Triple Tile: Match Puzzle Game Reviews

So I would have actually liked this game, except there was so much glitching and crashing and freezing, I got this game to complete an offer and it would be a good game for kids to do this to play this game for like puzzle solving and what not but you have to watch so many ads sometimes the ads won’t load they don’t give you like rewards quickly enough like it should be every 10 levels not 100 levels, and then they decrease the reward as you go up like if they gave you five awards atAt level 300 and they only gave you fourAt level 400. Sometimes the game would freeze and lag and make you lose and the games ads wouldn’t loadWhich was extremely frustrating. The entire screen would freeze and he couldn’t finish the level even when you were on the last one I wanted to like it, but it made me so mad because I did it for an offer. I ended up almost not completing it on time, and I barelySlept for days in order to finish it on time, it would’ve been a good game and it could still be a good game. If they fix this I don’t know what the issue is but it always runs better without Internet for some reason. Hope that helps I wasn’t trying to be mean.

I like this game it is fun and nice to play. I read the reviews about the bombardment of advertising and I thought how bad could it be. Well in the beginning the advertisement across the top didn’t interfere with game so I thought ok I can do this however as you progress in the game you realize it’s easy to play but the advertisement starts as soon as you complete a level every single time. There is no way to stop it you are forced to walk away or tolerate it and if you manage to bypass it you don’t move to the next level. After a while the “x” doesn’t show up and you have to click a arrow which takes you to the advertisement. There must be a great deal of money in trying to push other games on players. If I wanted to play other games I would play them. I’m playing your game so if money is a issue then charge for it. If I like it I’ll pay if not I’ll leave. Now I’m deleting your game because your just not satisfied with me playing your game.

I started this game because of a promotion from another app I’ve been using for a while. I’ve completed the game tasks on other games they’ve advertised and been awarded. With this game, it’s IMPOSSIBLE. I’ve spent almost a week trying to get to level 500 in my free time (and I’ve spent WAY more time on this game than I should’ve) and I’m just now hitting level 110. The promotion rules say that you have to reach level 500 within 21 days. That’s not even possible. SO MANY ADS. The first 75ish levels were super easy. Then you start getting boards that are impossible to complete unless you use the ‘help’ or ‘reshuffle’ option. Both require watching a 30 second ad. Some boards have required me watching 10+ ads to get the board completed.
I wouldn’t download this unless you’ve got nothing better to do than watch ads all day.

For the solvable boards, the game is pretty fun. The problem is that too many boards aren’t solvable without watching ads to get boosts.

It’s s great matching puzzle game with neat little aesthetics, but there are some things that could be improved on…

— The game lags a good bit at times, especially when loading in advertisements or if there’s a lot on screen. It especially gets annoying when your inputs don’t register and you end up selecting a tile you didn’t want by accident and end up failing.
— The game doesn’t save your progress on a level when you close out of TripleTile . It’s especially annoying since…
— The game crashes frequently enough to be irritating. I could get maybe three or six tiles away from completing a puzzle and have to start all over because of a game crash.
— The reliance on ad-given abilities to solve puzzles without resetting breaks the flow of the game- especially since people are more than likely to put their phone down and ignore the adverts altogether. It just becomes a waiting game at that point- which isn’t fun. I understand ad revenue lets TripleTile devs earn money, but it gets aggravating after a time.

Overall it’s a relaxing game, but having your games be interrupted so often can get annoying. Other than that, it’s cute and I like it.

I deleted a similar game. It was frustrating because it was impossible to advance to the next level without paying for helps. This game is so much fun! It keeps you on your toes. Just carefully look at the board. The levels are solvable. Helps are generously given. It is not too easy or too hard. The game makes you think in order to clear the board. Every game is a solvable puzzle. Just take your time.

This game was fun in the beginning levels but as you progress the ads between games are bad enough but the several pop up ads during gameplay is over the top. Furthermore, the game, at about level 575 and beyond my games are now being halted to where I will win the level but have to replay it the same level several times before it will advance me to the next level. I don’t know if there is a glitch or is throttled purposefully but I looked for any update and there isn’t one. Not being able to fairly advance and repeating levels several times has ruined the game for me. This game was GREAT prior to all this. I would have rated 5 stars if things didn’t go for south. Shame really as this was a great game.

