I guess this would be fun if you paid for no ads but the ads literally get caught on themselves. I got a full screen ad in what I assume is Japanese or Chinese and bc I can’t remotely understand it, and THERE WAS NO CLOSE BUTTON (I waited for like 5min) I can’t get out of it. I can click on this completely irrelevant ad but cannot continue the game. I have to close ScaryHorror2 to get out of the ad. Also, I got to a room where I solved a math puzzle but there was no way to enter the numbers so I used credits to get past it and the screen still was frozen after “skipping” it. I mean, I might be willing to pay for this game if I had a chance to actually explore it more. These developers need to lighten up on the first few puzzles to allow time to get into the game before hitting us with a no escape room of ads. I also work in advertising so these broken and super irrelevant ads infuriate me.

The game is fun and immersive, but some of the puzzles it has you solve are just stupid, like missing something because you didn’t click on the right tiny corner of an object. Beside that, I reached a certain point in the game where I couldn’t progress at all, even with hints revealing what to do in every puzzle, I still couldn’t progress forward without the crowbar, but the crowbar, or any other object, could not be found. I searched everything I could and used hints on everything, but still, couldn’t find a way to continue the game, so I’m severely disappointed because I was enjoying myself up until that point.

i’ve played a lot of escape room games and i give a lot of leeway to games like these because it’s all in good fun yk. but something about this game really irked me. i’m not a genius but a lot of the clues were so vague and there were little to no helpful dialogue from the character himself. i reached a point in the game where i had a hammer in my inventory as well as a “hammer with pry bar”. it all just gets so tedious at some point. i would click on something that was maybe too hard to see or just weird looking and the character would have nothing to say making me think it had nothing to do with the game. literally one the clues had you looking for numbers around the room. but one of the numbers was so small i didn’t even know it was a number and of course the character won’t tell me what it is. It just makes the game super annoying. the ads are an entire different monster but i understand that aspect. i just wish the character could give a little context clue every now and then. and it would literally be 1000 times better.

I have downloaded and and deleted several times because the game gets stuck , I then paid what I thought was $1.99 for no ads but it just took my money because I had to delete again and it says everything will be lost and deleted. If you can fix this game that I so love and it not keep getting stuck ( frozen) and also I was charged $$7.00 for what was supposed to be $1.99 ad removal!! Please help so I can continue my game that I have come to love and put so much time in I’m and then I get my money taken! I will give 5 stars if I get my money back and you just keep the 1.99 for ad removal and keep it from freezing ! Fix these things for 5 stars plz!!!!!!!

At first I was a bit let down at the length of the game, it’s got good puzzles that can really make you think for the solution even though it was so dang short and unfinished! But now all 3 chapters are available which makes this is one of the best and longest escape game I’ve ever played. Now it’s not perfect occasionally touchable items are obscured/hard to figure out, or some puzzles the visual cues/hints could be better, and don’t even get me started on the “hint” system(walkthroughs are easily found online I suggest doing that lol). Still the pros def outweigh the cons making the game more than worth your time and money.

It was really good literally addicting until I didn’t collect all the coins and couldn’t go to past locations to collect them all. I missed one coin….. I looked up the answer and I was too far gone so it was really disappointing. They should have a feature where if you’re missing some coins i can watch adds to get them or add more than a couple coins. Or let me go back to past locations no matter how far. I was close to finishing that’s too bad.

Loved this game but it was a little annoying that the hint button got in the way of a few puzzles. I had to collect hints just to get through three puzzles because, for one, the last “glass shard” was positioned just perfectly so that to pick it up, I would also trigger the swipe on my phone. For the other two, the hint button covered enough of the “paper” that I couldn’t make out what I needed to do or know to input. Otherwise, awesome game and long gameplay!

I’m definitely a lover of escape room games, and this one is no exception. The storyline is pretty good, and the puzzles are creative. I like that you have to use your critical thinking skills, but it’s also not impossible to figure out. I only have a couple of complaints… It would be great if there wasn’t an ad nearly EVERY time you went to a different room in the game, or left and came back to the game. I also hope that they continue to make more chapters or puzzles, I have already beat two escape room apps, and I hate having to wait for more games. My biggest peeve with this game, is the location of the hint tab. It definitely gets in the way when you are attempting to solve a puzzle, especially if there is a paper clue attached to the puzzle. The hint tab covers up the paper clue, which makes it very difficult to see the clue, if at all. I would recommend maybe putting it somewhere else on the screen, or shrinking it to possibly a single icon instead of an entire tab. Otherwise, this game is pretty great!

I very much enjoyed this escape room. It was challenging but not over the top that I was so lost I quit. My only issues were:
• with the mirror puzzle as someone else stated, a few pieces are too close to to bottom and I would grab my “exit out” bar and have to wait for the ad to clear.

• I didn’t mind watching a video to get a free hint when it was needed, however I too had glitches in the adds where they either continued to voice over while playing or the game would freeze or my whole device glitched. I did have to restart to game on 3 occasions and had to power down my device completely at one point bc it froze everything.
I’m not sure that you have control of the ads that play but it’s something to maybe mention. ( I also had either a Chinese Or Japanese ad that I couldn’t remove from my screen)

With just these 2 minor issues that I had I still rated this a 5. I very much enjoyed it over all and am looking forward to the new levels. Thank you!

