Widget is incorrect

I don’t have a problem with PeriodicTable itself, I like how it gives plenty of information and having all theoretical elements up to 127, but the widgets are just plain wrong, every element that is there is posted on the table two places before the actual element, for example yttrium(39) would be shown in the place of rubidium (37) which isn’t helpful when I’m using it to remember elements and where they go

Version for phone good, but bad for watch

I love this version for the Periodic-Table, especially the layout and the graphics. They are very well done. However, there is a major problem with the version for the Apple Watch. Whoever ported over the element data for the Apple Watch version mixed up numbers of neutrons versus protons for at least the first few groups of the periodic table. That would be groups one through at least group four. I haven’t checked them all. I have not recommended this to my students at least for the watch version, since it’s very misleading on those points. Hopefully they will correct this version for the watch. Five stars for the iOS phone version, and 3 stars for the iOS watch version. Hence the average of 4 stars.

Solid app

Really helpful. One thing I wish I could do is see the entire periodic table at once. Another thing is I’d like to be able to do is search elements by their symbol (like search pb and have lead come up) as well as having the atomic number displayed in the search without having to click on the element. Besides that it’s super helpful

Where is the pro version?

As soon as you reply, I will raise this to 5 stars. I just want to pay you for PeriodicTable and I’m not seeing a place to pay for it. Plus I want the pro version if there is one!

Edit: I found the pro, awesome app! I wish there were more pictures of the elements, like Theodore Gray’s The Elements but for the price, it’s REALLY good!

Great

There’s a lot of facts on here and while there is a part you’d have to pay for you can still use like 90% of the features. There’s even a built in wiki link for whatever element you’re looking at

Incredible asset for referencing elements

I am amazed at what you get for free with PeriodicTable. I feel guilty enough that I will probably purchase the pro version. Great reference without being overly complicated. Been over 20 years since I had any college chem, so I really appreciate PeriodicTable. Thank-you!

Get This App

PeriodicTable is amazing! I was skeptical at first, because the last app I got for the Periodic Table of Elements was glitchy and horrible. But PeriodicTable is great. It helped me so, so much on my science test last semester, and I got an A+! I learned about Gold (AU), Silver (AG), Tungsten (W) and much, much more! I recommend PeriodicTable not just for study, but also for fun!

Simple and useful

I don’t actually write reviews, but I thought I should write about this one.
Because it’s simple and nearly free, because there are few features that are available in the premium (pro) version.
In short, it’s a very simple, useful and easy to use app.
Thank you!

What an upgrade

PeriodicTable really takes it to the next level. The periodic app I had before was basic in comparison. It has the electron configurations, with real time animation, which is incredible. Something that I’ve wanted for a long time. And also tons of information about each element, and 7 new elements(which are kind of scary) but knowledge is power. So, kudos

Nice level of detail.

Nicely designed and a wealth of Chemistry and molecular information. Moving through the information takes a little getting used to, but once you figure it out it is simple. I have a degree in Chemistry and the level of detail useful. Thank you very much for all your hard work

Perfect Reference App! Developer Question…

PeriodicTable is everything I want as an undergraduate Chemistry student! There’s so much info within every tab! Fantastic app!

One minor concern I have is really just with the boiling points and melting points in the “Properties of some alkanes” table. I believe these values are switched on each alkane such that the melting point is higher than the boiling point (ex. Propane: Boiling Point = -187.6 C, Melting Point = -42.1 C). This appears to be consistent on all of the listed alkanes. A flip of all values would do the trick. Love PeriodicTable !

This is a good game to play

This is an educational game for all ages and I like it even as an 11 year old. It’s honestly just something to learn about when your bored and want to take your mind off the the world around you. It’s so cool to see all the elements the world provides for us and there are still more to discover. If I like it you will too trust me.😃

I love everything

There is probably something for my every chemistry need… In the free version. In the pro version, it somehow makes it even more amazing than it already is! I don’t know exactly what’s on the pro version, but I’m sure it’s worth every penny.

Now I’m going to list my favorite features:
1. When you press the “W” button, it takes you straight to a Wikipedia page for that element.
2. It gives you all the possible information for the element you’re looking at including the name in Latin.
3. It shows a picture of the element.
4. It works as a normal periodic table.
5. No ads.
6. It doesn’t rush you to buy the pro version.
7. Literally everything else.

Great app, great developer response

I love PeriodicTable, it has so many handy features! I haven’t used it yet but I can already see how incredibly useful it will be for my chemistry homework. I submitted some feedback to add a zoom function and was pleasantly surprised to find that the developer of PeriodicTable themself responded to me through email, saying that they will try to add such a feature. Great app, I plan on recommending it to all of my friends.

Sweet like C12 H22 O11 😊!!!

I’ve just downloaded this FREE periodic table for chemistry and so far I love what I see. The dark mode, the elegant layout, and loads of IUPAC approved information that I can trust. Thank you, Nikita!

I’m wondering what is in paid PRO version beyond is here? I’m a physicist by training and I can think of an entire textbook or 5Gb sized app worth of information about the Standard Model, and other esoteric stuff only particle physicists care about.

But no app is going to replace reference books and internet sites, journals, forums, and so on – of course. If I may ask, then, what does the extra three bucks for the PRO app have that is missing from the free version? Thank you for considering my question.

Five Star App all the way! Free! Just get it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great App - A few suggestions

PeriodicTable is solid, no question, but a few things that I noticed could be improved:

-Display electron configurations in SPDF format in addition to KLNM format. If someone is used to one or their schoolwork requires one, the other isn’t especially useful.

-Allow the entire table to be seen at once. I’m not sure if it’s just my model (iPad 5), but only part of the table is visible at any one time, and I need to scroll around a bit to see everything. This just seems like an odd oversight to me.

Essential for Chemistry Students

Honestly, when I first downloaded PeriodicTable, I was just expecting a bland table just saying what elements are on there, without even a description.
However, I was very wrong, as PeriodicTable is packed full of useful information, and even som hypothetical ones, with estimations that are genuine. It shows you all about its structure, its formation of particles and a very precise atomic weight, among a ton of other things.
You don't even need the pro version to get all the basic information (which isn't even "basic" as it already informative) but it sms like it would still help more.
The layout of PeriodicTable is also nice and easy to navigate through, and I am surprised this is not advertised at all. This would be a very good app for students learning the complex world of Chemistry.

Keep up the amazing work!

I Use It All The Time

I work in the natural health industry and consult PeriodicTable frequently to educate both myself and others, particularly on the very important topic of the close-valence substitution effect that is called “isosterism” in the field of chemistry.

Along those lines, PeriodicTable allows me to very conveniently see what elements are in a given column or immediately next to each other and thereby exhibit the property of isosterism, wherein they will interfere and compete with each other for use in various biochemical effects.

Perfect application

This is an amazing periodic table application. The search tool offers a great way to find elements without needing to look through every element of the table. It offers so much information about every element that I don’t even know what to do with. I also have not encountered a single advertisement which is not common in free apps. I have no need for the extra information in the pro version but I would consider buying it just to support these developers.

Amazing app

I used PeriodicTable for my chemistry class in HS and I cannot tell you how many times I opened PeriodicTable to help with homework, PT memorization, and finding certain elements. This really helped because my chemistry teachers periodic table was old and falling apart, I even recommended PeriodicTable to him. So I can’t thank you enough for my A+.
