In my original review, I gave FakeMe two stars. They've removed videos with TV and movie stars to swap. There are no dual face swaps, not that they worked. This is not a good update, my friends. I no longer get the server errors and my faces to swap are no longer lost after every swap, but it still is not worth the money for PRO. My guess is that you couldn't get the original features to work properly and you just cut them. The face swaps that I originally got to work looked good, too bad you lost the features that really made you stand out. Good luck on your next update. I will check back in a few weeks.

So FakeMe is OK if you want to only upload their very very limited selection of memes and pre done celebrity/ anime face swaps. You are supposed to be able to load stuff you find online like memes and GIFs or use your own videos of friends and family,pets,whatever and do face swaps etc. The problem is loading any outside video NEVER works. I tried the free version, it worked for me and I did a month subscription. At that point nothing worked right. I tried over and over to use video not on their site or my camera. It fails every time no matter the format is or where it came from. Half the time you get the original picture as a download with no changes to it at all. The other times it just downloads a blurry glitching unfocused mess that you can’t even make out what it is. So if all you want to do is choose from maybe 100 or so boring pre loaded images then this is for you. I suspect that FakeMe is just a scam to take your money. I canceled the subscription after 48 hours. Pure trash app.

The video side of FakeMe used to be free and if you wanted it to be longer, you had to pay PRO. But now it’s price-locked. This is the same thing everyone else does.

FakeMe used to be great but then they decided to join other devs in paywalling a feature that was only 20 seconds. Why? It’s just 20 seconds, nothing was wrong with keeping the old format.

So I had FakeMe for a while and the custom video has been great. but as of this last update whenever you try to do any video it doesn’t load and says error and to Check the policies and it’s the only app I’ve found that’s been great at doing the deep fake custom videos but now you can’t even do that. Every single time it says error and repeats the message. If it wasn’t for that FakeMe would be 5/5.

Ever since they updated the AI, the deepfake results I’ve been getting are absolute nightmare fuel. It warps and distorts the faces so badly to the point where it looks like stuff straight out of a creepypasta. I think the AI is a little bit too hard on itself, and tries to capture every little thing it sees move on the prompt, and ends up making your model make HORRIFYING faces, or just downright silly ones. I’d definitely consider reworking the AI. I’m actually gonna have nightmares from what I saw, dude.

When ever I make my face move, it keeps giving me input issue. From the deepfake app: “Oh no. There was a problem. This could be related to your input data or an issue on our backbend. If you are using a custom video, please ensure that the video does not violate our policies. If the error persists, please reach out to support with further details.” Like it’s been 3 months and nothings done. It doesn’t process with images that aren’t real now

FakeMe seems to be down more often than it is up lately. It worked for a couple hours this mornin and has not worked for the past 8-hours.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it still doesn’t work. FakeMe event down for a few hours each of the last three days. It is frustrating.

Takes too long to create and sometimes I still don’t get any result

This is without a doubt one of the best swapping apps. 2 things that would make it perfect: (1) process video at 30 FPS, currently limited at 20 FPS; and (2) process image and video swaps at target resolution. Currently can only produce squared 1:1 output. At least if it had these options, that way you could request even with understanding of a longer processing time. But again, GREAT

This is one of the best Deep Fake apps out there. I’d give it five stars except that the experience with photos isn’t as strong as it should be. Photos seem to always be cropped to a smaller size upon upload, perhaps in order to optimize the face swap? Regardless, it would be great if we were given the option to process the entire original photo. Thanks!

It’s great app but two-problem it’s that I tried making people sing dame da ne but I can’t animate the person and I can only face swap and not make the sing the song and the other problem is the same thing but slightly different and I tried make people face swap on featured but wouldn’t work but it’s a good app I would rate five stars if you fix this

Love FakeMe , seems like system is getting better and better at clean swaps that are more natural looking since I first starting using. Recently though I’ve started getting “NSFW” warnings on content that is definitely not in this category. This is a new issue and hoping it’s a temporary glitch.

Had multiple issues after downloading and paying for pro account, after being solved by developers it looks great, I do feel that occasionally there are bugs but final result is amazing and looks really nice

I’m glad to find a good replacement to FaceApp after it removed its face swap feature. I like to use this to imagine my characters.

Do you only thing I should do is making some videos

I don’t have an issue with watermarks, but y’all went from something small and out of the way but still visible, to the watermark covering the whole screen. Can y’all fix this? Cause it’s pointless doin a deepfake if a watermark is gonna cover the whole face.

FakeMe blocks the right content. Great app as all the others should be banned until the same is implemented. When researching these apps, it’s great to see one protecting from AI as this has.

FakeMe is extremely close to being perfect! I love FakeMe. Videos where the face is not so close to the camera, FakeMe is perfect for those videos if you want to switch face, Thank you!

Add an NSFW filter (add it where you also could turn it on and off whenever in the settings (make it so it requires age verification). This suggestion may have huge con but that’s what I think FakeMe should do to make some happy. Otherwise it’s perfect.

FakeMe is the best! And the ads are short too. Easy to work with too.