This game has potential, but as soon as you pass about 15 levels, you will be inundated with ad after ad after ad. You’ll get an ad in between every level, an ad if you lose a level, and sometimes ads even pop up in the middle of your game. Beyond frustrating and annoying. It seems that the developers have also rigged submitting reviews. You can’t write a review unless you give it five stars. If you give it one star, TripleTile will spin and spin and spin and never give you the text review window. This is my seventh attempt to access the comment window because the developers need to be exposed for what they are doing. So there you go. Don’t waste your time downloading this game.

I enjoy this game a lot but I am about to delete it . The main reason are the ads. I can tolerate the ones that give you an opt out and don’t subject you to 30 seconds. Even worse are the ones like 3D Ball and others that show nothing but their game for a very long time— no timer, no arrow, nothing. I want those ad people to know that I resent their ads so much that I would never download their app. The same goes for some of the draggy repetitive ads that make 30 seconds seem like an eternity. TripleTile also freezes on me more than once a day. Too bad.

I highly advise younot to waste your time. While there are a ton of ads, this doesn’t bother me but ad over ad causes the game to repeatedly freeze so hard that the only way to continue is to shut it down, clear history, and go through to restart. So so so so so so so so much time just sitting and looking at a slow or frozen screen that you may as well not even be playing. I have spent, no WASTEd hours over the past few days and am only on level 67. 67! The game is fun but it just can’t be played.

Update: Why won’t the developers respond to anyone??? Is nobody there? I wish there was a better way to earn others far away from this one

I installed this because got an offer from a survey app. it was fun at first but became so annoying because you need to watch alot of ads for you to solve the puzzle. the promo i got is you need to reach level 500 in 21days which is impossible due too many annoying ads that is more than 30 seconds long!! if you are playing this because you got an offer don’t bother it is like a scam but not too obvious because most likely a very few people reach level 500 in a given time. if you dint reach level 500 in 21 days you wont get the bonus and they have earned alot from you. Save your time. TripleTile is annoying!!

I really enjoyed the first 100 levels and now I’ve been stuck on level 101 for days, which makes me not want to play anymore. It is impossible to pass the level without using up all of your shuffle power ups and then you have to watch so many ads once you run out. I really liked this game but now I can’t keep playing it. There are also a lot of ads in general besides from buying power ups. From what I have read from other reviews, other people are having the same issue.

This is a great game especially when I remind myself that it’s totally free! I added it because the free version of my main tile game has a LONG delay when you have lost all of your lives and the options to add lives as you go along is ridiculously expensive. To be honest, I may end up playing this one just as much once I get used to the graphics.

Sounds like lots of other folks have had this same problem. The gameplay itself is quite fun, the graphics are enjoyable, and the higher levels are challenging. However the game freezes way too much, sometimes when you only have two or three moves left to finish. Also once you get past about level 20 the ads are incessant. I don’t mind seeing and ad every so often but not after every single game. Many of them you can’t get past - no timer or x to get out. These two issues give the game 2 stars from me.

I got to almost level 210 and it froze. Would no longer advance. You could see more levels but when you clicked it, it did not do anything. I got frustrated so I deleted it and started over. I got to level 51 and it now tells me that I have completed all the levels and to come back soon for new levels. I had noticed the first time that the last few levels I got through started to get real slow. It did that a few times the second round. I turned off and back on the device, made sure my device was up to date as well as TripleTile and still nothing.

I have never played a game with so many ads. It’s the same ad game after game after game. I’ve even had ads open up in the MIDDLE of the game I’m playing. At least if you’re going to make us watch ads, switch it up a bit. Why not do ads after every 10 games played, but after every game it’s ridiculous. It makes me less want to play the game and makes me want to play the game the ad is advertising less because the puzzles and survival game, I don’t want to play. If you want to see ads, then this is the game for you. I truly love this game, but not the ads after every game played!!!

The first 100 levels or so are relatively easy. All of the good reviews are almost certainly referring to those levels. After level 100 or right around there the levels get difficult and you start having to watch way to many adds to finish the levels. So I am giving it 1 star because this isn’t a game. This is an advertisement channel and in between all the adds you get to play a game. I say thst because I spent more time watching adds then I did playing g the game so how could I call it a game with adds I can not it is ads with a game.

This game was enjoyable until you get to the libels above 100 than every other move you have to see an ad in ordered to rearrange the board to continue. I am at level 450 and I have had it with this constant need of ads to advance. I have even restarted games to see if that would help. NO IT DID NOT. It is a shame because I am done playing

The game itself is fun but the ads are out of control. Once you get around the upper 200s level, it is impossible to finish without using all your HELPS and once you do use them up, you spend more time watching ads than playing. I understand that ads need to be part of the games but this game uses ads like no other I’ve played.
Disappointed and will be looking for something else to use my gaming time for. I suggest others do as well.

