This game has so much potential, but right now, it is broken. Currently, you can see who you are voting for before you vote and the game has someone (or several someone’s) using this to lower the scores of good designs and make designs that look like yard sales win top looks. It’s really sad. Also, they put “objectives” for each challenges that are often nonsensical and don’t even make sense so there are really no objectives for the challenges. When I reported this to them, they said ‘We will fix voting later’ as if it was not important. I’m a formally trained designer. My husband was in the video game industry for years so I never have a problem putting real money into games like this to support them but until this problem is fixed,I will not put another penny in the game. I sincerely hope this is fixed because I do feel it has the most potential of any design game out there. (Maybe that is the problem- are they being gamed by their competition? I just can’t imagine the motivation of anyone to vote down beautiful designs). Don’t put money in the game until this is fixed.

For weeks now it appears the developers of this game is trying to drive away its loyal players? Why would a company choose to lose money? Not only has certain changes like the cost of items been a turn-off, but lately the scoring has been so bad, it makes people want to quit. Is this game self-destructing? It appears so. It has lost its appeal to thousands of players. It constantly repeats rooms to design, repeats Global prize packages, and overcharges for art decorations. Scoring is now abominable. So called top designs are the same designers over & over, to the point you can recognize their same “style” over & over. What once started as a great design game is no longer fun for faithful followers. So they stop playing. No play = no income. This page has not even been updated in over 6 months. The write up is not current. Today I would recommend this game only if you spend nothing more than perhaps the monthly card and for bundles, the only parts that do change regularly. Expect poor scoring so wear a tough skin. It is truly a shame.

I used to love this game! But not only have the developers dropped the ball on improving this game, they’ve dropped the ball on protecting its players!!
This game has a live feed. And groups where you can actually talk to the people in your group. You can also comment on the designs. If your score a TD (top design), your design makes ‘news’ and posted at the top of the feed with your TD and crown. At that point anyone and everyone can comment and see you. And access your page. There is a stalker that starts ‘following people’ from that point. A very rude and obnoxious person. It’s happened to one of the ladies in my group. Then me for defending her, then others for defending her. This person has changed its name about 6 times. But you have to keep the same player number. So we know it’s the same person. Now it’s happening to many others. This person goes from one person to another and another. We have reported this many many times. With proof. Screenshots and lengthy descriptions of what’s happening. DMR (Design My Room) will NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!! We have asked repeatedly, we have also asked for a BLOCK OPTION! To no avail!! They do not care! Fair warning. Don’t use your real name if you don’t want stalkers !!

Rip off,Scam,bamboozlers ,you name it Very unfair voting system, how is it fair when you can see who you’re voting for before you even vote, the SAME designs by the SAME people win all the time,there’s obviously a lot of copying of designs going on just to get high scores,the prices of merchandise has increased at least 30 percent for no reason,they use the same rooms over and over there’s rarely any new merchandise, lately a lot of designs that clearly have no imagination or talent whatsoever are constantly winning top designs and 5 stars ( to my point it’s either the same old people creating the same designs over and over or designs that have no talent or imagination at all who are always in the top designs) the inactive players are keeping the daily or frequent players from a rightful adequate ranking,I’ve reached out to them on a couple of occasions and nothing fixed….and it’s really sad because it’s got a lot of potential….so talent is not really being rewarded the goal is to make money by any means necessary even if it means game employees or game trolls purposely sabotaging its players

This game is a waste of time because as EVERYONE is saying and I came on to say myself the voting is rigged. The only rooms that win are usually the ones that look like rainbow bright puked all over it, or the pay to play rooms without fail. The pricing for a five use piece of furniture is outrageous and limiting to the extreme. You can’t even buy a PICTURE for the amount of diamonds they give you and the only way to get more is of course to pay ridiculous prices on diamonds. You will easily burn through them in only two or three rooms if you buy a hearty sum. Greed obviously drives these developers and believe me they are aware of these issues. I don’t know if what some people are saying is true about the voting is not actually done by people but I do know there is a major issue here, this game is unbalanced and I highly doubt the developers will ever fix it or even want to. As long as they are making money they couldn’t care less about the nonprofit players. That’s how I feel and apparently there are many other players who feel the same way.

