Pinky Girl: Dress up & Fashion Reviews

PinkyGirl is very cute, I've downloaded it yesterday and I can't stop playing! The dresses and designs n stuff are super nice and I love playing each chapter <3
Something I've noticed is we only start out with pink hair. I really think there should be other colors. We have cute outfits, sure, but when we start all we get is pink hair! If you have different hair designs there should also be different hair colors :(
Another thing I've noticed is some of the items don't load. I mean this in 2 ways. First, when I try to press on a clothing item, it takes a while to get applied, or doesn't at all. Second, the thumbnail for some items don't show up! This isn't any of my internet problems, I've seen it in other reviews. But overall, this is an adorable game and I love it! :)

i’d really like to love this game. it’s so cute, all of the outfits are really nice, and i love the contest feature a lot. but it’s almost impossible to have fun playing it without spending money. it’s really unfair for f2ps, and as an experienced gacha game player, i’d say this game has the worst f2p experience by far. i rarely play because it feels pointless since i rarely ever get gems, and even when i do it’s such a measly amount it’s basically nothing. and even if i did get enough to pull, there’s still the whole gacha aspect of not knowing what i’ll get, so it just feels like the whole thing isn’t worth it. the story quests are also very confusing and frustrating. it’s so hard to figure out what clothes to use to pass the levels, and the buttons to sort them by type are all in chinese, so i can’t even use that. plus, there is absolutely NO diversity as far as skin tones go. and finally, the game glitches and lags a lot. clothes often don’t load in properly. i’d be happy to change my review to 5 stars if these things were given major improvements so i could actually enjoy my time playing pinky girl.

If you came from Instagram or another social media app, you likely saw there being cutscenes after dressing up the character, right? Well that doesn’t happen. The outfits are cute/pretty, but there are some important features missing. Most of the game that I’ve seen is translated (for English speakers), however important things like the theme filters for picking out an outfit for a given scenario aren’t translated. If you can’t read the filter, how are you supposed to win the level? In general, the levels and dressing up isn’t quite interesting. I do enjoy dress up games occasionally, but this one just doesn’t work out. I was also told this game is a rip off of another game. The features that I think are okay is the “posting” system, where you can create a photo with your dressed up characters and create a cool background. You can also participate in dress-up competitions with themes (that English speakers can read) and get results after a few days. I wouldn’t really recommend it, it’s pretty easy to lose interest in my opinion.

So I’ve noticed that a lot of things requires diamonds when it comes to the boxes for a chance to win new clothes. You should have the opportunity to get diamonds like a daily login or when you first get the game you get however many diamonds. Now I know that they let u open one a day but there are tons of different boxes to from and your only giving one free spin. Personally I think it should be one free spin for each box a day. You’re only able to spin once out of all the boxes to choose from. Not everyone has money to buy diamonds and such. I do like the fact that they give you a range of clothes to choose from when doing challenges. Also speaking of the description for the challenges could definitely be a million times better instead of having to you the fishes to as the cat and you only get five fishes so you gotta use those wisely as well.

Definitely pushy to have you spend money, but ads aren't popping up every second which is nice. A real issue is most of the tags aren't translated to English so doing the stages can be tough

Update: After realizing using the tags isn't as important as just using all the SSR clothes you have, the story mode is easier tho a bit boring. A lot of players are finished with the story mode at this point and are a waiting for the next chapter. Updates add new things without much regard to what was already there, new features are usually pretty clunky and sometimes feel pointless. Taking off two stars because now whenever you sign in, it automatically prompts you to put in your Apple account password in order to purchase diamonds (it isn't immediately apparent that this is what the password prompt is for when it happens at first, which may cause new or younger players to accidentally make a purchase)

I just downloaded it a week ago and: This game is good!!! Basically for all of you reading this right now-it’s a styling game, Here are my reasons why it’s the best:
1. There’s group members you can join
The whole idea of this group thing is for each group to make it to the top 10, 15, etc. And you can chat with them and style at the same time!
2. New updates and New clothes per update!
Don’t get me wrong, I love the clothes. But each update they add new clothes every time so it’s like an endless choice of clothes
BUT... it costs like so much diamonds and the devs know some of us are poor :( Luckily there’s the Tailor but we need clothes/Apparel!
I would add stuff to the game like:
1. A claw machine to get clothes,gems,and coins etc. it would be a easier way to buy stuff from the shop anyways.
2. A button where you can gift friends, not only getting rid of bad clothes, but also bonding and gifting each other to be TRUE friends!
3. A setting with Some voice-overs you can make yourself for the avatars and girl, because I would like to know what her voice is!

the game is alright. you can dress up, and you can go and complete the “story mode” of this game.

