Setup

2022-07-02

I have been unable to set up the EKG app on my watch. Support instructions do not match prompts provided on devices. Very frustrating.

Disappointed

2024-06-16

I downloaded and subscribed to ECGAnalyzer only to find out I’m locked into a year subscription and my SE watch doesn’t support ECGAnalyzer . Would have been nice to have been prompted such BEFORE paying. My cardiologist recommended the feature because of the stroke I had, unaware it wouldn’t work. Paid for the watch for the fall feature and now for an app I can’t use. So let down and disappointed.

Check your watch

2024-03-21

App Store info shows it was compatible with my phone. No listing for checking your watch nor does it list which watch series are or are not compatible. Nor gives any info to make you think this is something you need to check. After purchase, during setup, ECGAnalyzer asks which watch series. At this point it states ECGAnalyzer won’t work on series 1, 2, or 3! Would’ve been nice to have seen that first in ECGAnalyzer info before purchasing!!!

Subscription only app

2024-04-17

Cant see the feature’s until you pay (unless it has none) and no subscription services are offered, just access to ECGAnalyzer . Ripoff!

Unreliable

2024-03-16

I bought the Apple Watch for the sole purpose of using ECGAnalyzer by the recommendation of my doctor, but it does not reliably capture by heart rhythms. I receive a “poor reading” no matter what I do. I have no confidence it will work to capture atrial fabulation in a true time of need, and I have wasted quite a bit of money on a watch I have no other need for.

App won’t show on watch

2024-06-19

I got ECGAnalyzer not too long ago and when I open ECGAnalyzer on my iPhone it tells me it cannot be set up yet. I’m wondering why so I press the link and it says it should show on my Apple Watch but it never did? I’m wondering what I can do to get this to work?

Does not work at all

2024-05-18

Unable to install on my watch, nor when I take a reading does it register in ECGAnalyzer itself. I have an iPhone 13 and a new Apple Watch so it is not like my equipment is outdated.

I will read from my watch but keeps no history. ECGAnalyzer itself is worthless.

Does not look useful

2024-07-02

I did not find any easy accessible help or documentation of the program features or benefits.
It looks pretty useless to me especially at this price point.
Deleting it

App Doesn’t Work

2024-01-05

I purchased ECGAnalyzer over a month ago and have not been able to get it to work. I have also reached out to Customer Service on three occasions with absolutely no response whatsoever. Don’t waste your money or your time or your frustration on ECGAnalyzer.

Hope you’re a doctor if you wanna use this

2024-09-18

ECGAnalyzer even on the premium version doesn’t give you any sort of report. wants you to calibrate your own qrs and qt stuff which ain’t my job. refund me pls.

How do I keep the data?

2024-11-08

How does ECGAnalyzer store it’s data? I have thousands of ecg recordings will I lose the recordings if I delete ECGAnalyzer ? I need to know before I do it, because ECGAnalyzer is not working, I pay the premium and it’s not detecting the pvc or pacs anymore.

I'm unsure why I'd pay you...

2024-08-09

There are other apps, more accurate, less expensive. What is the purpose of ECGAnalyzer other than making you money?

Frustrated

2024-08-24

ECGAnalyzer seems to be rather functional, but since it doesn’t provide certain functionalities as even a trial, it is hard to determine whether or not this is comparable to another app that is very similar to this one and does provide a little more information and feels as though it is a more compelling purchase.

Zero Support

2025-02-11

I’ve tried several times to get support after the first lame suggestion to just push on the heart , which doesn’t work. I’m removing ECGAnalyzer as junk

Seems expensive…

2024-07-03

This software seems to be based entirely off of Apple Watch ECG feature of putting your finger on the crown for 30 seconds. During that time you have to be still, which means you can’t use it during heavy exercise. I was also under the impression Apple Watch couldn’t detect PVCs. So just how useful the ECG feature is on Apple Watch is still a mystery to me. I do own Apple Watch 9, and every usage of ECG says “this ecg doesn’t show any signs of…”.

In contrast, hospital grade devices, like Holter, are worn over the heart for 48 hours as you live your life normally, exercise and all. The entire period of time is later analyzed.

In terms of some metrics a consumer grade chest strap, like Polar H10, is considered superior to wrist worn devices, such as staying connected while moving around, providing continuous readings, etc. Why doesn’t ECG+ have an option of directly collecting chest strap readings for a variable duration, like hours, even while exercising? In my opinion, this ECG+ isn’t built on the strongest foundation and I can’t see how it’s worth $120.

Important features paywalled

2024-07-11

The most useful parts of ECGAnalyzer are behind a rather expensive pay-wall.

It would genuinely cost me less to have scheduled phone calls with my physician 3x a month.

Save your money, what the free version tells you is what you can find on your own without it.