Unfair voting system & results really take away from the enjoyment of this game. Not only is the voting unfair but the results always fall just short of getting a 4.0 (or higher) needed to earn the featured furnishing item reward. The ugliest rooms always win because they are done by the designers who pay gobs of real money to play. It’s impossible to earn enough free game currency to purchase the necessary items needed to create a cohesive and appealing room. Voting favors the “most popular friend” players who pay to play. Furnishing colors, styles, scale, patterns, finishes, textures, etc are limiting and hard to work with because there are few options that mesh well together. You can expect great progress if you are willing to spend real money and place every accessory item into the design no matter if they work in the space, just that you place an object there to create a crowed “hot mess”. Too bad because there are some very talented designer players but they don’t get the recognition or deserved rewards. Please consider some of the bugs too......

It’s a good game the 1st level was amazing I thought this was the 1st game about just relaxing not trying to spend money wisely, at least I thought that next levels is about diamonds and coins game currency you can’t even make your design different because you’re like so I can’t spend money on this to much but I spent money on this different l last level let’s just use that... so yes this game is not the best but I recommend games like sims at least there’s a good story I know there’s money you have to spend but at least there’s like a amazing game sorry behind the designs and the work and the stuff you put in to the game but it’s nothing this game has no story just a little girl talking and a few hours of fun then you run out of money, next day you get a prize online ppl vote on your design and that gets your prize for next day but we have to spend money and make are designs look all the same ppl are gonna vote dislike and we get bad prizes and no money, your game is fun for a bit, please send me feadback!

The game is fun & the interaction with others on DMR is great! The biggest problems are that they have a Daily Bonus, a Level, a Weekly, & a Diamond challenge that they give you the idea that you should do when they’re offered (Level is offered once weekly) but the challenges don’t open all at the same time! They open any where from immediately to 9 or more hours later! I like to design the rooms, even as weird as some of them are, but being married to the game is ridiculous! If all the challenges are available to everyone around the world at the same time, meaning they can be done one after the other, regardless of time zone, it would make the game easier, more enjoyable & more apt to keep people playing or invite more people to join. Unless you plan to be tired to a pad or a phone all day into the night, don’t get into the game. If you have nothing to do all day & into the night w/ no life outside of the game, it’s for you. I tried keeping up with it because it is fun but I have to much to do and it’s getting in the way of my life. Ya can’t keep up with it if you have a job, or worse, don’t have a job unless you’re independently wealthy! I won’t say it’s not fun but it’s a pain sometimes as well as somewhat addictive! Do beware!

I have been playing with Game for a while and I feel like it’s a scam going on. Nobody ever in looking at the designs I feel like I have a Lotta talent and I know that my designs I have are fantastic but I get low Scores no Body is really looking at them. And recently I should have 1725 diamond I should get back when I made a purchased I gave them the date the time and they have my credit card and I have reported it to them 2 times and I still have not received them I am Mad. And also a lady in my group was 11 stars behind me and one day she was8 stars I have a head of me. That is impossible and then another lady was the same way and then another lady what is going on. This is not fair at all. I have find my self frustrated. I’ve spent way to much money on this game. If they played the game they would see the problems. I do enjoy the game and I have met people all over the world which is awesome. And I have made friends which I care about. Please someone look at all my designs and tell me that they should score higher then what they are. And I want my Diamonds back or give me my money back please I would appreciate it. You need to fix the problems. I am really thinking about quitting this game. Someone please help me now

I really liked DesignMyRoom when I first stated putting pieces together. Didn’t care about competing against other players just liked putting designs together. Now every time I try to put a room together the way I want I get kicked out of the program. What the heck. The purpose I thought was to have fun creating your own ideas, visions, of how you see your room. That is the name right ( design a room ) not design what is programmed for how others what the game to merit. I had placed this at a 4.5 level when I started yes it had some disadvantages like prices for outrageous merchandise or locking down favorite items so you could not reuse but I still found things I liked about making my room design my idea not the person who placed bindings on. Now the fun has dropped way down I don’t like just dropping all this; I hit level 27 awhile ago and been stuck here can’t move because again every time I try to create a room get dropped off the program. So frustratingly disappointed.

