1 year agoI have constant issues with Instories. I am in charge of social media for a well known injector and I will spend HOURS, literally sometimes 6-8 hours on a project. I will get it perfect and save- then all of my slides are out of order. The timeline is completely off. Numerous glitches. Entire videos and photos go missing. It’s beyond frustrating to spend that much time only to have my work be complete garbage. I am looking for other options.

1 year agoI’ve been an Instories PRO user for several YEARS & this app has finally done me in! They’ve got classy templates, (which you literally have to wait a month in between the newest 3-5 ones they add ea. month). But there are too many cheaper apps out there today that don’t have near the glitches & grocery lists of other problems that are equally, if not even better than Instories! I’ve kept my mouth shut over their CONSTANT price hikes, but I am furious now. Last week upon opening my Instories app a huge purple pop up covered my screen, with bare minimum wording-it had NO FULL DESCRIPTION AT ALL on the entire poster!! It was super misleading, as I was under the impression (mainly due to the fact of the crazy high cost of $50!) as their “guide” most SURELY would be packed with never before heard of secret HACKS & overflowing with NEW tips & info! NOT a beginners guide or basically instagram itself’s how-to instructions, rewritten! I’ve been round & round with their customer service “Anna” for daysss now & get nowhere. Basically saying “sorry, not our problem, but thanks for the $50 bucks!” I’ve tried disputing the charge via Apple & it’s been denied twice! So I guess I’ll have to fight this with my bank, since they clearly do not respect their longtime PRO users at ALL! At this point it’s not even about the $, but the principle & how this is being handled! This developer is a total scam & are crazy, thinking they can trick & scam their users like this! I am so upset over this!

A lot of bugs that need to be fixed
I used to use this app, and it worked fine before but since getting back on it and getting a subscription that I started the three day trial I’m so glad I did that first because the whole app is messed up I can’t make any stories or posts or anything it keeps bringing me back to choosing a template and a picture no matter what I click on it will keep re-popping back up it won’t let me even go to my profile or anything I’ve deleted and re-downloaded the app to see if that would fix anything and it still doing the same thing. I like what the app offers but if it’s not working properly I can’t do anything with it. Subscription canceled now. 😕

Couldn’t edit AT ALL
Absolutely horrible app! I was so excited to utitilize its features after seeing what my peers have been able to create with it. HOWEVER, I’ve redownloaded this app FOUR separate times and restarted my phone multiple times to use this app, but this window suggesting templates WILL NOT stop popping up. Regardless of how many times, I tap Cancel on the tab, IT WILL NOT GO AWAY. This is absolutely ridiculous. I’ve gone through my settings to try different things as well such as disabling and enabling notifications, allowing all access to photos and limiting it, etc. Absolutely nothing seems to work and I’m extremely upset. 0/5 Stars from me. I would include a screenshot video if I could.

Prices rise too much!
I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND you to utilize this app because of their pocket unfriendliness to the premium users. I have been using this app for more than a year, but just in one year the prices escalated tremendously to a point of almost doubling. They justify the high prices to improvements but I believe this is not fair because not every improvement should be translated into higher prices. Their price increase is just CONTINUOUS!!! There are cheaper apps that offer similar services with good quality that you may consider especially if u intend to have a longer subscription !!!
