TLDR: Excessive ads that I always get whenever I change levels or die, and it doesn’t make me happy. More ads than the enjoyment of the game.
I understand that if people don’t buy the “No Ads” in-app purchase, that the devs should absolutely make money through ads from a free mobile game. HOWEVER, what makes me mad is how I get an ad every time I die and every time I change levels.
This sort of usage of ads in a free mobile game feels, scummy? Like look at the first game, I barely got ads and it felt nice. To get an ad every time I die or change levels? Is annoying and there’s no way around it except to pay to get rid of ads. I don’t think I’ve really seen any other mobile game with this many ads before.
If you think I’m complaining too much about ads, download both games and just play them for a solid 5-10 minutes, then you’ll see what I mean by NOT NOT 2 having a ton of ads.
