I was so excited to find an app based on my actual birth chart. My birth chart was actually accurate but I already know my chart and wanted to use the ease of daily horoscopes according to my transits without having to do them myself at home. Sadly the horoscopes seem to be generated by a computer and come out in hallmark style broken English rather than actual astrological jargon and explanations for transits. The daily horoscopes also don’t go in advance of the current day so you can’t anticipate or plan and they only go back one day so you can’t go back to see older ones. The weekly and monthly horoscopes are often vague, contradictory, and ambiguous. Lastly I tried the compatibility feature and the report was a copy and paste of the free sun sign compatibility with date suggestions for 30 days rather than actual interpretations of squares, trines, conjunctions, or transits between our natal charts. Worst of all I signed up for the lifetime membership because my birth chart was accurate so I thought they might actually be legit. After discovering all the disappointing problems I’ve listed I contacted this app over a month ago about my misgivings and they never responded. Don’t waste your time or money.

Edited to say: Your reply to my review shows that you didn’t even read my review. I have extensive experience and knowledge in astrology which is why I am disappointed in the lack of real astrological information in your app.

Zodi is a huge waste of time, I signed up for a free trial thinking that it might be interesting but now it wants to bill me and there is no way possible to cancel it I have tried for days on end to find a way to cancel and there is no information and no way to contact anybody this is absolutely ridiculous Zodi should be taken down immediately.

I don’t mind supporting business but Zodi literally pushes you to spend money on it way harder than any other astrology app I’ve ever had. I’d rather invest in co-star. They still advertise but don’t ask for your wallet every waking moment. To me, push notifications asking for money amongst other things make me less interested. Instant uninstall.

Zodi is not accurate at all. I’ve had my astrology done by 2 of the best astrologers I know & their reports were completely different. It has my ascendant wrong & the houses wrong. Cafe astrology has very accurate info, before you download Zodi I would check what your stuff actually is at cafe astrology bc this is not correct.

Great app for content, the thing is you never get to read it with ads about bingo popping up at every screen. I’d rather have consumers actually enjoy Zodi then throw ads in their face every five seconds. Paying the subscription is ridiculous. If Zodi was actually useable for longer than 15 seconds without having to sit through an ad when you try to read anything then it MIGHT be worth 5 stars. Idk I don’t have the time to spend looking through it. My grandmother would have ran 5 miles by the time I got to the next screen with the amount of ads. I now have to file for bankruptcy because I was fired while waiting for the next screen. I’ve already had my first child and haven’t even gotten to read past my moon sign. Thanks this app for ruining my life

I did really like the content and did the 3 day trial…
But I have to say, 3 days is not long enough of a trial to figure out if you want to spend $15 PER MONTH or $10 PER WEEK. These prices if you as me are outrageous for a horoscope app.
I do understand that it digs deeper into you brith chart and has a lot more info than most apps
But $15 is too much to also have to pay(by the minute) to talk to an astrologer and really all you get without talking to an astrologer is your birth chart and compatibility which is totally not worth it for me.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend Zodi.

It’s really not what it’s shown to be. All you get for the price you pay is some information about your sign and a daily 3-4 sentence horoscope. If you want the readings or any other information, you have to pay for those on top of the payment for Zodi (which is $10 a week!) and for example a regular reading was $45! No thank you…

I cancelled my 3 day trial and I still got charged and according to them, I needed to cancel 24 hours before the trial ended and if it’s like that, it’s not really a 3 day trial but 2 days, waste of money and the horoscopes are very common and I can get my horoscope off my town’s newspaper, good luck to those people that do like Zodi , very overpriced

The Product Manager of Zodi clearly needs to read up on “Freemium” strategies or go back to PM 101. It’s nearly impossible to find moments of delight or get past the stickiness usage and engagement points when free (new downloads) users are bombarded with paid ads immediately out of the gate. This user experience is an automatic “DELETE.” Consider a Better upswell and monetization strategy guys… else all your hard content curation work is going down the drain (and falling on def ears).

Every action requires you to view “1” “30 second” ad. Instead you watch the ad, then have to cycle through Zodi Store and back out to X out the ad and 1/2 the time then are automatically taken to a second ad. Interface looks nice and could have potential but I’m not willing to waste so much time to find out. Recommend looking at other apps instead that will actually allow you to test out their product rather than try to trick you into it or use impatience as a way to earn money.

I had only clicked on 3 planets (each of them forcing me to watch a minute long ad in order to read the short paragraph written about each planet), when I got the spinning wheel of death. And apparently it’s here to stay, making it impossible to use Zodi .

Update: The developer responded defending their use of ads without addressing. The issue that I have with Zodi . Which pretty much trees me, “Pay us to look at the spinning wheel of death, because we don’t plan to make Zodi usable.” Goodbye. Already switched to Nebula, which is the exact same app (same layout and everything), but it actually works. I don’t mind listening to THEIR ads because after the ad I can actually LOOK at the content.

I either accidentally entered in the wrong time for my birth chart, or the chart calculation itself is wrong. I’ve reached out to customer support only for them to downplay my situation and act as if I don’t know my own chart at this point (I am nowhere near a beginner in terms of astrology, & I doubt the dozens of apps and websites I’ve used for 10+ years on end wouldn’t give me the same result only for this apps to be completely different…)

Really hoping they can improve their customer support. I don’t appreciate not being taken seriously and talked down to as if I have no clue what I am talking about. I even addressed I may have entered incorrect info in Zodi and either way needed help correcting it. Definitely don’t appreciate what’s gone on so far.

But WHY is it $15/mo?! Being able to check compatibility multiple times is NOT a good enough reason. And it does NOT provide any other content that is worthy of such a high price. If it's a matter of no ads - $15/mo is still incredibly excessive for THAT, too.
I thought maybe some of the personalized services provided by the astrologers was included for that price. But, NOPE.
I DO NOT recommend the premium service. Waste of my GD money.

I like using this app, but I’m confused. The monthly horoscopes can’t be read fully and I’m wondering if that’s a glitch or does it cost more? Nothing happens when I tap on the subjects, but I can see that there is a message under them. I also have a subscription for the year that I paid for, so it’s not like I’m using Zodi for free.

It acknowledges my rising sign as Scorpio (1h), yet the subsequent houses don’t align with the zodiac wheel. Either Zodi is buggy or something is incorrect…. whether whole sign, placidus, etc., it doesn’t change the order of the zodiac wheel. Please fix to provide folks with accurate info.

I asked my friend to get me a yearly subscription to Zodi for my birthday haha it's so addictive and so much fun. Zodi really makes my days brighter. If you are thinking about whether you should download it or not, do it!!! I’m not using any paid subscription rn, and they have so much cool free content.

This is the most useful feature ever! In this app you can ask absolutely any question in the online mode, without scrolling the unnecessary information. You simply log in, choose the astrologer and ask. Isn’t that perfect?