but there are a lot of things wrong with this. first, literally 70% of the game requires you to login. i do not like that, it can’t really be opened up to 4+ because of it. second, purchasable currency. i haven’t played this game a lot to know if there are ways to get them for free, but i just don’t like it when apps do it. you could just, oh i don’t know, DO ADS. i literally HATE in-app purchases. too much. third, to go along with the second reason, SO MUCH of this game needs you to get diamonds to buy it. as i said, i don’t know if there are free ways to get these costumes. but… too bad. this is just a first glance at the game, and it’s HORRIBLE. if you REALLY want to get that 4+ rating, you can’t. you can only get it to like a 12+ or 9+. also, some of the text IS NOT TRANSLATED. this is why i’m giving it 2 stars. has potential, but greediness breaks out, and makes it have no potential :D

The art styles nice, and it’s a pretty fun game with a very nice community, however it’s very obvious that this game is targeted towards people willing to spend money to get things. The “free” outfits you can get with coins are very limited, and there’s hardly any options for getting gems to even attempt getting the special outfits. Another issue is the story challenges, those of us who are playing for free are unable to beat a lot of them because of untranslated tags, non-specified requirements, and yet again the appeal to those who have the money to buy a whole bunch of gems. I myself was able to make it to about level 5-13 before it wouldn’t let me beat it unless i got the ssr set it recommended, but with only 10 gems i was very obviously unable to get the 699 gem outfit. If not lowering the gem prices, then at least give more ways to earn free gems aside from the occasional event.

I love this app! Its a good game and such cute and adorable hairs,outfits,faces,it’s all so cute. I’ve been playing it non stop ever since I got it, it can be a very addicting game. But all the ppl on it are super nice and kind some cheat and beg to people to give them sets or something but there are always people that do something about it and report! I saw on other reviews that when you press on a clothing item it doesn’t load or won thing like that well they depends on your internet and I kinda don’t like the way that you have to buy to get the diamonds or gems, maybe let the 100 be free for noobs are players just starting the game! Overall I love this game and ppl should play it!

It’s a great game, but few suggestions: 1. Easier way to obtain gems (without payments) 2. Skin, hair, and eye colors (it’s kinda annoying when you’re just stuck with one color). That’s all. :)

The game is great in my opinion. You can chat with people and make pretty outfits. But…I feel like there should be improvements. Like in the public square, you should censor inappropriate words. Dress up: It’s great but sometimes it would lag and only load certain parts of the outfit. Also apparently some outfits wouldn’t even load :/. But great game :)

Alright so I think this game is super cute but I've been seriously frustrated with the fact that some outfits I wanna wear won't load NO MATTER WHAT! At first I thought it was my internet but it really just isn't, so it's super annoying tonot be able to wear some really cute outfits!

Another (admittedly less important) problem is the translation on tags, it's become a bit of a trial and error sorta thing to see what every tag means (and some are seriously close in resemblence) and it's made my story score lower then what it would be if the tags were just translated! For some reason they're translated everywhere but the story levels and I mean they probably were just missed which is whatever but please just go back in and fix them!!

Overall if these few things could be fixed I'd rate 5 stars! Please fix them!

It’s pretty good so far! I can tell y’all are working on it and updating it to try and make it even better I think.
Although right now I do have one complaint. I don’t wanna be that guy but please can you guys add the ability to change the skin color? More freedom of creativity and is better for persona making!

There is actually a HUGE issue I have with this game. At first i assumed it was my fault but it’s actually not.
So when I open PinkyGirl , a message asking if I want to purchase something for the game comes up. The first time this happened l ended up accidentally paying for it. (Could you guys help me with that on how to refund it?) I thought I had accidentally clicked on the button to start the transaction which I thought was just me signing in or something. Turns out, it AUTOMATICALLY starts the transaction without your input. (Starting the transaction as in pulling up the menu on my phone asking me to double tap the power button to confirm.)
This is pretty bad, at least based on my experience.
Who knows though maybe it is just my accidentally tapping something.

My suggestions are as follows!
Add more hair color options, it shouldn’t be difficult to edit the current pink hair and give us more options. Heck, I could do it for free. Aside from getting colored hair in the game it’s kinda hard. Also add more skin tone options! I know it’s a Japanese game, but even a paler skin tone and then tan and super dark would be nice. Once again, I know some of the fashion items have poses. But this update is easiest to add now then later down the line. It’ll take a while to make skin tone for each item but it’ll be worth it!!! Finally, make story challenge easier or less confusing. It is very hard for free players to get more than 2 stars on the later levels. I cannot continue story challenge. Please translate the categories to English too bcuz majority of players are English since u advertised to them.

I really enjoy this game and the socializing! And of course the clothes are adorable. One of the things that messes with the game play is the themes being untranslated (still in Mandarin) I used google translate with some making sense and others titled “small fresh”. The announcements of joking and leaving family or games also is untranslated. The Sakura gacha is glitched for me where after the 24 hour wait period is up it just restarts and I get no free roll. My phone and other users also experience our phones heating up when playing. Otherwise I definitely would get this game, people are really nice and the combination of media and game is very well planned out! Come join us!

this game is really fun! the outfits, faces, accessories, and the characters that you can make are really cute, but there’s one problem. you can’t change the hair color. the hair color is always stuck to pink and I love pink but sometimes if I wanna change the color to black or something, there’s no choice for that. the game would be even better if changing the color of hair was an option! another thing is it’s pretty hard to get new stuff. and im not talking about the ones in the shop. im talking about the ones that randomly come up on your screen, im pretty sure you have to pay money for those which is unnecessary but overall it’s really fun, cute, and I recommend!

