Honestly, this is a great app for creating covers and I’ve been using it for over a year now. I’d love to continue using it but every time I try to open BookCoverMaker , it crashes after only showing the name for a second or so. I was looking to create a new book cover just recently when I noticed the problem, which I thought was only due to my phone being old. Unluckily, no matter how much I open, close, and reopen BookCoverMaker , it still won’t work. I’ve even tried restarting my phone to see if that would help. I finally got tired of all the attempts and came here to write about it. It’s been like this for a few weeks now and I’m hoping it can be fixed soon.

I have had the free version for a little over a month now . My subscription for another art program had book covers but I like the 800 fonts better feature and my question is can someone make a book with their pro subscription and then sale the book online with the cover to the book? I’m asking this because I was asked to make a book cover for a friend who wants to sell his books online . Right now I’ve just decided to go with his pictures for his front and his back cover with a title in the front. I’m using a normal font with some colors and shadowing. I like to know if I can use these fonts and graphics you have to sell books online ? Any help would be greatly appreciated .

I love BookCoverMaker , it’s the best app I’ve downloaded for book covers. Probably like most people, I use it for wattpad. I have gave it 3 stars because I wish there could be more book covers. The ones I use, I have never seen before on any other story, because I try to find a really good- original cover. But the hard thing is, a lot of the covers are very similar so it’s hard to find certain topics. I’ve found all my covers perfectly, it’s just I would wish maybe there could be more because one day, People are going to be noticing the same cover on stories much more often. I also wish that where you get the text and stuff could have a appear and disappear button. Sometimes I like to put a bit of text at the bottom, but it’s hard to center it when there’s the tools right there. But overall, I love BookCoverMaker !

I find BookCoverMaker difficult to use in comparison to other photo editing apps, because the toolbar that sits at the bottom of the screen is too small. When I try to swipe through the different options, my phone thinks I’m swiping up to leave BookCoverMaker , and so I get kicked out of BookCoverMaker . If the toolbar was a little bigger or sat at the top instead, it would be easier to scroll through without leaving BookCoverMaker .

Another problem I had was with inaccurate previews. For whatever reason, when I’m looking at a preview of my work in BookCoverMaker , it completely changes the sizes of random letters in my words. When I uploaded it to Wattpad, it was fine. It’s just an in-app issue.

The convenience of being able to upload straight to your stories on Wattpad is nice, but I think I’ll just stick to a photo editing app that’s got a better user interface.

I love making covers. It’s one of my favorite parts of writing. I usually use my computer and programs on it, but sometimes I don’t have access and being able to create a decent one on my phone is really convenient.
I tried BookCoverMaker because of Wattpad and I think it has potential. Some of the designs I tried were sort of glitchy and some of the controls are awkward or laggy.
Over all, I would recommend if you want a really basic cover. I also like that it has centering marks unlike the other Wattpad covers app. It makes it easier to tell that everything is in the center and not all over the place.

I really like BookCoverMaker and it’s great for designing book covers of all sorts, and I just love using it. But I’ve always had a problem with it. Whenever I don’t open BookCoverMaker for more then two days, it logs me out, and it’s gotten very annoying over the past year of me having it. I have also made a review about it, I think a year ago, and the problem hasn’t been fixed. I would either like a very reasonable response to why this is happening, or the problem to be fixed. Either or both is appreciated. But other then that this is a great app to use, and I would definitely recommend it!

BookCoverMaker is too confusing and complicated to use and the pictures have terrible quality. The pictures could be clear on apps like Wattpad or on a person’s camera roll, but, somehow, they come out very blurry on BookCoverMaker. That needs to be fixed, especially since this is for book covers. The first few minutes I had BookCoverMaker made me very annoyed and, after a little while longer, I gave up on it. I only got it because of Wattpad just to see what it was like. It could be a lot better.
Book cover apps have a lot of potential, especially since there are a lot of authors who write online and need a cheap and quick way to make attractive and attention-grabbing covers. If the problem with the pictures could be fixed and if BookCoverMaker was made less complicated and vexing, I’m sure authors will be very pleased and will use BookCoverMaker religiously.

