Medal.tv - #1 Social Clipping Reviews

I’ve been using Medal for a couple months and I love the way everything is organized! It’s easy to do pretty much everything on Medal. I would like it if you guys at Medal could add something where you type a key word(s) and clips that have to do with that key word(s) pop up. One song I found in a Medal clip was so cool I added it in my school presentation and my teachers and my class loved it! So yeah, great job Medal! 😄

So Medaltv was working great on both my iPad and PC for 6+ months. But, all of the sudden, it doesn’t let me download any clips on the mobile app. I select all of the clips that I want to download, I press download 1080p clips, the loading bar comes up, then nothing happens. I’ve tried running repair mode on my PC, deleting and redownloading Medaltv on mobile, making sure that medal has photo access, restarting my iPad, but nothing works. If any developer has any solution, that would be great!

Hey I love Medaltv , well designed and nice UI but was wondering if you were planning on adding a feature to iOS devices where you can take clips with (ex. records gameplay 30 seconds back)or something similar to how you take clips on Xbox, since it would make my life SO much easier. hope that’s something you can look into, thanks!

I love using Medal, but when I scroll through clips, I watch the video, my eye goes down to read the title, but instead, I read the latest comment… it confused me at first, and now it’s just too much effort as a user to be going from video, to the bottom of the screen to read the title, and then the comments. The hierarchy of information does not translate well with the current layout!

This new update is fantastic. My clips load instantly! App is running buttery smooth 🤙🏻 hope to see editing and trimming make a comeback in mobile as well 👏🏻

Every gamer needs this on their computer. The iOS Medal app however is missing a lot of settings options and the interface can definitely be bettered. Profile pages look weird on mobile, just make profiles look the same on computer and mobile. Also missing some features such as friends list, groups, and chats.

works perfectly fine on pc and its not too confusing. Its just on mobile I hate that your monitor has to be close to you and on to be able to look at your clips and drafts. That’s the only reason I downloaded Medaltv for mobile. If you guys made some changes I would def download on mobile again.

Medal is great love it but idk if it’s just me but when I have medal and play valorant I get big FPS drops for some reason like I’m at 60 FPS and a few seconds later it’s like 2 FPS or 0 FPS where my whole screen just freezes so I deleted medal and my game was working just fine but I still wanna know if it’s just my potato pc or it’s medal?

I’ve been using medal for a couple years now. I’ve enjoyed my experience with medal until recently. I usually upload the clips from my computer and then download them off Medaltv on my phone and usually this works really well. However recently every time I download a clip it puts it into slow motion. If you could help me out or fix this that would be great

Was loving medal on mobile, everything worked fine but now all my videos download in slow motion for some reason. It’s not even an option so I’m not sure how to fix it. Also all downloaded clips (pc and mobile) automatically add a watermark even with the option turned off.

is Medaltv not really compatible with apple devices? when i use it on my galaxy s20 it opens and starts record recording my screen when i open certain apps (games) can’t seem to figure out how to do that on my iphone xs max. if anyone knows how to sweet that up please help greatly appreciated. star rating once this is solved!

After last update no video will save to my phone. So this service has became useless to me which is really sad cause I love medal.
UPDATE*** Shoutout to ZitroLee. He helped me with my issues so I’m here to add on to my review. Love medal and I’m glad the developers are active on here and on discord so I got my problems solved asap

I also forgot to mention, when I open the application on my pc before playing a game or warzone , it makes my game distorted and yes before you think maybe it’s my pc I have a high end gaming pc , brand new , not a pre build . It’s every time I open Medaltv. Every single time. As well as if you use Xbox game bar and had opened medal before hand or while in a party your voice becomes distorted.

It works on pc but everytime I try to see my drafts on mobile it just shows the loading thing telling me to restart my pc and mobile syncing is allowed on my pc so idk what’s happening

Starting using this platform because of Sentinels. Now I don’t have to worry about missing an awesome clip when all I have to do is press F8.

When I play VALORANT, I like to use medal to capture my kills and my hotkey is the right button or the middle button on the mouse. When I went to the clips in medal, all of the clips was just a VALORANT loading screen. I lost the amazing clips I recorded today. But yesterday everything was working fine. Please fix this or tell me how to fix this. Or is this just happening to me.

App is great, love the notifications when i open valorant, love how fluid it feels, everything its a great app.

When I first got Medaltv it worked fine, now when I open Medaltv its just a black screen. I’ve uninstalled multiple times still the same problem idk what to do because I really liked Medaltv. Please fix this, this is the first time I’ve ever experienced this with an apple app and I’ve had had iPhone all my life.

Im currently using on IOS and I have Medaltv downloaded here to that I can download my clips. but every time I try to save/download it does nothing. nothing save to my photo gallery/video. pls fix this.

It’s a great app and I use it on my pc but I just wish that I could see my non uploaded clips from my phone. Anyways great job metal team keep up the great work! <3

New app, updates regularly. Can’t wait for each update!

Love the new layout! A lot less buggy and clean, social design. My only problem is now we can’t trim/rename clips in-app anymore. My only issue though :)

On my phone I'm unable to load the apl? it stays on a black screen forever and I can't get it to load even after attempting reinstalling.

i download my clips to camera roll and i press on them and it makes my photos app crash. any fixes? -11 pro max

Honestly, medal is an amazing application for clipping, I used previous free apps and would get very poor quality, when I started with medal it had amazing quality on my laptop, and the fact I could link my accounts and save it to my camera roll to send it to my friends was amazing, this is a must-get app. I recommend it get it now!

Have this on my pc to clip stuff however Medaltv is so bad....

Hi I used to use plays.tv for many years however once they closed I was sad. Little did I know this amazing new group would pick up the mantle and honestly I couldn’t be any happier!!!! Keep up the great work 🤩