I’m locked out after level 200. Sounds like others have had this issue but the level number is inconsistent. The ads are terrible and repetitive. You really have to want to play this game to put up with all the junk in it. It also causes my phone to heat up and crashes often. Not quality software at all. Kudos to the designers, but the actual experience is so buggy, unstable and annoying (who locks a player out for no reason?) I’ll be deleting TripleTile.

This game is so fun, the quick levels has caused my hubby and I to compete with each-other and try to pass up one another. Iv had the game for maybe two weeks now, he JUST downloaded it yesterday and he’s already ahead of me… by a lot. 😂 but yea a real fun game to play to pass time or even help you fall asleep at night. So relaxing and stress relieving.

two major drawbacks. First off, at least on my phone, it’s pretty glitchy. It will be going fine and it just restarts and you have to go back to the beginning of the level. Far worse than that though is the just crazy amount of ads. You have an ad between every level, you have an ad if you want to use any of the buttons of which you will be doing constantly at the higher levels, and you even have ads during each level. oh, and also the banner at the top all the time. They’re not too bad at the lower levels but the higher, the worse the ads get. Some are pretty quick, most are pretty long and there’s one ad for some story app that must be close to five minutes each time. you end up spending as much time on the ads as you do playing the game. I can understand the need for ads to pay for the game but when there’s so many that you can’t even enjoy the game then I, and I would think most people, will just find another game. A lose lose for everyone.

I really love this game it has the perfect amount of difficulty however, I am so so sick of the ads and glitches that I am thinking about quitting this game and finding something similar that has an option to pay so I don’t have to endure the ads. Please, please, please add an option for us to be able to pay for the help instead of having to watch ads that may never stop or send me back to my game. If you have to have ads then just put them in between the levels and then we pay for the clues. Or to get rid of all advertising maybe you can make it where we can pay for a subscription to avoid all ads

Triple tile would be a great game if you would fix the glitches, freezing, or giving rewards when it supposed to, and to many adds every time you shuffle or go to the next level way to many adds. Let me know when you fix all the freezing and skipping blinking in and out and less adds I will be very interested in downloading this game again. This is a great game very challenging and stimulating to the mind , I would definitely give a 5 star rating but there’s to many glitches and adds. Thank you Maria R.

I am only at level 25, and I’m sure it will get to a point where I want to pull my hair out, but as of now, this is a great game. Just challenging enough to not be boring because it’s too easy. And I know this contributes to my brain health, so until it gives me a reason not to, I will continue to play!

Edit: Literally right after I wrote this review, an ad pops up after every. Single. Level. Upside, you can “fast forward” through a lot of them, so it’s only 10 seconds, at most for those. But still…it is completely free. And I will continue to edit this review and knock down stars if it seems fit to!

I’ve literally lost interest in everything that makes me happy during my pregnancy but after I found this game.. omg I can’t put it down seriously😂 I’m on level 624 on my other phone and im on level 13 on this one and I just redownloaded it❤️my boyfriend would take my phone from me all the time cause I can’t put it down and I FINALLY got him to download it after a couple weeks. I catch him playing it all the time now when we’re just sitting there!😂 it’s definitely one of my favorite games out there.

LOVED the game at first, found it to be challenging but not overly challenging to where it wasn’t fun. It was a good stress relief, you had to concentrate in order to win.

Then, when you get to the higher levels, it becomes to hard to beat because of how they stack the tiles against the opponent. The only way to beat the level at that point is to watch ad after ad. I deleted TripleTile at that point because I don’t have time for all those ads.
I don’t mind losing, I just don’t like fighting a losing battle that can only be won by watching endless ads.

The number of games in each level is equal to the level number multiplied by ten, and thus the rewards must be equal to the level number and not as they are now. This is My proposal to the team and l hope they work with it and update this application, as it is impossible for anyone who downloads your application to continue with it.

This is really aggravating. In the middle of writing a review about ads popping up in the middle of what you’re doing it did it again. I have played this game for 1038 levels and I am constantly have an ad pop up just as I am touching a tile in mid play! This has gotten so bad that an add is trying to load every time I match three tiles! I can touch the screen and the add will disappear but this is not only very aggravating it breaks the flow of the game. I understand you have to have ads to keep the game free but a 30+ second ad between levels is 15 seconds too long as it is and having an ad try to pop up a hundred times during the game is totally unreasonable.