Overall BookCoverMaker is great I love it but recently I was trying to make a book for a story I had one Wattpad and I would open BookCoverMaker but it would take a minute or three but then it would just take me back to my Home Screen and wouldn’t let me use BookCoverMaker so I wasn’t able to use it for a bit and still am having a heard time with it but BookCoverMaker is a great way to make book covers! I do recommend it mainly just hopefully that little glitch will get fixed.

BookCoverMaker is so blurry when I try to make a cover. When I make a cover on the Wattpad cover app they are clear and high quality, but BookCoverMaker is terrible. They are extremely low quality even when the picture is high definition. Can’t make the controls work properly even if I know how to use them. Covers are an important part of a book. They are the main thing that draws in a reader. I loved the Wattpad cover app until I couldn’t connect it to Wattpad. I like writing stories, but no one is going to read a story with a crappy cover. I made a really nice cover, but I couldn’t connect it to Wattpad so I tried to connect it to BookCoverMaker, but it would always close BookCoverMaker before I could connect it. Even if I could connect it, the quality would drop significantly. Make the Wattpad cover app connect to its own app.

I have gone through many app’s to edit book covers mostly because I creat books on wattpad, and like every other app it’s going to have its imperfections. I love how it’s really easy to use for beginners and how we get a recommendation on what covers we should use. The one thing that stood out to me is when you creat your own book cover the zoom and both text are very laggy and glitchy. It’s hard to get the picture the right size you want it without it completely glitching. I love the fonts! I think we should get more options of fonts, but other than that this is a great app and I would recommend some one to use it

BookCoverMaker is good if you already know exactly how you want your book cover to look and are quick, but for me I like to test things. BookCoverMaker keeps shutting down or restarting itself, and if I don’t save my work every 2 seconds it deletes everything. So I lose all of the fonts and my entire layout. Just now it kept restarting back to back to back, even after I closed out BookCoverMaker , it was so bad I wasn’t even able to place down a word box before it reset itself. This bug is extremely inconvenient and wildly annoying.

I wrote a review earlier and it talked about my issues with BookCoverMaker . They recently had and update and gave a reply to mine and others review concerning the issues. I went into BookCoverMaker to see what changed, and I instantly loved it. I could move the screen without it being on cocaine. It works great, and while I don’t know of anymore issues, as there still might be some, i think BookCoverMaker will do well. The customer support is marvelous, as they replied to many people who had issues and fixed them. Amazing.

BookCoverMaker is way too confusing to me and I tried to make a cover for it but it didn’t work. If I’m to he completely honest, wattpad covers was better because in BookCoverMaker I’d let’s say I made a cover, it doesn’t take up the whole cover for the cover of the story and it’s supposed to do that and BookCoverMaker is too confusing and my sister said wattpad covers is still on BookCoverMaker Store but I can’t seem to find it anywhere and I want to make a cover for my books and I can’t seem to figure out how to work this. I don’t mean to be rude or nothing, but this is why I don’t like BookCoverMaker too much, and why I have it 1 Star and it’s just my opinion and I know that people are putting in so much work for BookCoverMaker so please don’t get mad at me.

I have only a few problems with it, one is the align tool, it doesn’t work, at least on iPhone, because when you try to select multiple elements you can’t, when trying to move the edges of text boxes, there is nothing to move it vertically, if you want to move it diagonally or horizontally it’s great, but you can’t adjust vertically, and it’s pretty much impossible to center things properly, aside from that, no complaints.

I’m sure BookCoverMaker is capable of great things... but not with me. I’ve spent ten minutes trying to scale my own picture to fit the selected lines and ended up ruining it. Is there an option that I don’t know about to automatically scales a photo for you? When I tried adding text to the picture, I somehow ended up in a translator that had no way of going down. When I tried getting out of the translator, the picture ended up glitching out.

It takes a lot of time and effort to get anything even mediocre. Other people could do great things, I’m sure, but it’s not worth it for me. I could do so much better with PicsArt or any other photo editor.