When I first started this game I had many options. Decorations and plants I purchased. As I used them, I went back to repurchase....the plants, wall art and table art I had before are now locked!! Instead of taking away things we had access to just add more! Don’t take stuff away. I also liked the freedom to put in what I thought looks nice. However now I have to meet certain criteria like the competitor. I wouldn’t mind except your decor choices at this point are still quite limited. The other frustrating thing is that the furniture is not all the same scale. So a chair you add is really small next to a sofa as an example. Lastly, after today’s update I went to decorate the first item. It required a beige sofa. The room had blue grey walls, a fireplace in the center with windows on either side and a marble floor. I put my beige sofa in and it’s sitting directly in front of the fireplace! Like it’s totally against the flaming fireplace! It doesn’t matter what sofa you choose....if the sofa has a shorter back the lit fireplace is partially seen. So the only way to fix this is having the required beige sofa with a high enough back to totally cover the beautiful burning fireplace. Ugh (eye roll). Please....stop taking options away, get a much larger set of choices, make sure furniture is to scale and be much more diligent in making sure the rooms you have to design doesn’t start a sofa on fire!!

I love this game however most things have gotten too expensive for me. I buy the monthly pass and still have to spend a lot of money to get things and be up to date. You really should try to reduce the prices on everything and maybe be able to trade in furniture that you don’t like for something else that you do like. Also since you updated the game I keep getting bounced out and have to redo most things when the game allows me to get back in. Can you please fix this? Also, again, please do something about the high cost of things. I really love this game but I can’t keep buying and buying as I am on a fixed low income. Thanks you for your attention in these matters.

This is a fun designing app, although a few things are very frustrating. As one person said, the furniture sometimes it’s not always to scale and the colors don’t match what they’re supposed to be. Like purple actually looks brown and white looks gray. Also some of the stories behind the rooms are kind of dumb and don’t make any sense at all and have nothing to do with the design of the room. I agree with one other player when they said that we should be able to keep the really expensive items that we buy, or at least give us more than five of them. Also I’m not sure that I like the voting technique. With my other designing game you have a choice to vote between two rooms. With this game you only get to hit like or dislike there’s no in between so I feel like that gives people lower scores. When you run out of diamonds there should be things that you could do to gain more diamonds as another design games other than purchasing them.

This game is pretty fun, but there are some problems that I’ve noticed so far. There are A LOT of typos, which makes me sliiiightly nervous about the safety of DesignMyRoom, though it’s probably just me being silly and paranoid. Other than that there a quite a few tracking problems, sometimes I’ll put something down, not like it, and try to pick it back up and no matter where I touch it it won’t register. It gets very frustrating frantically tapping up and down an item trying to get it back into my inventory. The only other thing I’ve noticed is that the colours don’t match, they’ll say something is purple in the name but it’ll actually be a completely different colour once it’s put in your room. Literally completely different. My mom has a “purple” couch that’s actually brown.

I’ve just started playing though! Only designed four rooms so far, so those are just early observations, still pretty fun though!

Hi there I love DesignMyRoom but it needs some changes will no not some changes but one change whenever I go into DesignMyRoom to go decorate or play or gold design I go into one of my design places I click on it I start designing and then about when I’m done I’m clicking the finish button and I’m just about to click I’m satisfied with this or something like that it just kicks me out and then when I go back again it’s not saved? So that really frustrates me in that’s happening every single time it’s really annoying can you please fix this so make sure that that first of all that DesignMyRoom is not kick me out and second of all that if it does take me out I’m able to get back in and my design is saved thank you and remember I love DesignMyRoom it just has one problem that needs to be fixed but other than that guys if you want to get DesignMyRoom then get it it’s an amazing app or maybe the kicking out it’s just me but I don’t so yeah thank you your biggest fan

