Update: Uninstalled. It just stopped working. Everything is was set up for it to go off and it didn’t. There are a ton of glitches as well, like it will say the next time it’s set to go off is Thursday, but it’s programmed for Tuesday. Really crappy app.

I downloaded this because I have a hard time finding an alarm with a customizable snooze. I keep my phone on silent at night (the time when most people on the planet would want it to be on silent) and in the first night using AlarmClockApp it worked fine. It was great.
Last night, the second night using it, the alarm decided it didn’t want to work with the phone on silent. I overslept by 1 1/2 hours. Thanks.
Full disclosure, a notification does pop up to say to turn off silent mode, but in AlarmClockApp itself the message just says to keep AlarmClockApp open for it to work. All the other alarms I’ve downloaded (almost all off them) work while the phone is silent so I do t understand this issue. It’s a real bummer.

This happened 3 times in the last few weeks. I set the alarm at night the same way I always do: play a specific song from my library at 9am the next morning. I verify that the volume is turned up all the way. The next morning, the alarm has apparently triggered at the correct time but the volume has turned itself all the way down and I miss my appointment. Most days since I installed AlarmClockApp it has worked correctly. But I can’t afford to have it fail randomly.

UPDATE: AlarmClockApp has not lived up to my expectations. The dates on the alarms are off a day or two. I bought the premium version because I wanted to be able to set an alarm to ring for a certain number of seconds and then stop. Even though I set the alarm not to snooze or repeat, it continues to go off. I am uninstalling AlarmClockApp and eating the premium update cost. AlarmClockApp concept is good, but the design has a lot to be desired. Don’t waste your money on AlarmClockApp.
Original rating: I really like AlarmClockApp , it has all the features I was looking for. The problem I have with it is I can't get the weather right and from what I see, there is no support for AlarmClockApp , even though I bought the premium version.

I was so excited when I found AlarmClockApp because it offered everything I wanted — waking up to the news and weather and I liked that it also played music afterwards. I loved everything about it and all the features. I paid for the Non-ad version immediately. Well, every single morning my alarm goes off it NEVER goes off using the news or weather — instead it plays an alarm tone. I don’t know why because it works perfectly when I demo it. I’m sooooo bummed :( it truly was exactly what I wanted.

The problem with AlarmClockApp is the fact it seems like every sitting is on another page! Why is it so hard to find the day and date? Why wouldn’t this be on the same page as the time set function?! Setting the alarm should take less than 20 or 30 seconds at most, instead of having to search for each setting individually. And where pray-tell, is the “silence off” button?! I still haven't found it! Of course there is zero instructions or help manual for any of this. So, sorry to say, I’ll probably be deleting this alarm and downloading another.

One thing I like about this alarm is popping up on the locked screen so that I can deal with it without hassle. Great when it works. But sometimes doesn’t work and then it’s more unfamiliar steps added on. Other things are inconsistent, like when I tap it to dismiss but it snoozes instead and then goes off again. Or setting snooze for 5 minutes and it goes off 1 minute later. (One minute is the default but I changed it. Sometimes it works and sometimes doesn’t. ) I’ve left these settings the same but never know how it’s going to behave, meaning it’s full of bugs and I can’t have any expectations of its behavior. Another one bites the dust.

There are plenty of free sounds to set as your alarm tone, but to listen to them you have to go through three different screens every time.

Also, the free version is ridiculous. I'd consider buying premium if the free version was good, but the alarm doesn't go off in a number of situations. If you accidentally turn off the screen when you hit snooze, or IF A POP-UP COMES ON TO YOUR SCREEN and you don't exit out of it your alarm will not go off. What a piece of garbage. Thanks for not waking me up.

Some nice features, including non-jarring alarms and a nightstand clock. However, the super-bright “home bar” at bottom of the screen ruins it. Please, please, please disable (or offer a way to disable” the home bar. It literally lights up the room at night. Other apps find a way to suppress the bar at the bottom of the screen when AlarmClockApp is in use.

I love being able to record my own message as an alarm. But the downfall is the volume playback is sooo low for that type of sound I slept through it. Also wish I didn’t have to keep AlarmClockApp open for it to work. But my biggest gripe is that it you have to keep it on and it gives off light. I wish it would go completely black and also the absolute worst part is that while it’s open there is this weird ticking noise that plays low the whole time AlarmClockApp is open. It’s really annoying to fall asleep to it. I’m sensitive to noises and light.

