DSLoadStation is designed to look exactly like the original Synology DS. And it takes in your credentials first before asking to pay a steep subscription. I am all for paying small devs, but this one doesn’t feel right.

After logging in to my Synology NAS from this application my SSL certificate was changed on my machine. My log in credentials were stolen and the application disabled 2FA from my NAS. This allowed them to log in to my Synology freely for half an hour before I notice something was up.

DONT DOWNLOAD!

You can’t even try it and donate if you are happy with it, the replies are in poor English, which makes you doubt a few times more.
I can’t believe that Apple allows these apps to be in their lists, not that Synology dumps its own development to be managed by a “charge first, then use”.
keep using your browser version, even on a phone / tablet. It’s just not correct.

Nothing more worth than a free download app. Paid life time fee to unlock features, but these features are useless. I can’t figure out what this “search” button search for. I wish the in the “web” view, when you click a web site. It will copy the web url and create a task automatically. But this web view just like a history. It’s worthless.

Dev, no need to put the “I know the subscription can be a surprise” reply. I get that you want to earn money for your time but personally I won’t be paying for this when I can do it for free via browser.

Honestly, it’s off-putting to enter credentials then see that I have to pay.

Awesome when it works but their server is down sometimes and in the past it has been for many months. Also they double charged me for yearly after buying lifetime fee and had to have Apple refund me.

It's nice that app gives you 7 day trial. Adding tasks to my download station fails so I'll likely have to cancel the subscription.

DSLoad Station has been well worth the subscription. DSLoadStation works great, and the developer’s support is exceptional. When I had a login issue, he was incredibly patient and responsive, working through multiple emails to help. I truly appreciate his dedication. Rare to find such great support these days—highly recommend!

Excellent layout, features, and functionality. VPN status is a nice touch. Ties in nicely with download station! Highly recommended!

DSLoadStation is indispensable for downloading movies and shows on your phone. Absolute must for anyone with an iPhone and a Synology NAS

When we download some special sources , the special UA (user agent ) will enable connect.

Why is this a free app? I don’t think it works if you don’t buy a subscription. Why have it appear in DSLoadStation Store as a free app? If it’s well made I don’t mind paying I just find it unsporting

You can use the free version without any restrictions and is total fun to have controll if your Download Station from every inch of the world.

Hands down the best I’ve used for Synology. Good layout/design. Adding downloads has almost all the possible options available. Developer is very responsive and always improving DSLoadStation .