Triple Tile is a simple but addicting game. Very good at helping to pass (or waste) time. Nice colorful and soothing interface / graphics. Unfortunately, as in many games, after reaching beyond level 400 it literally is impossible to win. No one expects to win every round, but playing twenty or so games and losing in order to possibly advance one space on the map gets very tiresome.

Only download this if you want to watch a bunch of ads instead of playing the game. The beginning is pretty good because the levels are easy to get through but once you get into the harder levels this game is ridiculous. You watch an ad if you lose or if you win. You watch an ad for every sing power up you need. And you’ll need a lot for the harder levels because it’s impossible to finish most levels without them.

To the developers - make the power ups regenerate or something without needing to watch a million ads and maybe I’ll download it again.

I love matching games. And, this one is enjoyable, too. The graphics are not as sleek and colorful as some of the other games. And, the background is a little too dark. I play tons of matching games to relax. But, the last few times, I’ve felt that this one is a little dark...not as uplifting as others. I feel this, especially, after playing other matching games. There are many ads. However, why not just click on the 40 points and get something for watching them? Overall, this is a good game. As they upgrade and use brighter colors and better graphics, it has the potential to compete with Zen Match. All of the matching games have their pros and cons, no matter how much we like them. Can’t wait to see the upgrades, in the future!

Wants to control when and how you use your FREE LET ME REPEAT yes FREE help tools rewards. Really !!!!now just sit with this. To receive your reward you have to watch these stupid overly drawn out ads. so I choose to save my help tools and yes put myself through these ads which is their motive to get players to watch for that is where they make their money. Anyway you look at it whether I use my rewards or watch the ads. I watch instead of using the “FREE” help tools. But the major control issue that one has within has me blocked from watching to receive a help tool I want all because I have several on another making it that I have no choice but to use something that is free anyways. Boy… it just shows how clouded one is that they can’t see passed the greedy power hungry control freak when they’re in the winning seat regardless when I’m watching an ad that they get paid on every time it’s shown. That’s what an overpowered broken down human looks like. GO SIT DOWN AND HEAL YOUR POWER HUNGRY CONTROLLING EGOTISTICAL BROKEN DOWN SOUL CUZ IF YOU DONT SOMETHING WILL COME TO MAKE YOU WHICH YOU WILL HAVE NO CONTROL BUT TO DO SO WHICH WILL COME DOWN ON YOU A LOT MORE HEAVIER AND HARDER. good luck you’re gonna need it.

The first 100 levels were really fun after that the tiles get harder to match so you’re constantly needing to use the options at the bottom like shuffle and you have to watch an ad to do it. You are constantly watching ads. On top of that it keeps glitching and will freeze so you have to swipe out of TripleTile only to start that level all over again. I currently have done level 127 four times and it glitched out again. I don’t know if that happens when there’s no ads available to watch but it is frustrating.

First off, came here to tell how bad the bass have gotten and noticed the preview of the game is of a different game or false advertising. The preview is nothing like the actual game. With that said, the game itself is one of the better ones out there. If you turn off cellular data for TripleTile and do not use WiFi there are no ads at all. But if you are on WiFi the ads are after every loss, win or between everything else. And the ads are getting worse and worse. Now they take you to a website page that you can do nothing to get out of except close TripleTile and restart. It’s getting out of hand with these ads. I don’t know if the company reviews ads before they allow them on their app but something needs to be done.

Very easy and fun. U can also make money while playing this if you download TripleTile called Benjamin. I didn’t get far enough yet on the tasks to cashout anything yet but it’s an app where they give u different tasks to do like downloading and playing a games, and also getting to certain levels, u can take short surveys, also they have something where u can link your card and shop online at your favorite stores and they will give u discounts and cash back. Just check it out I think you’ll like it. Oh and by the way I really like this game. I think u will too.

This used to be a favorite of mine. But then the ads became obnoxious. To get boost ups, you watch ads. Seems fair. But with the difficulty/impossibility of some the puzzle drops, you can watch many many ads in the course of each game. Lately, even after you win, in order for that win to count to advance to the next level, you have to watch a 30-40 second ad once you’ve finished the game. If you quit the ad, you lose the win. And every ad now requires 3 to 4 different screens to click out of to end. Ad ends, click the X to get out. New screen pops up to download something in TripleTile Store. Close that window. New window appears with new 5 second countdown after already being in the ad for 30-40 seconds. Like I said, if you love ads and closing ads and waiting for ad timers to expire, you’re going to love Triple Tile.

