Apple Watch bug?

I got this app for my Apple Watch (Watch OS 8.4), but it turns stops playing every time the screen turns off! This doesn’t happen with any other Watch apps or with this app on my phone. The developer website doesn’t work to get support. It’s a shame because it sounds amazing but it doesn’t do what I need it too.
Watch app is useless

Not sure what the point of shipping an Apple Watch version of this app is. You start playing a soundtrack, and it immediately stops when you put your wrist down. Doesn’t play in the background over connected headphones as one would expect.
Hate the update!

Used to love this app. Pleasing sounds, that you can mix and match, easy to use interface, then an update became available… when the app loads, the screen no longer responds consistently to my touch. I can’t scroll to look at all the sound options. I touch the screen and drag down as you do in scrolling and nothing happens. Try again, nothing. Eventually, after multiple attempts, it responds, but as soon as I lift my finger I am back to fighting the screen to scroll. It didn’t do this in the earlier version of the app.
