Makeup Artist Reviews

To preface this, I never write reviews. This game was just so unpleasant that I felt I really had to.

Now, the game isn’t *bad* necessarily, but it really doesn’t let you do anything creative. You can’t do DIY makeup and the “custom” makeup gives you a few pre-made options that you have to follow. The gameplay is like that, too. You can’t do anything besides exactly what it tells you to do. You can’t even try to make change anything; I shaved off the model’s eyebrows and they came right back in the next step. I would say that this is more like a color by number app than a makeup game.

There isn’t really any way to influence your store, either. You can click buttons that change some things in your store, but once again you don’t pick that change. It’s just something that’s already written in the game. As far as I can tell, the “upgrades” affect nothing about the game and there’s no benefit or incentive to earn money in-game.

Basically, gameplay feels like Episode if instead of having options, you had a single button that you could press. It’s no fun.

Also, there are ads *constantly.* I’m used to mobile games with tons of ads, but this is a whole new level. I don’t think I ever had more than sixty seconds in between ads while playing this game.

In my opinion, you would be better off finding a color by number game to waste your time on.

This game has its wonderful parts but it could use a lot more improvements. I saw someone do a pro/con list so ill do the same.

Pros:
- You can do makeup easily while also going into detail. Its fun and lets a child mess in makeup even if a parent isn’t comfortable with them doing it in real life yet.
- Its versatile so children aren’t the only ones getting enjoyment out of it.
- Theres plenty of hairs and different makeup combos you could do.

Cons:
- Its not very inclusive. Maybe throw in an asian woman, or a black woman, or even a male. I think that if a male/POC offends people, they shouldn’t be wanted in the community. Makeup is very versatile and should be taught that its okay for ANYONE to wear makeup.
- It eventually becomes repetitive if you aren’t a child. I find it fun, as a nineteen year old girl, to just sit for thirty minutes and go through the colors and designs. I think there just needs to be more.
- More variety. Maybe try highlight and contour, or maybe even do a lipliner option. Just an extra step would be fun.

Glitch:
- The only thing that showed on screen was the makeup. No face. That could scare children so id probably look into it.

You have a good app but please add a few more skin tones at LEAST.. and make sure to include hairs that would apply.

This is a really good game and i love it. This is the only makeup game that i thought was good. I was looking for a good one for a long time. I am kind of a perfectionist about them. What i like about this game is it is so relaxed and you don’t have to worry about messing up. The only problem about this game is there are way too many adds. Every time you do one part of the makeup, there is an add, and you have to watch a video to unlock basically everything. I am fine with watching a video to unlock something forever but i hate watching a video to get something every time. Please fix this. Update. Please read. I would give this game five stars. It is the best makeover game ever and it is soooo awesome and i love it. But every single time you save your makeup it uses up some of your storage and it got to the point where it was using up way too much of it so i had to delete it. This was a really fun game and i wish i could download it again. It would be really nice if you made there be an option not to save your makeup. Thank you.

Ngl this game is definitely for kids, I won’t deny that. People can see this in both sides, if you mess up on the eyebrows, it’ll go back to how it was. THAT can be seen as good and bad, it could be good if a child is playing it messes up on accident, or if you actually want it to look how you did it.
Sometimes the makeup looks off, there’s patches of it missing, which I feel like many people can agree with this, it looks wrong, and it throws people off.
Also whenever it gives you the opportunity to “pick” your makeup look, it sometimes picks a different look (this happens to me, actually it has happened ALL the time, I’m not even exaggerating) I haven’t been able to peacefully pick a makeup look I actually want, and if it did pick the one that I wanted, parts of the makeup would be missing.
At the end of the day this is a kids game, it gives you a lot of options, it’s colorful, it’s entertaining, and the makeup looks wonderful. BUT you really can’t ignore the stuff I have stated. Again, it’s a wonderful game, but it has a lot of mistakes

So this game is great! It is inspiring and I am going to do some of the makeup on my real face. But there was a problem or two in this. First. I did have an issue when I was making one of the makeup designs or rather doing one of the girls’ makeup, it glitches out very badly and looked like a weird paper doll that had makeup or lipstick all over her face. It kept glitching out and two seconds were the creepy glitches out face and then the next was the regular. When I started on the foundation it went back to normal. I wanted to tell the person who made this game what happened so they could fix. Also in the custom ones I wish we could do whatever we wanted to the girls. The limit of them is small and kinda boring after a while. It’s not as much fun so I wish you could put every tool at the bottom and when you select it, it will give you the options of each design you could do. Overall, it’s a pretty good game. I honestly prefer the portion where you don’t get to pick what makeup you do, because it’s basically a surprise. Like one time I got to create the main character of Squid Game. What I think it needs is more of a cosplay aspect, more dressing up as other characters. I know like the person Squid Game, and one time I even got Elsa, even though there was no clothing that really matched with it. Another thing that needs to be improved is that recently when you do the “Design your own” you have to watch an add to get 4 new different pieces of clothing. And sometimes, it says ad not available. Which means that you can have the makeup COMPLETELY not match the outfit. One time I did the Christmas makeup, but I couldn’t get a good piece of clothing, and I watched enough ads that at one point none were available so I ended up having to have a snake and Christmas. Just no. With custom makeup, I expect a custom outfit as well. I shouldn’t have to watch ads to get a good outfit.