I really love this game, and I admit that I’m addicted! There are a few issues that need to be addressed, and a few improvements which would be very beneficial. The BEST addition that could be made would be the option to trade or sell pieces of furniture for other items or coins/diamonds. Random extra items and pieces that you just don’t like could be sold or traded. Also, “table art” sometimes includes lamps or restaurant options, and sometimes it doesn’t. I think all of the table art items should be available for side tables, end tables, etc. As others have noted, the scale of the furniture, etc. isn’t consistent, and it’s frustrating when the item you’d like to use is either much too large/small. This is really noticeable with the armchairs and side tables. Also, sometimes the requirements for the room don’t exactly work with the given layout - especially if you want to align your work to the “inspiration” behind it. Voting doesn’t always seem fair; if you spend real money you’re much more likely to get scores of 4-5. Finally, the game still awards badges for progress, but now there’s no new story chapters to use them....? Again, I love the game!! The main thing I’d like to see is the trade/sell option for items. 😁

It’s an excellent app. I highly recommend you download it, however it’s addictive. One thing I really think that they should have is a way to earn money and diamonds like in other design apps. Like watching videos, and put a limit on it each day like other games. It’s too expensive and people can’t always play it everyday if you don’t charge your policies. Most people can afford to pay every now and then, and I believe it should be give and take. The less you charge for things usually the more people tend to buy the product and it’s win win. We get it for cheaper and you get more people playing. Word of mouth is better than any advertisement that you pay for. Just my opinion. Thanks for reading my suggestions if you even do. That’s why I gave it 4 ⭐️s instead of 5.

Wow First off I would like to say. The game is very fun to play. BUT when it comes to judging the designs. I’m very sure there is some discrimination and favoritism going on. And when you call them out. Oh they notice it because you start to see your scores dropping.. The same people receives the Top Designs even when they don’t have ALL the pieces.. for instance They could be missing a picture frame. But hey They Still get the Top Design. So why buy diamonds and spend all that money if they just going to ignore your design. And yes It be designs that looks way better than some that makes the cut But hey They DONT care They Keep their favorites and regulars and you’re just out of money with a low score. And laughs in your face. I would say DO NOT BUY ANY DIAMONDS just wait until yours build up. The Chinese pictures are ALWAYS winning. I’m starting to think they are computers. Cause my design was the SAME as one and I still received a low score. She copied off mines. I guess that was the slap in my face That hey They run that app I’m just a purchaser. I dedicated a couple to #BLM and all my scores went DOWN DOWN DOWN and was NEVER move to the next level. Been sick at level 26 and I’ve been playing long enough to be at 30 something. But hey I guess it’s they’re app They can do whatever they please... but at this point. I know WHEN IM NOT WANTED!

I really love the game, and I have given it a 5 star rating. However, there have been several times I didn’t receive my diamonds or some other reward! It’s disappointing, especially since the only way too get diamonds is at the start of the day and if you get a 5 star on a room. I can’t pay for diamonds and shouldn’t have too! Art work of any kind as well as plants are only able to be purchased with diamonds. It’s limited as it is but if I don’t receive them when I should my designs are not as good. I looked everywhere on my game to contact someone yesterday when I didn’t get my 1000 diamonds at the start, but couldn’t find a way to say there were issues with the game, so I came to the to DesignMyRoom Store to post to you! If you could make a few changes in the game it would be even more enjoyable!

Finally a game for creative people and women..no offense gentlemen it’s just games are always made for men & kids and we women need or want to play games that are geared towards us women and of course all who have a need to express there creative side..just would like to see a game like this become just as big as the Sims but in Home Designing with a lot more options to play it mobile like mobile sims..think I’ve made my point on expressing myself about this game..😉
But I would like to see the game make it more accessible to get diamonds because we can not get plants or art unless we have enough and I would like to see the game change if we like other peoples designs why can’t we get diamonds for that they’ve got to fix this problem because diamonds are the way that we can complete interior designs..
I would like to see more companies create games for women!!!
