The Public Reading of Scripture app is designed to bring the church back to the practice of reading and listening to the Bible in community. The app provides reading plans for 20, 30, 45, and 60 minutes, with each session starting and ending with a Psalm as opening and closing prayers. The app also includes videos from The Bible Project, which provide helpful context, such as narrative structure, themes, and historical background of the book in that session.

This audio Bible is the best I’ve ever heard. It’s almost like listening to a movie. There’s dramatic music/sounds in the background. Each person has a different voice. I listen to it driving, working, sleeping. What better way to fall asleep than listening to God’s Word! Thank you for making this available. It’s truly a blessing.

Thank-you sooo much for PublicReadingofScripture! I have had it between 2 and 3 weeks and I’m 35% through the Bible. I can’t wait to leave on my trips and be listening to Gods Holy Word while I drive. The sound effects, the correct pronunciation of names and places, the background music just flows wonderfully!
