If you want money, try being straight forward and honest. Instead you are forcing previously satisfied users to accept your “new and improved product” with NO opportunity to REGET it. Even worse, you lock out your former, very satisfying app. The net result: both app’s, new and old are closed and deleted, now and forever. Why do I give you one star; so I can write this and warn everyone else who should be smart enough to review my honest, true and factual experience, provided of course, that you’ve got the integrity to print this ! ! ! Additional Thoughts: After being contacted by the Developer for a second opinion, I restored this app, and found it was even worse than I originally stated. Each step and each page during sign up, leave you NO OPTION except to accept the offering, page by page in order to finally get the “new” App. But the “new” app has locked you out from keeping the “old” app. You can’t keep the old app even if you want it. Nor can you restore any prior settings . Additionally, you have to agree to a release to accept and provide your locations, addresses, usage, etc. I have family in two countries in the far east, five countries in Europe, along with ten states. Your previous app kept me informed. I don’t want to expose any one to you or your income producing advertisers. Maybe NOW you’ll get the message ! ! !

Lots of pretty colors and gimmicky graphics such as the large earth globe on the main page which does not help anyone but sure does look pretty. Weather radar is very important to me and the very first thing I notice is how the radar map display only uses about half the screen real estate and that is a big strike for me. Another big strike is that the temperature was off a full 7° for my location. It says 61° when my other three weather app which use the National Weather Service feed All day 68°. Believe me I can tell the difference between 61° and 68° and I just verified as I walked outside. I rarely ever give one star reviews sorry but delete city.

December 20, 2018 I was forced to download the new ad driven Weathernow app. Like a lot of folks we have family in numerous locations across the country and we like to watch the weather in those locations. When attempting to add these locations I was forced to watch an ad each time. Additionally, the new app does not include all the cities and towns included in the old app. Once a city is selected or your location is determined by the app editing cities is not allowed. More advertising less usable information not a winning combination at least for us.