Good until it wasn’t

2025-05-13

ECGAnalyzer worked quite well for several months, or maybe a year. Then it began to falter, and finally it simply wouldn’t take a ECG. And I have found no correction for this even reinstalling it more than once.

HRV measurement is very inaccurate.

2025-06-07

Please improve the algorithm or provide user editing function. RR numerical recognition errors directly cause HRV to be very inaccurate. As a paid application, please update it as soon as possible for professionalism.

No way to contact purchased item toys

2024-08-17

I purchased this for myself for $10 a month and wanted to add my father so we purchased a family plan at 50 something a month now I try to connect myself to my dad’s family plan and now the amount has creased by another $10 so I’d have to redo the whole thing for $65… I think this is unethical. I purchased the highest amount of a plan that was available for my father at this time. I’ve tried to reach out to the developer but there’s not a response for a month so I have spent20 for me. I purchased it yesterday for myself because I couldn’t use it on the family plan… That tells you how much I like it… However, there’s no way to rectify this so they’ve gotten over $100 from me in one month.

Ok

2025-05-28

ECGAnalyzer had been running great. I’m not sure if it needs an update or something but it hasn’t been taking readings well.

Too limited preview

2024-10-16

The preview without buying is limited to only one ECG, and without all features. This cannot tell how tending works at all. If it was limited to 5 past ECGs, that would let me see how valuable it could be.

Based on the singular ECG, it seems to analyze a stand alone measurement fairly well.

Skip if your watch is an old model

2024-05-31

I started ECG app on my series 5: Out of 50+ tries I got one reading. I tried everything: different positions on the wrist, super snug, pristine back of watch, far from other electronics, etc. The one reading I got was useful though….
I decided to upgrade and picked the Ultra 2 watch. I have not missed one reading, and the graphs are super clean.

Awesome App, but should be free

2024-05-31

The premium features literally helped me obtain a cardiac diagnosis. It’s sad that I had to pay money in order to save my life. Prolonged QT interval, PAC & PVC should be included with the free features. They are literally life saving early warning signs that are being hidden behind a paywall. Shame on the developer for placing monetary gain ahead of patient safety. Apple needs to make these features standard in its own built-in app.

Wish it offered more for free

2024-05-28

It’s nice to use but I wish it offered more in the free version. It’s a bummer that all these apps are trying to get so much money all the time just to have more information so they only give you a little bit. It’s better than nothing though and seems fairly comprehensive.I’ll keep using the free version until I find if there’s a better more useful free version of another app if not, I might have to pay for this one.

Seems good so far

2024-07-11

Just downloaded and doing this to get three free reports. Wish ECGAnalyzer was less expensive.

Not sure

2024-03-22

Not sure how accurate it is. Two different reading between this and qaly

Mr Retired

2024-06-16

This definitely gives me a sense of security as it gives the cardiologist a vague idea of what’s happening between visits. If it looks serious I would be wearing a medical heart monitor for 2 to 4 weeks.

Appreciate this app!

2024-06-28

Wanted to say thank you for ECGAnalyzer! Been using to track long QT. Wore a holter monitor with no long QT episodes. ECGAnalyzer has been great for showing episodes when they happen to physician, as I had none while wearing the moniter.

Great device re. ECG

2024-06-19

The only problem is if you have an athletes hear you can’t get an afib. reading under a pulse of 50. Athletes heart rates resting are 30 and above. Apple needs to change that. It’s not as accurate as it could be therefore excluding many people. Love to exercise. Endorphins are the best drug out there for everything 🙂

Advanced readings to help your cardiologist

2024-06-19

Today I showed my Doctor several ECGs derived from my apple watch through ECGAnalyzer and advance data analysis. He was really impressed and help answer a lot of my questions on PACs and PVCs. Apple ECG alone will not identify enough whats going on. Highly recommend ECGAnalyzer.

Very accurate

2024-06-29

As a CT ICU nurse of 34 years I find the readings on the EKG app to be surprisingly accurate! I’m very impressed with the quality of the telemetry given that it’s from a watch on my wrist. It’s also quite reassuring as I get older to know that it can automatically monitor for simply arrhythmia so I can be more proactive in following up with my physician on my heart health. Great job!!

Great app

2024-06-18

Once I discovered all ECGAnalyzer had to offer it’s been great in showing me my overall heart health and how stress and alcohol and different foods really effect my health.

Accurate

2024-06-04

So, I am a retired Paramedic and can red ECGs very well. I knew I was having an irregular heart rhythm so I downloaded this ap and printed out my latest one lead ecg. I knew what it was and went to the Emergency Room with the print out (off my printer) and ap was spot on and matched 12 lead in ER. They (the Er doc) was quite impressed with the interpretation and print out. Your experience with this ap may be different but mine has been very good so far. Highly recommend. In order to print out your ecg, you have to download it as a PDF.

Great app in addition to Apple’s!

2024-06-16

I like using this in addition to Apple’s report because it’s a bit easier to see and visualize. I can still send either report to my doctor no problem.