Okay yeah I just downloaded this game and I’m loving it. But there’s obvious a complaint. On day 9 I picked Ruby gems. And they gave me pearl. I was like ‘Uh…Huh?.’ So I did the makeup anyways. Since I had pearl ofc I want it to match so I did pearl again. But they gave me A purple gem. Like… I was like ‘Ugh I am reporting this!’ Anyways Overall i think people would be mad to if like they went to the (Automatic Jewelry Store) And said ‘I want peridot earrings on both’ They gave you pearl and star earrings. How would you feel? Mad and sad. Right? Your gonna have to go somewhere else and pay more money to get NEW earrings. Anyways This is good overall! I haven’t got to the end so I’m not gonna complain a lot. So moderator, I would like for you to fix that, Unless it’s my laptop doing that. I love this game and if you want to design hair, Makeup, And eyelashes, etc. Then this is totally the game for you! Thank you for reading this bye bye!

Hey! So I recently downloaded this game for my little sister. (she is 6) I saw her playing it and it looked fun so I tried and got pretty addicted. This game is good for a lot of ages but I think it’s more for younger kids. There are a lot of ads and it’s kind of annoying. It’s not a bad game at all tho! I can see why people like it. It has makeup, different models, makeovers, you get to pick a name for your “makeup company” and so much more! My only thing is that there are sadly a lot more ads than most people would want. I said 3/5 stars just because the ads, which I have covered, and the not so much life like things on the game. There are a lot of options other wise for your model, different makeup and makeup looks, lots of colors and more. I don’t think the ads are a HUGE turn off, but it would be better without them.

Okay so I got this game a while ago and I’m pretty far into it I’m on day maybe 87 or something close to that, and it was one of those DIY days where you design your own makeup, and I did the DIY day and I went on to the next day and realized it said it was another DIY day… that was a little annoying to me so I just did the day and moved on and the next about 6 days were all still DIY and this was frustrating because I don’t like the DIY days and there pretty boring to me, I realized that the game might just be glitched and I can’t stop doing custom days or something? Can someone tell me how to stop doing the DIY days… I’m thinking about deleting the game since it’s now just plain out boring and frustrating.. but otherwise the glitch in the game it was very fun and I would keep playing it if the custom days would stop. When I got this game it was hot that bad as it would seem. All you really do is just put makeup on people and the adds are not that much ch of a problem. Overall the game is pretty fun and I think that you should try it if you don’t have it because it is a really fun game to play when you are bored or just don’t have any other game to play that is fun. I love how you can get to chose the style and the person your doing the makeup with but I am sure that this game can get some fixes👍 For example maybe some more makeup choices like a store or something but really this is not that bad, and maybe you could add some style to the hair or the outfit, not trying to change the hole app but maybe a few updates I suppose. But overall this is game is pretty great so I think if you don’t have it then you should get it because it’s really fun, adds are not a problem at all and it’s just really fun to play most of the time so I think you should try it out and see if you like it or not😁 Thanks for reading this have a great day!😘🤗

I love MakeupArtist is awesome and I can’t wait to go to new levels I just started and I’m having so much fun I don’t even want to get off of MakeupArtist you can do whatever you want it’s so much fun you can also win prizes and have so much fun it’s awesome and I think that everyone enjoyed it and all the make up artist games that I downloaded they tell you you have to design well guess what not in MakeupArtist you can do whatever you want you can also design whatever you want it’s also really really really fun did I mention it and I love MakeupArtist so much that I want to do it on my other ones for MakeupArtist I download 1000 times and I know that you love it to the next make up artist should be in town and it’s always gonna be you and guess what you need to read my writing and I will give it five stars because I love it so much I think you’ll love it to download MakeupArtist and have it so much fun I think it’s really awesome and it teaches you responsibility and also other things down MakeupArtist it’s really fun.!!!

