I was looking for an app to try to mirror content to my Samsung TV. Miracast failed to successfully connect to my TV so I immediately uninstalled the “free” trial. Fast forward one month when suddenly I find out it set itself up as a subscription service BILLING EVERY 7 DAYS! I never agreed to this scam for ~ $30 / month. Do not install Miracast!
They lock you in by saying you can cancel, but then you have no option. When you click on the subscription it just says that it is active. Apple you need to do something about apps in your store swindling people
When I clicked on screen mirroring it said 2 day trial or 3.99 and so on and I’m not old enough to pay 3.99 every week so yeah😒
This could be I tried to use my Sony Blu-ray player. Miracast recognized the player didn’t recognize Miracast .

Samsung is not supported yet, despite the info page saying it is.
