Downloaded Spin , and even bought the premium version. We hosted a party for 12 couples, my wife created a game to play with the whole group. Using this up on the Apple TV was going to be how we choose the players, choose which game, etc. The creation of the wheels worked great. The appearance of the wheels was great. But the PHYSICS of the wheels was awful. Kept landing on the same thing. Not every time, but enough that EVERYONE agreed that this wheel was NOT working. For example, like 2 out of every 3 spins would be the same person (out of 12 options). I was trying to fix the this app length and the rotation duration with Spin on my iPhone, but for the life of me after trying to use Spin and trying to get it to actually pick randomly, it was embarrassing and we had to just quit using it. Disappointed that everything worked great, EXCEPT the one thing that I thought would’ve been a given with an app like this.
“Number of Entries”, “Counting Mode”, for some reason I thought Spin could handle weighted draws, but had it behind a paywall.
Paid, and found out it couldn’t. Everything looks decent, but weighted draws should be a basic feature for a raffle wheel.
I just bought Spin and I love it so far! It's perfect for helping me make a decision! I just had a few suggestions to make me love it even more. I think a slider bar that controls how long the chosen option remains up would be great. It appears and disappears very quickly, I wish it stuck around longer or maybe stayed put until I spun the wheel again. It would also be really cool if I could chose my own colors, like with a HEX code or a color picker.