What if you come home grumpy 😾 this game fixes everything. I Bought this game and I couldn’t stop at all!! There are a little complains. 1 I wish there wasn’t that much adds. 2 I wish you had more people to pick from. 3 I wish you had the Fairy person you can get the fairy person you just have to pay money. I mean it’s better than the home designing game I got. Because when that game had an add it turned off on me.👿 and I had to do the same thing over and over. It’s called home designing 3D if you get that game delete it NOW! That’s all the this I have to say about this game.🙂

This game is the best!!!! This game is like insane good. I saw so many ads of this so I decided to play it and download it because people were so crazy and like a simp of this game. Ok so let’s get this straight, I’ve been playing since like when was it, umm maybe late January, and I’m already on like level 67, this game is soo addicting and fun. You should definitely check it out. Just because I love it, it doesn’t mean it’s right for everyone. I do highly suggest you check it out tho. Many ppl like write reviews about how many adds there are. And what I think is that yes there are quite a few adds but when playing a game there will be adds and you can’t get mad at the game just for having those ads. I definitely think you should check it out. But not everything is right for everyone so if you don’t like it it’s just ur opinion I’m sure you’d like it if u were into that genre . Pls download. But something I would like to change is the ads some of them are inappropriate and if u don’t like it either than notify the game u r using ads from because little kids play this game and they can use and ad from a different perspective and still advertise the game.

Ok so MakeupArtist is soooo much fun and the characters are so realistic. I just think it would be better if some of the makeup looks weren’t too much 😅. The glitch that I was going to talk about as u can see in the title is that I changed my model to make a custom look and then after I went back to do the makeup the game usually does. Then I put the model I usually used. And when I was going to change the color of her eyes she had the eyes from the previous person I used. I know it was a slight glitch it wasn’t something that can annoy people but I just wanted to talk about it just so people can know, but either was 5 STARS I love this game 😍🤩

I downloaded this game a few months ago and I’ve become almost addicted to it. I love doing makeup but I barely get to do makeup on other people. This game let’s me actually do make up on something. When it goes to the customize big I always make everything match as much as I can because I love designing, drawing and doing stuff like that. The only problem is that when you do the makeup that is given by the creator of the game, sometimes it is the same as the choices in the customized makeup part. I would also prefer if you had more hair available as my race is black and the blonde and brown doesn’t look quite right. Overall this is a nice game

This game is so much fun and never gets old I can play this game for hours and not get bored of it there is a option on MakeupArtist where you can pay and get extra things but you don’t have to and still get the same quality. 2 things I will say about MakeupArtist 1. There are alot of ads and with games like this your always gonna have a lot of ads but the ads are very inappropriate and glitchy so it makes your phone super slow 2. On MakeupArtist you get to choose which model you would like and when your doing the make up on some skin tones it looks really bad so I would just say make sure the make up looks good on every skin tone not just one because that’s a little unfair Other than that I love your app so much!!❤️

In this game, the things that the GAME does for you is the actual makeup, and blush. YOU pick the gems, hair, accessories, foundation, what to do with the eyebrows, and you can even design your shop. The characters are so realistic, and the makeup always turns out so beautiful.

I downloaded this game out of pure boredom, but this game never gets boring. I can do this for hours! It’s so much fun!

The only problem is.. the adds CAN be inappropriate, and crappy. Some adds are really sexist, and show some bad things.. I know that the developers of the game can’t control this, so if you want to risk getting exposed to inappropriate things, and behavior, I suggest not downloading this. BUT, you can turn off the WiFi; but you can’t use any adds to get stuff.

I love this game, and this is by far the best game out there!! My only suggestion, is that you add a feature where you can change their outfits, and edit the photos! This would make the game WAY, WAY better. It’s already AMAZING, but this is just a suggestion!

Normally I don’t write reviews for games, but this game is great. Typically you watch an ad, download it, and think you’re going to be playing what’s shown in the ad. Two seconds later you’re playing a completely different game then what the ad showcased. It’s very frustrating. I downloaded this game thinking it was going to be just like the situation I explained. It looked appealing though, so I had to try it out. I was completely wrong. The game you see in the ad is EXACTLY what you will do in the game. I wish there we a little less ads, (maybe after completing an entire makeup look instead of watching an ad in the middle of doing the makeup?) but all in all it’s such a good game so I can’t complain. Very fun! Definitely download! Overall, this is a five star game! ⭐️

So basically it says three day free trial but it makes you pay before the three day trial and it’s just a waste of money because there is so many ads every second not a lot of levels there’s only like two levels it literally feels like two and there are so many other apps that are free and just like this that are not a rip off this is a rip off and it’s money they just want the money well guys why can’t they make games for kids kids they are only interested in the money they don’t care about us like I said there are tons of other make up games and fashion games like this that aren’t money so go and play those because MakeupArtist is a total RIP OFF!!!

