I am tired of game that are first a bait and switch and than begins the grift. The games are designed to cheat and create a purchase to keep playing. It’s like a drug dealer. They let you have some fun for a small bit and than the cheating and grift begins when you wanna play. They almost all do this. It’s a formula for ripping people off. They know they can let people play fairly and win but they see your doing well and then they start cheating to make you spend money. It’s a crime. And i am done. The other games will bombard you with ads and or both some are way worse than others but this one… its just so sad they cant just be fun and either let us buy the game or something. But this grifting. Is gotta be reported. So that is what i am going to do I am going to start reporting to the consumer protections agency. All these so called games that are not games they are opportunities for these companies to steel from you.

I really liked this game at first but it got impossible to win. Like all these games the collections you have to accumulate to get rewards come with “extra” objects that are difficult at best to obtain enough of so right now I have about 8 collections I can’t complete for this reason. Part of the reason I liked this game was because it gave the option of playing hidden object game or match 3 games but the last 2 areas I opened are strictly match 3. Not cool to change up the game like that. I love match 3 games but I always end up deleting them because I don’t have the income to pore lots of money into them to get power ups that don’t really help that much and certainly don’t guarantee you’re going to win a board. My standard complaint on all these “free” games is I wish they would just charge a set fee to purchase and have the things you need to play within the game like on gaming platforms such as XBox. These free games if you want to play cost too much money for little reward. I get the developers have to recoup costs but it’s ridiculous the amount of money they expect players to spend on them to get ahead. Thanks but no thanks. I’ll now be deleting yet another free game due to this. Too bad. I was actually enjoying it.

Don’t download unless you’re prepared to put real money into it because you won’t get ahead and will just end up frustrated.

So, I have been playing this game for many, many years. I have thoroughly enjoyed it up to now. This business of making us increase our play on the other islands in order to play the new event is ridiculous and I am just not having it. The levels are very hard now and unless I spend money to purchase tools to help, I am stuck. I run down the energy and frankly, I am not happy.
So please reconsider this nonsense as I do enjoy this game, but I am on a fixed income and just simply cannot afford to spend the money to play, especially in these tough economic times.

As a fan of most G5 hidden object games, I was excited about Ed the latest revamp of this game. However, I quickly hit a brick wall with its limited functionality.

I have noticed that updates to my wish list don’t seem to be sent to my game friends who are regular, reliable grifters. As a result I am continuing to get components I no longer need. Also, the lack of ability to gift (or receive) relic components is frustrating.

To make decent progress, I feel like I have to keep replaying scenes to get components or spend real money to buy them. As I am not interested in doing either, I have almost stopped playing completely. This game should take a clue from Hidden City’s popularity based on the features it offers. It’s at the bottom of my play list and on the verge of being stopped if it doesn’t significantly improve in those areas.

I play Secret Society. G5 promised to gift players 16 crystals to Secret Society if they would play Hidden Treasures to level 20. Crystals to be gifted to SS game after 48 hours at level 20 in Hidden Treasures.
I am now almost at level 21, well past 48 hours at level 20, and surprise no crystals. What will G5’s excuse be? Oh, it has to be in a certain time period (not stated), oh you have to download through xyz platform (Facebook?), oh you have to give us all your personal information so we can plaster you with ads, etc. etc.
Hidden Treasures itself is okay, not particularly challenging, but easy way to pass time.
Very disappointed at this variation of bait and switch but again not surprised given G5’s poor track record. Do not expect customer support to be responsive. I will wind up deleting both games.

Update on my review. P.s. the game gives you gems for completing a review, which I had done previously. It asks for a review early in the game. The game was fun to begin with. It has potential to be a great game. However, it gets way too hard too fast. It doesn’t give you as many options to match the gems as most games and makes it more difficult for combos. It also makes it nearly impossible to beat a level the second, third, fourth time around because it doesn’t give you enough moves to complete the tasks. I’m not sure why the game gives you coins, you can’t use it to buy anything except to open the next area on the board. And it cost gems, not money to buy more energy for more game play. It has an interesting idea and seemingly a good story but, honestly, I don’t know if I will continue to play because it’s more frustrating than fun now. I play a lot of match 3 games and I know some levels can be hard, but it becomes like that for every level. It cost energy to play each level but it doesn’t always give you the reward you are playing for if you beat that level. If you want a game where you never seem to have enough moves, this is the game for you.

This game was fun until it got too difficult for me to see in the hidden object phase. I switched to match three and continue to enjoy playing the game, even buying jewels when I’ve tried numerous times to do it without. Here’s my criticism; several times I’ve used jewels to solve a particularly difficult level after which the game disappears. I have to go to my home screen and click on it to bring it back up. When I do that the same level, that I just completed by using jewels, pops up and I have to repeat it. Again I have to use jewels. I understand you have to make money but I won’t continue to play if you’re going to be an actual “Pirate” about it. Please reimburse my money or give me extra jewels.

I been playing this game for a while now and I have been having fun with it and now it has black out and I can’t get back into the game it keeps showing that it is reloading this has been four days now. All of my other games are playing but Treasures has been doing nothing for me and I am going to lose all of my treasures. Missouri Jim. I have had to start over again to play this game and it is a great game to play I have had to start from the beginning again. Now for a third time this has black out on me. Please check this game out all of the other games are working.

