpapers, but here there are widgets and cool charging. Worth the money

Works well, just pay close attention to the directions. I love some of the themes and widgets. I just wish there were much more. A high price subscription for the not so many wallpapers, themes, or widgets compared to other apps out there that offer these items. I do love the charging animated items offered. I decided to pay for the yearly subscription and I will determine when the subscription expires to as if I will renew or not. I guess it depends on how much more is added. A one time lifetime purchase would be nice though. 5 Stars I give, for now.

I put this five stars so people read this. Ok, I get it. You want your phone to be cool, and a fun theme. But when you get ThemeMe, it doesn’t even work! You try to click download, but then it just goes straight to “get premium for like 10 dollars a month”, and your like, “WHAT?”. I’m not trying to throw these creators under the bus but don’t do this for the money. Do it for people so they can be aesthetic, and cool. Don’t add premium. I doubt if people even get premium then it will work. So creators, if you read this, fix it, or scrap it. That’s what I’m saying and I hope you guys understand that.

This is the first time I’ve seen something like this, so that you can make hearts from icons, I installed it for Valentine and don’t want to change it yet. Although there are other cool ones there. And the themes are not bad either, but I like standard colors, I just customized the form for myself, now I don’t miss))

I did something cool, I have photos of my kids on the main screen, and I made the icons in the shape of a circle, and it turned out like a little sun) It's just better if the background is contrasty, some icons blend in. Download confidently if you want to have a unique screen.

I kept seeing their ads on fb, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Overall, not bad, I ve an iPhone 13 Pro, lots of themes to choose from. You can animate the clock or see the songs artist.. I don't know, maybe you can already do that, but I'm not really savvvy with that stuff. But in ThemeMe , you can change everything quickly)

Car-themed themes are lit😻 there are plenty of ways to customize your phone, so if you want to spice up your home screen, you should give it a try. They have a trial period, which is convenient to evaluate before shelling out cash. Anyway, I recọmmend it

Just cool, especially the widgets. with charging it is not displayed as well as I expected, but it’s for a couple of times, show it to friends, and then you get used to it and don’t pay attention anymore. I'll give it 5*