AlarmClockApp works great so far, but it needs to be more accurate in terms of my location for the weather (it located another city near mine instead) and it should give you the capability to log in, just like myTuner app to pick your favorite station for the alarm sound instead a random group of stations. Plus, each time I use the alarm I constantly have to remove it from the 24hr format. If these changes are made, I’m more than willing to give AlarmClockApp the 5 stars it deserves.

Been looking for a clock/weather alarm to replace my night stand clock and this one is by far the most elegant and useful of them all. It has a voice announcement capability which is a big bonus because I can’t read the weather in the morning without my glasses. I’m hoping the developer would add a playlist music capability as opposed to repeating the same song for the timer feature. I’ll wait for this feature for the 5th star. Hint hint..

I love the voice recorder feature because I could not get my 12 yr old son to wake up for any alarm sounds no matter how loud but he does wake up to the sound of his mother’s voice! This was a lifesaver for us! The only problem is that the date on his app is consistently one day off and therefore if the alarm is set for Monday morning but the clock will say it is Sunday and therefore not go off. I can’t find any way to change or correct the date. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling AlarmClockApp but still no luck.

I’m quite picky when it comes to alarm apps. This one is great...the many available options help me get just what i want for a wake up. My only complaint would be that as a snoozer, the button arrangement is not kind to a half-awake attempt to snooze. I’ve accidentally turned off the alarm multiple times. If the developers could move the Snooze and Off buttons from an Over/Under arrangement to a Left/Right arrangement...it would be perfect! Even still this is the best alarm app I’ve found!

AlarmClockApp delivers everything my old crusty radio alarm did and more. Obe minor issue…displayed date loses sync overnight on my IPhone 6plus running iOS 12.5.3. Restarting app resets date until it loses sync overnight. Alarm still goes off at set time. Please consider correcting this minor issue.

I’ve been using AlarmClockApp for years. I have never found a more useful alarm clock app to wake me up. I’m a deep sleeper and it always does the trick. It is very user friendly. So much so, that sometimes I just set up an alarm not to wake me up from sleep, but to remind me to attend to a particular task at a certain time. Yes, I know, my iPhone has “Notes” for that, but I just like using the alarm clock. I highly recommend AlarmClockApp.

Very nice, AlarmClockApp has many options for the sound quality and what you what to wake up to even how you want to dismiss the alarm I highly recommend AlarmClockApp for those simple reasons but everyone has different needs and this fits mine so find the right app for you

AlarmClockApp gets me up in the morning. Has amazing features and her setting to personalize it just for you. My only problem is that you have to go to sleep with AlarmClockApp being the last app you were on. Sometimes my tired brain forgets to go to AlarmClockApp and won’t get alerted in the morning. But other than that I love AlarmClockApp

I love it because it is a great app I like how there’s many different things you can here in the morning for example the weather, the radio, the newsroom really great how you can here all those thing but sometimes it goes a minute later then when I set it to so please fix that and then AlarmClockApp will be perfect

This alarm app isn’t as annoying as the other “recommended” alarm apps that usually make you quiz or test yourself to wake up, and end up waking you up in a grumpy mood... but they override your usual alarm and create a unfamiliar tone and routine to your morning.

I am the kind of person that tries to be a morning person but in reality I am not AlarmClockApp is great if you are the same there is A great selection of ways to dismiss the alarm and things to listen to when you wake up but the only thing is that you have to keep AlarmClockApp open in order for the alarms with time whether and headlines you work but over all it is great and if you’re planning on downloading it then do not hesitate

Extremely disappointing. I was very excited to have an alarm that I could shake or have to solve an equation for it to turn off, but you have to keep AlarmClockApp open all night for the alarm to actually work. If you even turn your phone off than the alarm sound won’t go off. Instead it leaves a message saying that the alarm went off and the sound will start once you open AlarmClockApp again. By then I have already overslept!

I downloaded this hoping I could set an alarm that would play a radio station, but ended up uninstalling AlarmClockApp after finding something that works much better for this purpose. AlarmClockApp is like other similar apps, you have to leave AlarmClockApp open (and your phone unlocked) all night for it to actually do what it says it does. I like that you can record your own media to use as an alarm, but when I saw that their selection of stations was subpar as well, I kept looking.