I have been playing this game for several months. Initially I enjoyed the challenge but lately it seems that the puzzles have become much harder to solve. I’m at level 1,997. I have completed the daily challenges throughout this time & had banked approx 80+ in each assistance category (back step/erase, magic wand, & puzzle shuffle). Unfortunately, the puzzles have become so difficult to solve that I have had to use these bonuses with about every 3rd puzzle & am now down to a balance of >20. Often times I will be close to solving a puzzle only to have the game freeze or close out requiring me to start all over again. What was once an enjoyable game has now just become irritating & no longer fun.

As far as matching games go, I do like this game, but a lot of aspects of it are entirely arbitrary. The bonus rewards for special events are tiny compared to the achievement required to receive them, and I honestly think they might as well have left out the special events for that reason. 85% of my time playing this game was spent watching ads to use the power ups, because most levels are impossible to win without using the power ups. Besides that, every level after 210 is the same. There’s no variation in the layout of the levels, so it seems to me like they gave up making the game interesting after so many levels.

Finally, a game that doesn’t get impossible to win without spending money. Instead I can watch an ad…usually 30 seconds, to “buy” what I might need. I have downloaded 3 or 4 other matching games only to delete them for various reasons.

Another thing that makes this one different, is that it is not timed, making it truly relaxing. I don’t have to worry about time if I have an interruption.

I don’t mind ads, though this game has a lot of them. What I do mind very much is that many of the ads freeze and there’s no way to close out of them after they end. It breaks the game or match and I have not found any way to move on with the particular game I was playing. The only way to resume playing is to restart my phone and start a whole new game, or to wait an indeterminate amount of time and then sometimes TripleTile will start a new game at the same level I already was on. But it loses the progress from the game I was on before the frozen ad happened. It is beyond frustrating. This is on an iPhone if it makes a difference.

I really like this game. The first levels are so easy, it’s tempting to think this is a no-brainer game. But the levels get more difficult as you progress. I usually play one or two a day. I’m on level 60. One thing I’ve noticed is that the music/sound effects get all whacked up. It starts off ok, then partway through the game, I get an echo effect, like it’s playing the sound again about 1/8 second later. Other times, the sound just stops. I need to switch to another app, then when I switch back, the sound/music sometimes stops again. I actually enjoy the music. It’s very relaxing, so when it’s gone, it’s just not the same. Please fix this.

I was enjoying this game until I finished level 500 and the game stopped loading new levels. For anyone doing Swagbucks or InboxDolllars, this means not being able to reach the level 1001 goal for full payout. I have contacted Tripledot tech support, but that was a terrible experience. The first reply was not even related to this issue. The second reply was unhelpful canned responses like check your internet connection and storage space (at least they left out power-cycling from their script). Finally I got a reply that they were looking into the problem, but that was 3 days ago, and nothing since.
So now every time I try to open level 501, I get the message “Hold on. Downloading new levels.” But nothing happens. I can play each day’s challenge puzzle, so obviously my iPad and their system can communicate, they just are not fixing this failure to download the next batch of regular levels.

Great idea fun game if you get to play it it’s so exhausting, battling these videos without our permission they want privacy, but what about ours? We get none and we get no game when all we’re doing is battleing Commercial videos that we don’t even want over and over and over again I wished I could at least play the game for longer than 2 minutes I have no choice but to delete it I can’t even play it the commercial videos are too overbearing what ashame ……

This game has suffered the incursion of more and more ads, and now it’s been broken by the addition of ads in the middle of a single tile session. Clearly they don’t make enough money from this simplistic game that has existed in similar form for decades. (That’s sarcasm.) As bad as that is, like so many ads these days, most of the ads don’t load. But if they don’t load, the option to close them doesn’t ever show up, so you are just stuck with a total black screen endlessly with no way to get back to your game. The first couple times I thought my phone had died. In the end, you’re left with no option other than to close the game and lose any progress you’re made with that level. Over and over again. My recommendation is to not download or use this game. It has been rendered practically non-functional by this ad practice.

I’ve been playing this game for awhile now through the tester buddy app and it’s claiming to pay $50 if you reach level 500 well I have done that and actually I have gone passed level 500 and the game is not showing I have reach level 500 so now I have no way of claiming my $50 even though when I open the game it showed that I am on level 504. I hope this gets fixed before the time expires for the $50 payment. Other then that I was enjoying the game but have become disappointed in the fact that there is no way to get the earned money because the game has not updated itself and shows I still haven’t reached level 500 even though I have when I open the game to play