Now I’ve played a number of escape room games from a variety of different developers, so I’m not that easy to impress.
I skipped the tutorial and dove right in. Had some initial difficulty selecting items from my in box, but once I got going, I was in the developers brain… and I had me some fun.
Once you figure out how to use the Hints, it’s on. Pay attention to the Hints “light”. It’ll keep you on track. AND… touch everything! I got stuck in the mud until I went back and double, and triple, checked every corner. Found what I missed - and done.

Had fun guys. Your turn. Didn’t cost a dime.

This puzzle game is awesome! I love the story line behind it. Because of the story line, it feels like there is a purpose to why you’re solving all these puzzles. The puzzles are challenging at times but not to the point where it drives you crazy! You can never truly predict what will happen next as you go from room to room and puzzle to puzzle. Once I completed chapter 1, I was so exited to play chapter 2 and you all did not disappoint one bit! Even after I played chapter 1 and 2, there are still questions about the storyline that remain unanswered (I will let whoever is reading this review to figure that out for themselves). I can’t wait to see what chapter 3 is going to be like! I am sure that it will be just a good as the last two. I wish you all the best of luck with the new chapter and keep up the great work!!

Suggestions for chapter 2:
-Perhaps the person you play as finds a room underneath the ground.
-Maybe a hidden room that the captor possibly did not want them to find.
-Or perhaps something to explain a little bit more about the medical history of the captor and who they are as a person (Family photos, personal belongings, his or her bedroom etc.).

A surprisingly excellent game. So many times I’ve come across games like this where the description sounds great and then you start playing just to be presented with poor user interface and lame puzzles. This, was totally different. I can definitely give it two thumbs up. Puzzles were adequately difficult, getting moved at a good pace and was definitely challenging. Looking forward to part three!

I saw your 1 star rating on ScaryHorror2 about the ads but once you get pass that this is a amazing game the puzzles are very fun is a mix of fun and scare my game also froze a couple times but I don’t think this is a bad game just because of that hey I managed to complete it so you can to and arpaplus go back to making these games these are amazing and these sound track really scare me because it gives a sense of you being alone but you have the sense of of someone watching you and I love what you did with the metal double door jump scare and I knew it was coming but it still scared me and it’s the perfect amount of hardness

Most escape games that I have played I found to be easy to solve and the quality of the graphics is poor. There is little to no story line usually. This escape game was actually challenging and had a great story line. Also, the adds were not insanely long like with some other game apps. You could easily tap out of an ad after 5 seconds, which helped make my experience more enjoyable. Overall I was very impressed and hope that the developers continue to make more installments! I highly recommend for those who enjoy a challenging escape game. This one is very detailed and will keep your brain turning.

I started this game for when I was stuck at school and would just play it after I was done but it got way more intense I would even ask my friends for help on the game and even in the car I would play it but the reason I love it would probably be the challenges and the intensesness (yes I’m aware that’s not a word) the puzzles may have been tricky but that’s what made it so fun so I definitely recommend downloading the game

Start with paying the $1.99 to skip commercials. It’s a one time charge and it’s worth it. As you’re going along, in the zone, the ads won’t slow you down. Free hints for watching an ad, always a plus. All the puzzles are solvable. Sharp graphics. Music is excellent. The amusement games were spot on. Nice twist to the ending. Very well done and entertaining. Sad to only give five stars. Would gladly give more. Cheers.

Nice and long with a very interesting storyline with great graphics. The ads were a bit annoying - frequent but not too long. Some of the puzzles were very challenging and I had to skip two of them, but most were fun. One clue in particular called for a hammer and a chisel, and I had both in my inventory but they wouldn’t work! Come to find out that there is another hammer that does work with the chisel. Pay attention to the hint button because if it lights up in that room that means there are puzzles left to solve. If you touch a scene and the hint button turns off, that means you’re done with that particular scene or object. It took me 3 days (several hours a day) to finish. Looking forward to the next chapter!

I was not paid anything to write this, in fact I rarely leave a review. This game was awesome so absolutely NO pop up ads. You watch them to gain hints if you need them. This game has three chapters and they all were pretty challenging to get through which was really nice to entertain me for over five hours. I completed all chapters and I enjoyed all the story’s and the narration was pretty enjoyable to get through. I liked the fact there were plenty of mini games to get through and to slow down the progression. I can’t wait to play more from this developer!

No ads, affordable in app purchases and a satisfying feeling of completing the game. I like the fact that it was two endings, adding to your play time to experience them both.

Great lead up, the ads had me intrigued, but then the game is nothing, but ads. Ads for hints and you need them because it’s hard to tell what to do. Grrr! Stop making games that are all about the developer’s making money from ads! You have to give something to get something. Find a balance between ads and play time. Other games have done it.

This was great after I finally payed a dollar to be ad free. The ads were constant and unbearable for my family. I had to use a few hints because I was playing on my iPhone and items were too close to pick up, without swiping out of the game (mirror in chapter two, for example). Overall, very entertaining and addicting with just the right amount of challenge.