This game has been fun to play so far, just started it yesterday.
Easier to reach goals than some other G5 games. We’ll see if it ends up being like the others over time. I don’t like how all the G5 games like these have a minimum play moves which make it almost impossible to win on your own on certain ones. Even with help from different inventory tools can you win sometimes. I have erased other games because of the frustration I feel to try to win a stage. I rather pay 6.99 for match 3 games like the ones Big Fish games put out where you are not nickeled and dimed to death paying for more tools to help you win. I find these games to be more relaxing to play, pay once and it’s yours without paying more and no time or move limits. G5 could learn from the Big Fish match 3 games.

Hidden Treasures is great, but there are a few things that could make it ten times better. 1. Don’t make the event quest island just in Match-3 mode—that should be searchable like the rest of the islands. 2. Have some mini-events during each monthly update like in Hidden City—this game is starting to get a little too easy. 3. Make the text anticipating the completion of collections a little less on the nose. Instead, have it drive the storyline further like the rest of the items in the collection. 4. Have some actual info and promos for the game itself available on the Facebook page instead of posted links from that game to other ones. 5. A question mark icon for further explanation of the goals within the event window and event statue—again, like in Hidden City. PLEASE put these in the next update. Other than that, the game is great! Keep it up!

It’s a little early to tell if this game will keep me interested, but at least in the first bit it’s enough to keep me engaged.

Okay, it’s been a couple weeks. This game seems to be a little better than some of the other G5 games, on par with Sherlock Holmes and that Egyptian one. However, I’ve hit the Darkness mode at some location or other, and I can’t get it to work correctly. The little golden arrow bobs at the top, the explanation banner appears, but when I try to move the spotlight around the screen so I can collect objects, nothing happens. What am I missing? Ready to delete and move on. Disappointing…

I like the game but there are some areas for improvement. It would be good to be able to zoom out a little further so you can find the island you want to explore easier. All the newer islands are all match 3 only. It would be good to have the option to seek objects instead of being stuck with just match 3, and they use so much energy and are difficult to complete in one or two tries, so you either have to use power ups or wait a few hours to get more energy.

I like hidden objects games. This one has beautiful graphics. I began playing two days ago. I am really good at finding hidden objects. Eventually they became invisible unless I use the magnifying glass. G5 games are known for being expensive to play, and this one is living up to G5’s reputation. I’d like to know when we get to use our won items? I understand they first go to fulfilling completion of each Island’s journeys… I can’t continue to spend money on so many purchases. Am I missing an option for utilizing my winnings?

I like it. Haven’t been playing long. Only a couple of minor things.
It would be nice to be able to shrink the area to see the islands and such all together.
Why can we not open the envelope icon without downloading apple’s mail app? I don’t use it and don’t want to use it. I deleted that app years ago. It would be so easy (for players) to be able to just click on the envelope that opens an over-lay box: Read, delete, done.

Have played longer than other equivalent titles & reason for that is simple: Treasures is FUN! Having a choice between search or match three is a great idea! In seek there are various collecting requirements I’ve not experienced before, such as “paired items”, “silhouetted items” & more. Makes the game even better. Graphics are very good, items sharp and well hidden so they are easily discernible yet not easily found. Never frustrating though. Hint system is robust & several options allow for degree of hint given. I’ll be playing this for a long time while dodging the health issue of the day! Thanks to devs for this one!!

I like this game because it's not too hard but holds your interest if you like hidden object games and want a story to go with it to relax and enjoy for free then definitely you would like TheHiddenTreasuresMystery. There's others too from the same company so you can always switch to another one and still save ur progress. I would recommend this hidden object adventure game but I wish you would make it a little more interactive like you get choices more often than just fulfilling quests already planed out for you. Overall good but not amazing game.

I think this game is great. It improves your brain and observation skills without making it too difficult to reach the next goal. Some games are so difficult to reach the next level that people get bored and lose interest. As I said this game is great and fun to play. Please make more games like this one, it’s enjoyable. P. S. I forgot to add one thing when players are searching for clues and get deducted 5 seconds off their time because they picked a wrong spot it causes people to rush to try and beat the time. Rushing causes mistakes people will start to feel like they don’t have a chance to win, that causes frustration, people play the games to relax and have fun. Just a suggestion you want to take the 5 seconds deduction out of your games. Your games are truly very good.

This game is amazingly made from the gameplay down to the details and artwork for each character, item and location. You can do a match 3 style, hidden object style, or even both and use items to help out. It is not a pay to win at all, it gets harder over time with limited resources, but if you use things sparingly then u can go very far with just a little. I’ve been playing for about a month now and still have a long way ahead but 10/10 definitely recommend this game.

So far, this seems to be a very interesting game. There are lots of quests, rewards, and incentives to continue on to new adventures. Graphics seem great, cohesive storyline so far. It will hopefully occupy my interest off and on for awhile. If there could be anything negative said about it by me it would be that it could maybe become addictive, but that might not seem like a con to the developer/s. :)

I so so much love the story line. I find this game very interesting who would not want to find hidden treasure. This is so much relaxing and challenging at the same time. The people who have created this game needs a lot of praise for the graphics, storyline, characters and the game itself Bravo you all have such creative minds. Thank you for creating such a magnificent game.
