Distracting gambling ads
There was literally a digital slot machine ad that popped up when I opened the app. Less than 5 verses later of reading Luke, I get Levi's jeans popping up in my face, which seems sort of ironic considering the traditional reputation the Duoay Rheims gets and the modernist reputation of jeans. Instead of getting distracted yourself, this app does it for you, so maybe it's of higher value than I'm giving. I think one star is quite generous though.

Glitchy on day 8
On day 8 the readings keep automatically exit out of app when you press on Judith chapter 17. Then when you look at your percentage done with Judith, it says you’ve read 100%. It doesn’t make any sense. Big glitch that needs fixed I would say. I would like my money back.

Not based off the Catholic Bible
While this app appeared to be a great resource for when I don’t have access to my bible, I am rating it 1-star because while it is listed as “a holy catholic bible” app— it is NOT the Catholic bible. It is missing the books from it. I would not download this if you are Catholic and want access to all of scripture.
