Neon - Aesthetic Video Effects Reviews

I downloaded Neon a while ago and it crashed on lunching, and I gave a one star, the developer responded
— "Hey! We are terribly sorry about the crash. We discovered it yesterday at launch and fixed it as soon as we could. We have been working very hard on this application and hope that you will like the effects. The developer kept their word and I found out Neon was worth giving a second chance. 👏♥️
Also I’d be good if they can fix the bug where after the video is done compressing for 9:16, it rotates to right side making it square size. But 9:16 works perfectly on the pictures ツ

Neon is great! And it has good potential. When I first got Neon it wouldn’t let me in and kept crashing. The developers fixed that problem. I have only had one crash so far. Neon takes really cute photos. The only problem that I have is that when you take a video the sound won’t work :/ besides that it’s very vintage and retro. Keep it up developers!

when Neon first came out, it sucked because it crashed every time i opened it. the SAME DAY, many people left a bunch of reviews similar to mine. still, in the SAME DAY, the creators read the reviews and came out with an update to solve this. very impressed. app is a great editor, but i would recommend a timer on taking pics and videos. maybe for 3 seconds? thanks!!

i absolutely love Neon, i think it’s very fun to play around with, and everyone should use this if you like the vintage filters.

My problem, however, is not being able to load in a video from my personal camera roll. every time i try to import a video, every time i go to use the video crop option, my video is extremely off centre and not at all fixable. i can not save and download my video, and Neon is basically rendered useless if i can’t even see my video with the filters on.

please fix this soon, i love using Neon！

I went on it to edit my first aesthetic TikTok. I had already filmed it, so I hit import. My choices were “square” and regular length. I wanted regular length, so I hit that button. It immediately put the whole video on its side. Which also cropped off most of the video. I thought it would fix itself when I saved it. It absolutely did not! Then when I tried to film the video on Neon , it did not give a choice for no filter or speed. I trusted the other reviews, now I regret it.

Filters really give that aesthetic taste your looking for, my only problem was with the text they should make it were you can free move text around like Instagram or Snapchat also there was complications like Neon crashing wasn’t a huge problem for me, but would recommend for it to get fixed. That’s all thanks! ;)

i own other apps just as this one that you have to PAY for to use the simple vhs feature to place on videos you already have. this one provide THREE different styles free of charge(WITHOUT WATERMARK) and i think that’s pretty awesome. get Neon if you’re looking for vhs edits to overlay a video you’ve already filmed. it’s super simple!

It’s a cool app, but I just see it as unfair for people to have to get a subscription just to import videos or photos. I don’t wanna sound like a Karen, but I personally think it should be free. Now I understand needing the description for the more cooler and special effects, but just to import and edits videos or photos? I don’t think it would be necessary.

So I downloaded Neon today and I was trying to make a video with music but every time I tap on the song I want to use, Neon takes me back to my home screen. Now I don’t know if it’s because of Neon ’s policy or what but I don’t appreciate that happening so if y’all could let me know why that is happening that would be amazing, bye!

I just started using Neon when it started working, otherwise there are some minor bugs, it kinda takes a while to load. I haven't really been able to fully use it, but you should probably fix it! I will add one extra star if it works as it's supposed to! Keep up the great work guys! :D

I’ve seen rly good reviews of people saying that Neon is cute and having the same problem as me but I can’t even use Neon without crashing and a lot of people say it’s fixed but for me it’s crashing whenever I open so plz fix if you can

What happened to just buying Neon ... this subscription stuff is why our generation can’t save any money.. I get it u need to make money too.. but if I’m not getting free items every week or a least a shout-out on instagram .. we don’t pay that much for Netflix( 12 a month) and ur getting over hundreds of movies.. not worth it

You see, I love Neon! It gives me cute effects and everything, the problem is lately I’ve been trying to get in and it keeps on crashing. I tried it on my ipad and it didn’t work, on my phone too. Could you please fix this? I really love Neon.

I really love Neon and the different filters it allows you to use. My only suggestion would be if you could add more the option of for the video to be full framed instead of cropped or even adding a variety of different crop options. Overall great app!

EDIT: The dev team already created a fix and this is working fine now. There are some pretty neat effects to use!

This isn’t off to a great start. I understand not every bug can be caught but at least make sure we can use it some when released. From looking at the other reviews no one is able to use this yet.

Everything about Neon is amazing except for when i try to put in an edit like a video, it cuts off more than half the edit and it wont let me crop it back to the original place. I would very much like it if you could fix this so i can redo some of my edits please and thank you!

I would be nice if it had more effects. I love Neon because I use it to make video edits and every time I press edit and I start typing it goes back and when I try again it goes back the main screen

You should get Neon cause it’s just awesome and it has the best quality ever. Sometimes I like to make a slo-mo and then add a filter that makes it look like oldy. I like that a lot and Neon has that so I love this. Mostly my favorite thing about Neon is the quality. It’s just soo good.

Thank you so much! I’ve been looking for an app like this one that had all the aesthetic features I’ve been looking for. It’s free and easy to use! This is great for instagram edits also. This is an amazing free app and I suggest you download it!

So now that you fixed the bug with starting Neon , I need to be able to import a video. It lets you do that. Ok, chill. But after cropping, nope. Nada. Nothing. I spammed that done button. Sure this’ll be fixed soon, as it was only just released.