I use BookCoverMaker exclusively to make my book covers but it’s been a while that it won’t work. It gets to the title screen and then crashes. I have a few covers that I haven’t saved to my phone there and I’m afraid their gone forever. I keep checking for updates but none have solved the problem. I guess I’ll have to find a new app even though I loved this one.

I wrote ALOT, and BookCoverMaker just comes in handy when needing a cover. It gives you many options and lets you edit, overall fantastic app. But, every since it had updated, it doesn’t load. I click on BookCoverMaker and it loads for like 20 seconds then closes itself out. I’ve tried restarting my phone, closing out BookCoverMaker , deleting it and redownloading it, but it still doesn’t the same thing. WHAT THE HECK?!

The ONLY and when I say only, it’s true. The only flaw is that you have to unlock stuff, meaning, you have to pay for it. But other besides that, you g t to create awesome stories and design a book cover using BookCoverMaker it asked you to get. Yes, it does have two apps, NO you don’t need both. It’s just highly recommended. The book cover app is SO fun. It lets your inner artist come out. You get to choose everything. Overall, AWESOME app!

BookCoverMaker is wonderful. overall it helps me make covers for my books that i like to write in my free time. but every time i open up BookCoverMaker , it doesn’t get past the loading screen and eventually BookCoverMaker closes. if i want to get in BookCoverMaker , i have to delete and redownload it, make a new account, and then it’ll let me for one time. then the process repeats. please fix this.

This is surely a great app. I love all the template selections and the fonts and everything! I love how Wattpad covers can be made with BookCoverMaker! I love to write wp stories, and this is a great app for it. But I’d like to know, is there a web browser for pictures? Like safari or bing or any browser. Because not all pictures I need are on here, but it’s still a good app! I recommend this to other users and all ages I guess. That’s all I need to know.

BookCoverMaker is good but it’s way to hard and Glitchy. Spent 20 minuets on a cover before deciding that wattpad Covers will forever be better. Every time I Closed the Text I never saw the Tool Bar after I wrote something down. If you use body text or smaller do that before your picture as it could make it more difficult to use.

All in all BookCoverMaker could be great but ether I have Bad coronation skills Or it’s BookCoverMaker that’s making things more complicated than normal I don’t care.

Several apps I suggest using is wattpad covers,IBS paint (if you know the dimensions),Or Canva. But BookCoverMaker Makes it harder to make a cover.

Hi! This is actually a really good app. I myself am an aspiring author on Wattpad, and BookCoverMaker is so much better than the last one. For this, you can use many different photos, change the opacity, theme, title banner, all sorts of things! As well as how easily you can transfer it to your own story. The last app had all sorts of issues. I would totally recommend it.

Though the covers seemed very easy to make, it was hard to work with. The way it functions is complicated and frustrating for those with little to no patience. I dislike how long it took to attempt to make a cover and the end result was deleted due to the accidental push of a wrong button because the cover kept moving and messing me up. Which is my fault but for people that don’t have enough patiences to restart or mess up a lot. I suggest using Wattpad covers because it’s simpler and easier to use.

Everything looks great, up to the point when it doesn’t. The only bad thing about this is the quality: Whenever I create a cover, it looks so perfect, but when I apply it to an app, or save it to my photos, it looks messy, and 8bit-like. Other than that, though, everything works perfectly!

I’ve tried multiple pictures on BookCoverMaker, and all of them lose their quality when applied. I thought it might just be the size, so I went to another editing app, cropped it to size(and it looked incredible). I put the same image in BookCoverMaker, and the quality looks like it dropped ten-fold.

Along with that, it’s pretty hard to zoom out without messing up the size of the image selected.

Overall, annoying to use, and just makes images look bad.

I recently wrote a book on Wattpad, and I wanted to create a cover. So, I did what Wattpad told me to do, download BookCoverMaker. So I did, and I did not like it at all. It’s really hard to make a cover because it’s super touchy. I will touch it ever so lightly, and it will completely change my cover. Please do not download BookCoverMaker. It’s a complete waste of time and energy. Find a better app to make covers for your good books and be happy with your cover. You will not be happy when you download BookCoverMaker and try to make a book cover. Thank you for reading this, I appreciate that.