This game was good up until…
1. Adds adds adds, why so many?! I can’t get past two stages without an add, and it’s not like I can turn on airplane mode, cause you have to watch an add to unlock stuff.
2. Why do we get so little options?! There aren’t many models and even when you DO get to design your own model, the makeup is nothing like the ones the game gives you.
3. When I design my own makeup sometimes the add will not let me exit it, or it’ll just freeze, and if I exit the game, I don’t get to design my own for another 3 makeovers!
For now, this game is deleted. I will check back on reviews constantly to see if anything has changed, and maybe I will re download. I hope you take this complaint and make the game better.

First of all maybe add some more people of color like an Asian or Chinese girl or maybe even a man! Second I think you should be able to make ur completely custom makeup when you do “custom” makeup it’s just different makeup designs the game recommends to you I think you should be able to make ur own makeup comepletely maybe add some different templates if people wanna do different shapes and designs! 3rd there are a LOT of ads and it’s rlly annoying I get u have to make money but bro chill with the ads after you finish an eye there’s a ad then while ur doing the other eye there’s a ad then when everything’s done and ur about to move to a different thing theres an ad and it’s RLLY annoying that’s all great game tho

This is a cool game, but as a big sims 4 addict, I can recognize some of these hair models anywhere. The models in this game were most likely edited screenshots from the sims. I noticed this when I first started and saw that the eyes were custom content ones I have downloaded in my game. Aside from this, multiple of the hairs and stolen from custom content creators on the sims. They are literally exact replicas.

Cool concept for a game but I would have more respect for the creators if they didn’t rip stuff off of modded content creators from a different game.

If they had permission to use these items then I have no problem with it but it doesn’t credit the creators anywhere that I can see.

The Goods👍:
The creative makeup and cool accessories are so fun to put on! This game is so satisfying and addicting! I love seeing makeup based on Disney characters and other cute ideas🌟

The improvements🧐:
-Some things u could improve on is making more levels/days. I know that u guys r prob working on so I’m not in any rush😊!
-You could also add more rooms to decorate (like where u purchase the furniture), it may be easier to spend the money💵!
-I’m usually not one to complain abt adds but adds to happen frequently in the game. Plus, to have different hair, etc. u need to watch an add and I think that maybe instead, u could spend the money on the different hair and mascara and stuff🤷‍♀️.

The BIG Glitch😒:
There is a HUGE glitch in this game:
When I turn off my phone, while in MakeupArtist , it restarts the level and exits MakeupArtist 🙈! This is not good, especially when I’m almost done with the level!

I’m sry this was long but I hope it helped! I do recommend the game but pls be aware of these issues! Thanks and developers pls help fix it.

It is a very awesome game I love doing make up so I decided to do my own make up and copy those things it was very cool very nice I like the game the game is very cool whoever made this they made the game really I don’tKnow what to sayknow what to I said that to time but the game is very awesome I don’t want to type in very weird I’m just a little kid but the game is very fun and they said the games for nine year olds and I am nine actually I’m six but I’m about to turn seven and then eight and then nine but the game is very nice weather as it is can they make a movie about it I just love the game it’s very nice so please make a movie out of it please say

This is a great game and I love playing it! I like how sometimes you get to pick your own makeup so it’s a little creative and when adds play for apps their nothing like what it showed for this it showed pretty much the exact same thing as the game.

I don’t know if you can or can’t but I don’t know how to change my characters profile. I also like how you can see things you’ve done and re do them. So thank you for making MakeupArtist!

Ps: People are too sensitive. There are barley any adds to me and some people have made complaints about too many adds.

Hey guys! So I have a long history with makeup games, and I've found most of them to be cringe and boring with cheap 3D animated characters and styles directed towards four year olds. Those games were never very fun for me, as I've liked having freedom with my style choices and a more mature aesthetic and interface.

I downloaded this game about a week ago, expecting it to be one of those dumb games targeted to intrigue little girls...AND BOY WAS I WRONG. I have had SO much fun with this game, I love all the different styles and looks and hair pieces! It's so totally amazing and I've already finished all the available levels which breaks my heart! There's about 100, but I would love it more than anything if the devs published a lot more. This game is a blast and I recommend it for anyone who enjoys makeup and styling. Love it 😍!

This is by far the best makeup game on MakeupArtist Store! Personally, I have tried a million makeup apps and they are all the same exact thing, when my friend recommended this to me I thought this would be the same old boring makeup game where it’s the same thing every time, but this is so much different then what I thought it would be! Unlike other makeover games, YOU get to choose what the look will be, the hair, the eyes, the lips etc. And it’s not like you get rated on it, it’s a matter of YOUR opinion. Another thing I love about this game is that all the characters are so realistic and beautiful! You can even choose which model you want to be at the beginning of the game! When I first started playing, it asked me if I wanted to rate it, I said no thanks and it never asked me again, same thing with the free trial!
