Poor documentation, buggy and difficult user interface

Very hard to use. Flaky. No documentation. UI does not conform.

Not usable

Signifigantly slower than the existing xquartz implementation. Missing very basic features like automatic window resizing.

Really Bad

It's really bad and way overpriced. There should at least be a free version like on Android to try it first. Such a shame iOS is so limited. It also looks exactly the same as his $9.99 RDP app, quite sketchy developer. It doesn't even have all the features it claims to have.

Good potential but needs work

The tool is a little clunky to use but it does work which means it's useful. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to future improvements. If I can run more than one remote display at once, that would be fantastic!

rough

interface is clunky and takes experiementation to figure out how to configure. Leaving this a three as I figure out how to connect to a server. I can get to a login screen but keyboard just sounds beep when trying to type (havent figured a way to activate keyboard in window

edit: i am more than willing to help test a version for MacOS to that fixes the keyboard problem. The video and mouse works perfectly, even clipboard.

Works!

This worked well for me. I was looking for a way to view a Proxmox Virtual Machine window *including sound* on my Mac. The time saved in setting up a more complex solution justified the cost for me.

It would be great to add support for window resizing, like moving from the console to an X11 window.

Works, Easy to use

Came over to Mac from PC. Always used Spice agent for Windows to access Proxmox servers. This was an easy install and just use application. Overall performance is a bit less than Windows, but works well.

Good

Good app except remote sound does not play on device and input does not always map correctly.

More Free (as in freedom) Software Please!

I am incredibly happy with aSPICEPro purchase and incredibly thankful to the developer for releasing libre software on a platform where you don’t often see such products. It has been incredibly useful for accessing my PVE cluster on the go, and supports the trackpad and keyboard for my iPad beautifully. The only remote desktop app that worked as well as this was the microsoft rdp client, but that’s proprietary garbage spyware. There are many such apps on aSPICEPro store and I recommend avoiding them in favor of independent developers, contributing to the FOSS community.

Works with Proxmox

I struggled to get the Remote-Viewer bundle for SPICE working with Proxmox, but this worked immediatley out of the box for SPICE based console sessions.

The mouse pointer lags the real pointer a little, but this generally gets the job done.

Easy to use

Can not find an easier way to use iPad with computer