Let me start off by saying this game is great— really fun and addictive. But also in DIRE need of some updates. 1: translate the clothing categories so that it’s possible to play the main challenges 2: more skin colors. from the START. 3: some kind of moderation. I’ve been on this game a couple days and at least half of the players are under 15. a kid already tried to lie to me about their age and pretend to be an adult. Be careful!!!! 4: more mini games. This game comes to a screeching halt when you run out of money. Make it easier to keep playing! Overall, an easy game to lose your money to. It’s gorgeous and relatively well made. Plus, no ads! Other than their own limited ones. Enjoy!

Game is very cute!! I love the outfits and the cute faces of the avatar. 🥰 I hope this game will continue to have more exciting new updates and features. 😊💖I hope there would be more ways to earn gems. :) I wished there was a world where we can meet other players and move our avatar around. That would be really cool and awesome. 😃💖❤️ It would be nice if we could walk our avatar in our little rooms and talk to our friends there too. 🙂
*I hope you can fix the bug where sometimes when we select an item in our closet, it would keep on loading and it will not equip that item on our avatar.* 💖✨✨

Ok, to start it’s an amazing game but I have a few tips. 1: Censor bad words in chat, there are a lot of kids on this game and ppl curse a lot. 2: take out the chat limit, ppl should be able to say everything they want to say in one text and shouldn’t have to wait 9 seconds to chat again. And fix chat reset-. 3: save slots and gems: ppl should be able to save without having to buy slots and if they need to give away gems in a way like make a log in bonus from time to time that gives gems. Why can’t we block people? I had someone say offensive things and when I told them off, they started to harass my posts and cursing and saying many of those offensive terms. We have reported them but they came back with like four other accounts. I also can’t delete comments on my post so I had to delete the post all together. They were commenting on a Mother’s Day post. How sick is that? We should be able to not only report, but block, or delete comments on our posts. Please take these into consideration I know many people have this problem as well, thank you.

This game is so cute and omg I can’t really😫🥺🥺but as for my criticism not really more like a suggestion for the hairs umm I would like it a lot if the hairs wasn’t all pink like you guys can add a color thing where we can choose what color we want the hairs to be you know..so after that if you’re here for a review to download PinkyGirl than you should definitely get it it’s so fun and the updates are amazing🤩 I am not a fake reviewer Or whatever but I really like tis game truly✨✨ so what are you waiting for try it go go get PinkyGirl you won’t be disappointed👋🏽🥰

The game has a lot to offer. You can creat ur own zone and get other zones as well. You can dress up ur character with a variety of different hairstyles and clothes. You can follow others and see their designs. There’s a lot to do. I just wish that there were multiple different skin tones. Please add different skin tones.

The game is super cute, I love it, although there are a lot of bugs. It sometimes crashes when I initially open it that day, or some things don’t load for a minute or two. I can deal with that. I love the outfits and furniture and the interface is easy to learn.

i really like this game it’s so cute but i have a few request there’s not a skin color for POC and i’m black i would’ve liked to change my skin colour to brown skin and you can’t buy that many things with the coins

I love the outfits and how you can dress up even if you don’t have gems! The one thing I don’t like is when you do levels in the description the words are cut off and makes it sometimes very hard to get three stars when the important info is cut off_:(´ཀ`」 ∠)

It’s dope! I love it!! Just that it’s rly hard to get diamonds and stuff. So maybe by getting each of those dress up competitions you get one diamond or something. Everything is fine but that! Love everything else <3

I actually really like this game, it’s cute and there aren’t any ads to boot. When I first got the game I was a little confused but it’s pretty easy to figure out. 10/10 would recommend :)

A really adorable and addictive game! They allow you to purchase hints on how to solve certain levels, but they haven’t been translated yet. That’s really the only problem I have with the game!

It’s a really cute and fun game! The only problem is I don’t know how to change the hair color from pink to any color.

This game is good so far I really like how much detail you guys put into it but I might have had one little glitch but that’s just one little glitch I still like the game a lot and I hope you can update it some more!

So far I really like this game but not everything is translated into English. The clothing categories for sorting and the hints from the cat in story mode and both in Chinese. This makes it very hard for English speaking players to complete story mode. Other than that I find it very cute and fun.

It’s cute fun and I like the yearly VIP instead of a month by month set up, just wish there was a download setting so clothes wouldn’t take so long to load, and maybe a little more organization on the accessories.

Super cute game but I wish there were different skin tones other than the default, also you can’t really get any clothes without money so...

I love this game! It’s similar to other dress up games I’ve played but more fun with more choices to make with clothing.