Professionally done!! Love it

2024-06-29

It’s impressive to see how accurately those R dots are marked on the strip automatically, even when there are quite some noise in the reading, just impressive. PACs are identified, accurate enough for me to better understand what’s happening. Reporting is fantastic, so much better than Apples report.

Great apps

2024-06-18

Good application, easy to use, very helpful to keep track of your health and be able to share with your doctor

Is this a novelty apps?

2024-06-16

My Heart is the hardest working muscle working in my body! I get a crack to see my heart on a graph. I am told even though it is a novelty it had saved peoples life.

Possible Afib

2024-06-28

Been using ECGAnalyzer to track a possible afib episode before I can get my doctor to do some further tests and monitoring. So far so good 👍 helps put my mind at ease and helps my doctor have some sort of record as well. Very good app.

Very Nice!

2024-06-21

This can give you some additional data points over and above what you get from the standard Apple app. I found them to be interesting and helpful.

Great App!

2024-06-19

I am new to Apple Watch. Little did I know that the day after I got the watch and had put ECGAnalyzer on it, I would be using it to check my heart. I had a slow heart rate with some premature ventricular contractions that did not perfuse and was short of breath and did not feel well. I know that you can’t use a strip like this to diagnose but I ended up going to the hospital and it let the doctor know more about what I was experiencing. I had printed copies of several of my episodes. The doctors and nurses were impressed that the ecg tracing was so good coming from a watch. Thank you!!

ECG VERY HELPFUL

2024-09-10

After my husband had a triple bypass and every possible complication it was had to tell whether his pain was cardiac or muscular. He can now do the EKG app and at least get a baseline whether he is having too many PVC’s. ECGAnalyzer has been a lifesaver.

Great app

2024-08-24

I love how ECGAnalyzer allows you to track your heart health and if you think something may be out of the ordinary you can give your dr a call to discuss your concerns

Professionally done!! Love it

Congestive heart failure condition

2027-09-08

I was diagnosed with CHF… I considered other option in case of emergency but the Apple Watch with ECGAnalyzer… amazing!!!

Thanks for the app!

2027-10-02

I’m grateful to have ECGAnalyzer that can correctly record my heart rate at any time.

So far so good.

2027-11-03

Anyone know what it means when the R in black at the top turns red or purple?

Thank you for the response. That is exactly what my doctor said.

Brilliant execution.

2027-12-04

Thank you for this. I had been wondering why it had not been done so far.

HRV

2028-01-05

Best app for HRV using the ECG on the Apple Watch. HRV is very transient. I like to use ECGAnalyzer as a real-time HRV. Too bad we can’t use the ECG on Apple Watch while we sleep.

Impressive

2028-02-05

My electrophysiology guy was impressed with ECGAnalyzer so I know it is good.

Excellent app.

2027-12-03

Very useful app!

AFIB

2027-11-26

ECGAnalyzer is amazing snd helpful. When I need to go to the Hospital Emergency I can show them the readout of each episode. A great tool for any with heart complications.

Great

2028-03-26

Has helped me a lot with my a fib heart condition. Thanks.

Great Useful Informational App

2024-05-13

ECGAnalyzer demystified the information collected by my Apple Watch and simplifies it so I can understand what’s going on. Awesome app that’s very easy to use!

Outstanding app

2024-04-26

This is an outstanding app for measuring various cardiac parameters off the Apple Watch ECG signal. The summary data and graphs are very helpful for seeing trends. I use this to monitor my QTc and PR intervals.

Features

ECG Analyzer integrates with Apple Health to unleash the greatest power of your Apple Watch ECG, by analyzing and calculating HRV out of your ECG data, one of the best metrics for physical fitness and overall health level.

HRV is a measure of your autonomic nervous system that is widely considered one of the best objective metrics for physical fitness and determining your body’s readiness to perform.

The sympathetic branch (often called “fight or flight”) reflects responses to things like stress and exercise, and increases your heart rate.

Get a better idea of your general health and physical fitness level with the ECG Analyzer app + Apple Watch ECG.

Your autonomic nervous system, which controls the involuntary aspects of your physiology, has two branches, parasympathetic (deactivating) and sympathetic (activating).

Although HRV manifests as a function of your heart rate, it actually originates from your nervous system.

A up hill trend means a better physical fitness level and a down hill indicates you should pay more attention to your overall health.

The parasympathetic branch (often referred to as “rest and digest”) handles inputs from internal organs, like digestion or your fingernails and hair growing.

Heart rate variability comes from these two competing branches simultaneously sending signals to your heart.

It causes a decrease in heart rate.

With HRV trends you can learn your health level changes.

If your nervous system is balanced, your heart is constantly being told to beat slower by your parasympathetic system, and beat faster by your sympathetic system.

This causes a fluctuation in your heart rate: HRV.
